I agree. Wiring instructions are lacking. The video mentions Aux switch only controls the jack, not the audio box. The written instructions state that the Aux switch does control the audio box. Which is correct? Are there 2 ways of wiring this thing? It would be nice if it didn’t require the ignition switch to be on. Thanks!

Hello! Ordered April 7, 2021 and received June 30, 2021. Just finished installation to 2021 Polaris Sportsman 450 per This Video and Direction provided. There is a discrepancy … The Video speaks of connecting to Key On Power but the Directions instruct to connect directly to Power. Any Help would be Greatly appreciated. Thanks! - Update: Figured it out. There is a Quick Connect. FYI … no big deal but Had to remove battery because of tight fit. Works Great thus far.

Hi. I bought one of these last week. The video speaks of pre-drilled holes. Mine did not come with any pre-drilled holes which was really odd. Made for a much longer install at the dealer at 125.00/hr. Also the hole in the chassis needed to rout the wire to the harness via the grommet was drilled too large (by the installer at a polaris dealer) and now the grommet just falls through the hole. Does Polaris suggest any larger grommets we could use ? One more thing. I ordered the 90.00 remote control for it which completley conflicts with the ride command control on the disply. I suppose it is a nice to have for the non-ride command model. Dealer let me return that for a full refund. all in all, I'm very happy with it. I has a lot of storage and having music like that either while riding or stopped at a rest area during a long ride is a very nice option.

You say to "ensure it is working" but provide no instructions on how to use, or connect to it in this video or in the printed instructions. There are zero controls or lights on the box to indicate if it's even on, or has power. I bought this and the remote, and have yet to see it work. Rockford Fosgate refused to help and referred me to Polaris. I've got calls into both the local dealer and corporate Polaris; neither could help immediately, and I'm still waiting for a return call. For something that costs over $600, this is totally unacceptable!

I’ve now figured out the problem on my own. The rear power harness was installed by the dealer when I bought the machine. They neglected to connect the “key on” wire. Once I connected that, I was able to find the rear audio box via Bluetooth from my phone. Note that I did attempt to contact the dealer for help as well; they were unable to help immediately, and said I’d receive a call back. I’m still waiting for that return call. I also contacted Polaris customer service, and they were unable to help thus far.
I still want you to have some constructive feedback on a few misses regarding this device:
The printed instructions lack any information about how to connect with, and operate the speakers.
This TH-cam video produced by Polaris lacks any information about how to connect with, and operate the speakers.
The speaker box does not have any power on/off buttons, nor any lights indicating they’re actually on.
The speaker box is “always on” when the machine is on; there should be a power on/off switch for it.
The rear harness instructions neglect to inform that the “Aux” button does nothing to turn the speakers on/off; it only operates the additional outlet included on the harness at the rear of the machine.
Now that I’ve finally been able to use it, I do want to note that it does sound great!

Check out my comment. Found Directions to be a little confusing as well.

Yes I just got the speaker box also. I look at the power harness and it looks like what was on it when I bought the new 570 can anyone let me know before I take the installed harness out. Thanks
