Did you have to remove your back rack for marking your locations? That appears to be the toughest part - just hard to get to. Another guy states he removed the back rack altogether, flipped it upside down and then made the marks. I plan to install mine this weekend.

I didn't remove the rack. It is a tough angle to mark especially with large hands. I was able to hold on to the very end of the marking pen and make it work.
