I recall that I picked ele ailment threshold in normal and chaos res in cruel.

Physical dps is the one matters most imo. How are your crit chance and crit damage looking like? Need to get crit damage on the weapon, and crit chance and damage on the jewels.

@@WolfTheOne That 's 200% less than in the video... Depending on what we do, we may not need that much dps. For example, when we are farming to gear up for pinnacles bosses, we won't focus too much on dps, as long as our clearing speed is fine, that's okay.

There are 3 small passive tree node at the right bottom of the tree to reduce spirit reservation by 18%

The skill is called ice strike, while my character in the game always shouts out "Freezing Strike", LoL.

Maxed it out at the end of NG+2.

The hybrid gets to 5.3k pool (HP and ES), which cannibalism to get 4% life recovery on kill, which is very good for mapping. We can even find more life recovery (2% each) on jewels. All ele res and chaos res capped for now. It is not very clear to me wrt the benefit of CI for now. We can get rid of chaos res on the gear and look for ES. We may have to trade evasion with ES. When ES pool is high, we use meditate to double the pool. Currently, I don't really need to use mediate because grim feast provide the ES refill and overflow. Let me know if there is something I didn't consider. Thanks.

Thanks. I guess dps can work when we reach really really high dps, which it is a choice of play style and affordability.

I have two passive nodes which give 30% mana regen. Clarify gives 30%. And using inspiration support gem, I don't feel the mana pressure at all. I think we can even drop clarity. If we do feel it, temporarily take the Conservative Casting node on the passive tree or find mana regen on either ring or amulet (up to 69%) should be good enough.

It depends on what we do. This video is planned for harder content. E.g. We don't need to run ele invocation if the altas boss tree don't have like 4 difficulty points etc.

Using notable called resonance and combat frenzy skill gem. When we freeze enemies, we gain frenzy charges which are converted to power charges by the notable.

I can't remember exactly, but should be around 16 or 17.

Hey, we use the high ER and ES chest together with Lead me Through Grace ascendancy point to get us a ton of spirit!

I bet he won't do anything under the fan's control. He is aggressive to turn into eagle or use his dog whenever we transform. If you try to use the same approach in the video, I don't think he can do anything, while we need a few times to try to make it work. Cheers!

Good question. Many pieces of the gear were obtained as we progress, and they are not optimized yet. The market could shifted a bit. The biggest investment so far probably is the weapon which costs around 30 divs I think. While if we are on budget, we can just focus on physical dps to have much much cheaper options. In my previous mapping build video, around 5 divs can get us comfortable to start T15+ maps. For jewels, I got them early and find two mods that are useful to me and slam exalt on them to try luck. If we have budget, we can get even better weapon, and more flat damage on ring, amulet, glove, and I want to get Ingenuity belt and many more to test. Open to suggestion!

id say you dont need anything near that expensive to get started. I'm using a 1div staff and im clearing maps just as fast, and single target dps is maybe slightly behind, but still able to kill bosses with in 2-3 bells.

@@djake1743 True, in the "Update 2 video" of this series in the channel, we can use a 50ex staff to do content in T15 maps! This video is a plan to pushing forward to deal with harder content.

Yes, I am still using the Morior chest for farming which is very effective. My plan is to have two set of gears ready for: (1) Use the gear with 250 rarity in the last video for farming (2) Use the gear in this video for harder content and bossing. I will continue testing on various options.

It is the spiked staff (can't recall the exact name) which keep regen focus after seeing through.

There are a couple of things for the evasion I can think of: (1) Take the Subterfuge Mask from the passive tree - 1 ES on Helmet provide 2 base ER. (2) Base Evasion - The above (304*2=608), Chest (958), Beastial Skin notable (268+95, only the base I guess, 268 from Expert Waxed Jacket base, 95 flat on mod), Glove (87), left ring (72), boots (315), 608+958+268+95+87+72+315 = 2403 (3) Increase from tree - 48% from the beginning of the tree, 12% close to shimmering, 24% close to Subterfuge mask, 36% close to Spectral Ward, ascendancy points 35%, cluster of Enhanced Reflex (105%), jewel + amulet (I don't have exact number as gears changed, let's say 30%), 48+12+24+36+35+105+30 = 290% (4) Wind Dancer: more 18%3 stages (we can quality the gem up to 20% quality to have 4 stages), this is a multiplier 1.54 (5) Ascendancy node: Protect me from Harm, -40%, this is a negative multiplier, 1-0.4=0.6 So in total: 2403*(1+2.9)*1.54*0.6 = 8659, which is about the same as in the video 8602. Again, I did my best to "guess" the calculation as some mechanisms are new which needs to be validated. Hope this helps.

CI provides convenience to not looking for chaos res on the gear. While I already have chaos res capped. 1.6K life provides more EHP, and we can use cannibalism to get 4% life recovery on kill, and we can find jewels that provides 2% life recovery on kill. I feel hybrid is a better option so far. Maybe I am missing some other benefit from CI..

@ thanks man, I think hybrid is better at the end but it’s really really close and CI it’s just more smooth for gearing. Also what do you think of Hands of Wisdom and Action? Is it BIS for monk?

@@OfficialVincent It is going well so far. Hands of Wisdom should add a ton of damage. I think damage might not be an issue in the end, which defense might be. Will need to try and see.

@@OfficialVincent I guess vials are related to the venom quests. For The Venom Crypts, I picked +30% Increased Elemental Ailment Threshold in normal difficulty, and +10% Chaos Resistance in cruel difficulty.

There was no phase transition at all as he died before he had chance to do phase transition...

There are 3 nodes around Coming Calamity notable (right bottom of the tree) with each reduce reservation of heralds for 6%. It seems putting e.g. cannibalism into herald can save the spirit as well. I also chose only one from Grim feast (for mapping) and ghost dance (for boss).

this is exactly the question i have too. bought a very exopensive chest, actually im 17 spirit short 😞

@@softwoolf1537 Sure thing. We have dropped some ER and ES on our chest so we have less spirit. I choose to drop the blasphemy set up. For farming currency, grim feast should be very good. We don't really need to change to ghost dance at all in my experience.

Thank you. It is bcz of the gem requirement such as grim feast. With current INT, I can still only use lvl 17 gem. INT helps with mana and energy shield as well. If later we want to use the gloves (sry I forgot the name) which adds flat lightning dmg based on INT, we are ready:-)

It is the Nullifier weapon effect, which I got in PoE1 back in the day🙂

We need to get resonance after we have combat frenzy. Combat frenzy gerates frenzy charges, and resonance converts them to power charges, which increases our crit and also allow us to use charged staff skill. So no rush to get it before we have combat frenzy.

@@sewer5800 Herald of Ice for damage. You won't die easily there, but need clear speed to go fast. If you need defense, grim feast for mobs, and ghost dance for boss which ever you have trouble with.

Just in case in the trade system, choose the currency to be Exalted instead of relative, I have been it is around 10 exa now

That's true. Happened around this weekend. At this stage, one of the reasons could be folks started divine the perfect gears. I recall in PoE1, the ration can go around 200...

yes that's not because div are getting more expensive, it's because exalted are getting more worthless. there's not many mechanics in this game to dump exalted and players are getting more and more exalted drops. the quantity of exalted has been increasing globally by a lot, there's just too many out there but the quantity of divines have not gone up too much. the big reason for this is that majority of players have not yet reached end game thus their chances of seeing divines are drastically lower but all players of almost every level are getting exalted drops.

@@andoryuslike 90percent of players still wont see divs after getting to endgame tbh its hard to stack rarity cuz items with rarity are expensive af and with 64 rarity ive only seen two dropped and im playing t15 maps with tons of modifiers
