@@Yero-pp8hm hi there, the reason is that bloodflame blade can not be applied to blood infusion. It can only be applied to standard, heavy, keen and quality (not sure if I've missed any) infusions.

I love this video. Could you give a bloodflame build for a level 100 character. This is my first playthrough, you’re amazing I’m subscribing immediately!
Thank you so much! For level 100, I recommend to play with heavy infusion with stats like (feel free to change), change to quality when you reach higher level: Vigor 40, mind 13, endurance 15, str 54, dex 22, int 0, faith 12, arcane 10 - you will wear lighter armor. If you have more points, add to vigor, mind, endurance as you go.

Thank you! I played unsheath on Uchigatana using bloodflame blade. You can definitely try it on nagakiba. Not sure if you would consider it as arcane build though. The closest to sword dance I tried is the LORETTA'S WAR SICKLE BUILD. It is a fun idea to put it on nagakiba.
Thanks! I would suggest keep faith at either 10 (EDIT: 12 the minimum) or 25 to cast golden vow AoW or spell. And reduce str and dex a bit. The damage should be fine. If you are not wearing heavy armor, squeeze some endurance point out is okay. Cheers!

If I wanted more vigor, what stats would you take away from in order to get to either 50 or even 55 vigor? I"m still new so I need more life but I"m not sure which stats to give-up to get more vigor.
Sure thing. You can take out faith. Only keep your faith at 15 first to be able to cast Flame, Grant me Strength, then 25 to cast Golden Vow, and then 33 to cast howl of shabriri. Extra points are used to increase the added fire damage of the bloodflame blade buff, which is a small portion (it only matters later in the game).

@@casualgg which numbers are those "fire damage"? because i got some faith points (40) and my light attacks damage stays the same with the bloodflame buff
Have you upgraded your seal? The added fire damage can be seen from the equipment menu when you click on your weapon. Before bloodflame blade, fire damage should be zero. After you cast it, you will see some numbers there. If you use +10 erdtree seal with 80 Faith, the number should be 353*0.4=141 in fire damage.
60 in vigor is enough. 70 vigor won't give you much. You can choose to use the Golden Vow (Tool) with no need to have 25 faith. Just a little less damage and defense with 45 seconds duration instead of 80. Then take some points out from strength, dex, and arcane.

can you try to make a occult nagakiba? its basedamage is higher + because of the high arcane the blood effect is pretty much the same as in a blood nagakiba
Good idea. It will be a trade-off between higher damage and more blood loss buildup. For nagakiba, blood affinity has D, B, D scaling in str, dex, and arcane. Occult affinity has E, D, B scaling in str, dex, and arcane. The base damage of blood affinity and occult affinity are at 236 vs 247, and base blood loss build up 82 vs 38. I haven't done a full comparison, while blood affinity looks more appealing in this case.
@@casualgg I get your point. Back then the occult affinity had different scaling grades so it was pretty overpowered. But it got nerfed. A comparison would be great
@@sentrien3877 Agree. For the same weapon, the trade off between more damage and more bleed is always there. It also depends on the enemy's resistances. It might easier to compare between different weapons, like this one I did recently: th-cam.com/video/sr08fLtOpMU/w-d-xo.html. The difference for Nagakiba is not that obvious. I heard folks mentioning the beast claws weapon in DLC - the occult scaling has made it to have similar base damage as heavy infusion while Occult has the blood loss buildup on it.
if I go into DLC with this bleed build. do you recommend I start putting more points into vigor or endurance? Just finished my first playthrough. level 158 rn but might farm runes.
@@casualgg I smacked the DLC but did raise vigor to 60 throughout the dlc. I'm level 239 with 60 vigor, 15 mind, 26 endurance (for equipment i wanted to wear), 41 str, 80 dex, 21 int (to try new weapons), 25 faith and 55 arcane. I'll prob focus str next I assume and arcane.
@@subtlefps hey, good to know. I pretty much have vigor at 50 to 60 in the DLC. Based on your stats, yes, next would be str and arcane. You can also try increase faith to try some HP regen incantations, as there is a new bloodsucking cracked tear which increases attack power by 20% by drains 1% HP per second. Cheers!
Thank you! First, we use blood infusion on the weapon, which will give 82 blood loss buildup by default. Second, we have 55 arcane in the video, which adds the rest of the blood loss buildup to the weapon. Hope this helps.
It will be the one of your choice🙂I think I used greenburst crystal tear. It can also be stats-knot crystal tears e.g. dex or str. Or some defensive tears.
You don't need extra points in faith, maybe just 25 to cast golden vow or nothing. Then remove points from strength and dex. You can consider two-hand heavy infusion before shift to quality infusion, since you get 1.5 multiplier on the strength.
Keep strength at 12 which gives us 24 points back. Then reduce some points to intelligence (40), endurance (17) and dex(70). Make slight changes to your need.
It is not easy to tell for me. I was looking at the Maliketh fight 00:59 vs 3:41. It might be the bleed happened at different times, over time they maybe close.
@@casualgg i mean to be fair, bloodflame blade version is missing all the buffs that the blood version has but then again they're still both better than rob 🤣🤣
Google translate is awesome :) nah, str and dex are for the weapon attack rating. I put more in dex because the consecutive attacks do a lot of damage, besides bleed. Between dex and str, I would put more into dex as it scales with dex at B. What level are you at? You can have e.g. around 60 dex, and 45 arcane.
@@casualgg sorry my bad I thought you’re Chinese 🤣 I’m currently 120ish with 45 faith and 50 arcane cuz I’m doing a dragon communion Incant play through, but I’m between Nagakiba and Elonora’s pole blade for my melee weapon and I really prefer Nagakiba. @@jordanjeeva1775 It is a classic trade off imho - bleed triggers more bleed, occult has higher damage. You probably can use bleed for enemies who are not immune to bleed, and occult for enemies who are immune to bleed.

if I go into DLC with this bleed build. do you recommend I start putting more points into vigor or endurance? Just finished my first playthrough. level 158 rn but might farm runes.
Good idea on vigor. Endurance can be the second option if you farm more runes.
Cheers!
how to make bleed build up to 112 ? thank you btw
Thank you! First, we use blood infusion on the weapon, which will give 82 blood loss buildup by default. Second, we have 55 arcane in the video, which adds the rest of the blood loss buildup to the weapon. Hope this helps.
Can you tell me some stats for the bleed one at level 150?
I would take around 15 points from strength, dex and arcane.
@@casualgg thx
How would you apply seppuku to the double slash nagakiba?
In the bleed build what Is the second tear?
It will be the one of your choice🙂I think I used greenburst crystal tear. It can also be stats-knot crystal tears e.g. dex or str. Or some defensive tears.
what stats would you recommend for level 110 for bleed build
Which build?
@@casualgg the bleed build
@@eclipsedolio I would use something like this - vig 40, mind 15, endurance 17, str 20, dex 50, arcane 30, faith 7 (or no investment).
@casualgg thank you so much for that
@eclipsedolio sure thing. Cheers 🥂
So what is the best one you think
11:17 has my PoV. It depends on everyone’s style. Cheers!
Do you have a stat setup for a level 100 electric build for the nagakiba
You don't need extra points in faith, maybe just 25 to cast golden vow or nothing. Then remove points from strength and dex. You can consider two-hand heavy infusion before shift to quality infusion, since you get 1.5 multiplier on the strength.
@@casualgg thanks but when you say you don’t need points into faith why did the lightning build have so much faith in your video?
@@duvalrider1140 Faith is for the Electrify Armament buff. It is less of priority at early level. Hope this helps.
@@casualggoh thanks
HI i have a question. which is the best for you ? and nice video man
Thanks. I mentioned it at 11:17. Hope that is helpful. Bloodflame blade version is still my favorite even though it is not the highest damage version.
God give me flame and golden vow adds even more damage to the first build
Yup, but we can only choose either golden vow or bloodboil aromatic as they are the buffs in the same category
How is it a blood nakiba when you are just using double sash ? Wat istn a blood ash of war
We infuse the Nagakiba with blood affinity. I think we mean the same thing:-)
So i cant do one of these builds if im not ng+7 ?
Of course you can. NG+7 is a demo of how capable they are. Let me know if you need options about any build.
What stats would you recommend for a level 150 character for the cold variant?
Keep strength at 12 which gives us 24 points back. Then reduce some points to intelligence (40), endurance (17) and dex(70). Make slight changes to your need.
Bloodflame blade actually has a higher damage output than the bleed infusion
It is not easy to tell for me. I was looking at the Maliketh fight 00:59 vs 3:41. It might be the bleed happened at different times, over time they maybe close.
@@casualgg i mean to be fair, bloodflame blade version is missing all the buffs that the blood version has but then again they're still both better than rob 🤣🤣
@@wiselyx Yup for the current state of the game imho as well. Maybe DLC can bring some new elements. Can't wait!
can i use bloodflame blade on the bleed build
Bloodflame blade buff won't apply on blood infusion.
@@casualgg thank you
Can you use the blood flame with the bleed version of ngakiba
Bloodflame blade applies on standard, heavy, quality and keen (not sure if I miss any) infusions. It will not work on blood infusion.
Why quality and not keen?
When we reach to a certain level with enough points in both strength and dexterity, quality will offer higher weapon AR.
For the bleed naga, what stat would you reccomend for a level 150 character?
I would try something like this to reduce arcane to 40, str to 25 and dex to 60. It will do less damage but should be okay.
@@casualgg thank you!
what are your stats ?
I think they are included in the video for each build, but which build are you looking for?
You can't use incantations and ash of wars together, this has been patched
I am not sure what incantation and ash of war together. Can you share more?
nagakiba必须得有80 Dex吗😭 我为了高Arcane高Faith现在只有20 Dex和15 strength
If you suggest i need to respec my stats I can do that too to reach maximize my melee damage
lol, if you have a lava tear, respect some faith points into dex and you are good to go 👍
Is bloodflame version or bleed version better?
Not easy to say depending on the situation - I prefer bloodflame as for the visual effect, bleed version has slight higher damage.
@@casualgg and do you think for bleed version occult nagakiba is better than blood nagakiba?
@@jordanjeeva1775 It is a classic trade off imho - bleed triggers more bleed, occult has higher damage. You probably can use bleed for enemies who are not immune to bleed, and occult for enemies who are immune to bleed.
rhadonk😭😭
