I don't have a clue what he's singing but I cried terribly. The violinist was INCREDIBLE!!! I snuck behind stage to watch my grandson play once because his father (ex son-in-law) didn't want me to see him play the violin...a teacher got me behind the curtain, it was right where he was sitting. He just happened to look to the side and saw me, but held my finger up to my mouth as to say, shhhhh. I don't what he played, but he played with such feeling like the young lady in this song. I'm 65 and will NEVER forget that day. As he left the stage we both lipped & signed I love you as I put my hand over my heart. I left without seeing him to tell him how proud I was of his ability. But he knew & he was happy I was there, his only loving Grammy. His father never knew I was there. If he had, he would have hurt my grandson, but found out later, his father never knew. Don't ever let anyone hurt a child. I tried to get him, but they gave him back time & again. He's 18 now, very unsure of himself no matter what I tell him. He's so afraid to live & love life. Praying he will come be with me so I can free him from negativity & lies. Luckily we talk now, Thank u God! I'm going to ask him to learn this for me. How does one describe...PERFECTION. The first time I heard this (earlier this year), I cried. I don't understand Italian. It moved my soul like nothing else has in my entire life. I know no one will believe me when I say, it was if I knew what note was going to be played next throughout the entire performance; yet, I had never heard it before. This happens to me with certain melodies and I have no idea why, nor can I explain just how it feels when it happens. I heard the English version and did not like it.... Again, why? How can one song be so very different to a person, to their soul? Josh Groban is a master. He's been so blessed yet deals with depression and anxiety, so they say. This I don't understand either. Unless its the pressures of fame at such a young age. People expecting perfection constantly. Thank you so much for recording it. It was a rehearsal. But thanks to him or her who did it we have the opportunity to watch this amazing video. Looking to Lucia Micarelli expression while playing her part is so touching one could never forget. Josh sings like his partner had just gone. It couldn't be more expressive, more heartfelt. The day my former flute teacher showed me this video for the first time was a date to remember. For the past 4 years I lost count on how many times I stopped everything I was doing and watched it. It's like a pill of: it's worthing living.
