Get you an easy bake. I know it's not exactly the same, but it feels a lot less likely to melt than the ones in game lol
To model cc you really only need blender version 2.7 and sims studio! Getting started modelling meshes is kinda hard in the beginning but there are a lot of really good tutorials available. You mostly just start with a cube and extract new pieces to get the rough shape. After that you can sculpt it with brushes to make the modell even more detailed. You can make the textures in Blender or in Photoshop. I hope that helps for the beginning. I would love to help if you have more questions. :D

@@bigwelp3870 Exactly. I alternate too. If I workout or do outdoorsy stuff or if I’m shampooing my hair I shower. Otherwise I take a bath and it’s lovely. Poor bath haters don’t know what they’re missing ☹️
I FEEL SEEN lol. I'm always telling this to people. Plus baths calm me so much and for whatever reason when my depression gets bad taking a shower feels really overwhelming, but I can almost always manage a bath.
Also if there so bothered by their dirt: make the Japanese approach. First shower shortly and clean yourself, then put yourself in the sweet sweet embrace of warm water.
i feel like 70% more cleaner after a bath, compared to a shower. its also so damn good when youre sore or need to relax your muscles, honestly a life saver after work! not to mention being able to read or chill with some music?? amazing.

Should turn this into a game of telephone. One simmer builds something in TS1 (and in TS4, but keeps the reveal to themselves), a different simmer tries to build the same thing but in TS2, and so on, then at the end, the original simmer reveals and compares their TS4 final form to the "telephone" TS4 final form.
Don’t get me wrong, absolutely terrified of ghosts but I’m on the edge of my seat with excitement to finally see a 2020 ghost thats vaping and doing tiktok dances.

I am old enough to have played Sims 1 extensively and then had the magic experience of upgrading to Sims 2 when if first came out. The ability to suddenly be able to zoom right inside your Sims head was mind-blowing, haha.
“Siding” is the word you’re looking for with the Americans.
Doing the alternate tiles and feeling amazing, is absolutely what I did in the Sims 1, and I thought I was the most creative person! So funny to look back at it.

I like "The Naughties". Also, just looked up "naught", and apparently the American is "nought", but since I'm Australian, I prefer the British English, especially since it matches "naughty", and the amusement of calling the 2000s the naughty decade is fun.
Chessboards IRL - Sims chessboards are tables. That fancy! You know what a working-class chessboard is? Thick card with the squares in glossy layer. More than likely it folds in half for storage. The pieces are plastic.
Even most IRL collectable chess sets I see in game stores are not tables, but the boards are more solid materials, like solid wood with, if pretty fancy, stone inlays and metallic edging between. One fancy style I know of is a sheet of glass with the squares marked out by frosting. Pieces can be fancy wood, glass, metal, stone. Sets like that probably cost hundreds if not thousands of dollars. One nice type is the board is the top of a box with drawers where the pieces are stored.
TL;DR, Sims chess sets are fancier than IRL chess sets because they are tables, but IRL chess sets come in all sorts of price ranges.
Right after you finish talking about how baths are where you fully decompress I get an add for bed bath & beyond 😹

I'm Polish and I've lived in UK for like 12 years.
I'm always so in awe at how British homeowners will own these beautiful houses
but then have it look like absolute shit because of the furniture.
Family fun stuff and glamour life were my absolute favorites!
The Sims team loves bares but hates alcohol (cus of the game rating, I know)... so the amount of bars is sending me some mixed messages

I only ever had Sims 1 and 2 for console, eventually got 3 for console and waaaay later got 3 for PC (which was feckin' eye-opening, let me tell you). Sims 3 for PC is still my favorite when it comes to gameplay and the world(s) in general, but yeah, I feel like I missed out a lot on the PC editions of the earlier games, which are now difficult to purchase. I kinda wanna try Sims 1 again on the old XBox but man that poor thing's disc drive is reeeally noisy.
I *did* replay the Sims 2 console story campaign from start to finish a few years ago and oh my gods that has not aged well, and I forgot how flippin hard the last level is, especially if you don't realize the main father character has hellacious wish requirements in his endgame related to having x amounts of friends. By the time you realize it, his friendships have deteriorated quite a bit (assuming you've been ignoring socializing) and raising friendship levels with that many people, going to work, and keeping needs up all at the same time is a massive pain in the arse.

Not everyone can afford a shower. I live in a very old house that never had a shower fitted and just can't afford to have my bathroom redone to accommodate a shower. Baths can 100% be for washing, I'm not unhygienic for it and I hate when people try to shame others for it, especially when we have people who don't do either.
@@emmajackson1988First off, yes baths can be totally hygienic, no one should be shamed for bathing instead of showering or whatever order they choose (i personally shower after a bath).
Also, it's pretty interesting in places with very old houses, it's more affordable to have a bath. I never thought of that before. In my country, there are basically no old houses left in the city (where i live), so baths are considered a luxury.
@@emmajackson1988 We just replaced the tap in the bath with one that has a fitting for a hose for the shower head, it has a valve to swap between the tap and the shower head. Wasn't expensive - could that be an alternative for you?
