Saw a docu about highly talented kids a few minutes ago on YT. He met streisand with 18 and she protevted him. She was a talented kid, too. Forced by her mom. Joshs Burnout period reminds me of the preasure this kids has to stand for their career and I think, Josh is so a lucky man to get through this dark period. Now he has to prove nothing to anyone and can only sing and play what he loves :-)

Funny story! When I was in San Antonio to see Josh on tour for about the 4th or 5th time, I sat on the front row with some friends. Once the concert started, I moved further back to a row of unsold seats, thinking it wasn't a problem. But then comes Gestapo Usher Biotch to check my ticket stub. She escorted me to my seat. But you know what - that's okay - because Josh walked all the way over to the edge of the winged part of the stage and took hold of my hand while he sang. Be still my heart.
The rapid speech pattern is more characteristic of Los Angeles natives (like Josh) or New York City natives than of any other United States native English speakers. It clearly distinguishes him from folks from the "fly-over" country (Midwest and South).

I understand Josh want to get into musical theater, but Sweeney Todd is a dark message but not while im around us beautiful and I wish him the best in this endever! I just dont see him supporting this play not something I would think of him involved with! Sorry to say.
Great accompanist! But the tempo is way too fast. And I would’ve preferred he hadn’t rewritten melody & changed notes, especially at the end. Such a gorgeous song, it survives the unnecessary alterations.

He's a baritone, lead romantic roles are usually reserved for tenors. But he could probably sing a bari-tenor role, those can be romantic leads.
