Sometimes it is the drops that breaks more things because accidents happen less often. Learning how to fix things give you the chance to understand the bike more and then the first time fear is not there. Good go at it!!

I survived forever without a torque wrench, but they're $50 here in Canada on sale. Finally took a trip to Michigan and got a harbor freight one for $20. Why not at that price.
Most threads are left hand Threads, but the mirror threads on one some brands of Motorcycles are Right hand threads.. they look funky. You need some grubby clothes for working on Bikes . If you bike was greasy, you sure don't want to get grease and dirt on Armored riding gear. You Probably could get a raised seat for your bike for Tall People . I really like Double Take Mirrors. The Trick is to not tighten the Ram Mounts too tight. That way they can fold if you crash and not break.
I loved that image of you reaching around the other side of your motorcycle while you were tightening these bolts. Did Josh buy you a torque? I’m sure there’s a specific amount of lbs/pressure you have to put on that bolt when you set it back in. Enjoy your bike! Watch it with those long hair and nails when you’re in the shop! 😁
A good rule of thumb is to always loosen and tighten the nut not the bolt. Always hold the bolt head while you turn the nut. It is usually easier to loosen the nut, especially when you have tension on the bolt, such as the engine mount bolt.
Yo Ellie, no problem. I knew you could do it. 👍 You have the Bestest Motorsickle for sneaking up on parking spots ever LOL. OMG that bacon 😋 You Meet the Nicest People on a Honda Fury. Keep the Shiny Side Up. ✌️😘❤️😎🇺🇸
If i may say Miss Ellie .i must commend you on your riding apparel choice's .Kevlar jeans ,a good jacket .. good footwear .. gloves. and if i also point out ,hee other ladies in Joshs posse, could take a lesson or too on that lol. and i sure they know who they are 😉🏍🏍
I need to go back and watch some of your videos to see what you did to make the bikes comfortable for you to ride. I'm 6'7", not as tall as you, and haven't found a bike I was comfortable on. Keep on riding, pretty lady!
I’m 6’5” with a 38”inseam, I didn’t do anything special to the Himalayan but it has a seat height of 31.5” and that’s pretty tall for some people (but still sorta short for me 😅) but! If I do anything to adapt it to tall needs, I will definitely make a video about it!
Ellie that’s so cool and really great job working on your motorcycle 🏍️. I have much respect and gratitude for you because there no better feeling than knowing that you got get it done. Ohh you look very nice 👍🏾 in your outfit. PS Great Legs and have much fun with running it. Okay 💯💙💯😉
'Handvast'/'gut und tight' works fine, but you have to get a feel for it over time. We all made that mistake once or twice. Liked this video, us tall ones got to stick together.😁 P.s. i did notice tall girls don't have such big feet as tall men, i have 13s.
I think a lot of tall girls have huge feet too but mine are specifically proportionally tiny at a men’s 8, super small for 6’5”. I think it’s why I’m clumsy and fall a lot 😅
Always so happy to see a new Ellie vid. I'm new to riding as well and so these vids of you learning to not only ride but wrench are my jam. Glad you were able to summon Josh as well. I think he's such a great teacher because he remembers that everyone starts somewhere and he teaches from your starting point, not where his experience is. It's great to see in any teacher and it's something I've noticed a lot of people teaching forget. We all had to start somewhere. Please keep making these. They're great and you're gorgeous. Don't let the little internet trolls ever get to you. Josh is right about them, 100%.
I like the looks of the RE Himalayan but not the specs....Wish it had more power, like 60-ish HP & a 6th OD gear for better hwy mpgs. To be a more of a mid size bike. Not sure about the FI either a water cooled but carbureted bike would be easier to diy.
People who call you anorectic probably never seen an anorectic person. I'd always assumed you were naturally thin like most really tall people cause you don't have any of the features of an anorectic person lite the hollow cheeks sunken in eyes and so on. And I see you more like a volley ball player than a basket player. Less physical contact in volley ball. Marfans?
Nothing makes you value a torque wrench faster than that sick feeling of a bolt getting tight, tighter, real tight, then loose.
Ooh that’s what happened when I tried to install my new mirrors the first time! 😂
When it gets tighter, tighter... then loose. You just back kit off an eight of a turn and it'll be okay. .:P
Haha awe you're so cute for a giant 😂 Seriously tho, you're lucky to have a friend like Josh who can help and teach you!
What a Gem. Nice to see a real lady once in a while

Nothing more satisfying than the click of a torque wrench
You and Josh did a great job on your RE. Well done and big thanks pretty girl!!

Those wrenching muscles 🤟👽🔧💪
Now would be a good time to put a heli-coil in that stripped out mirror mount :) Shadetree should be very familiar with the process :D
Ellie you are blessed to have Josh to come give a hand with your repairs and to be your camera man. Great video y’all. Long tall and deadly for sure.
Torque wrench always
👍👍 reminder to all
Wrenching on your bike. Makes it more like its part of you. Have fun and stay safe.

Your doing great , both in your motorcycle riding abilities and the videos keep getting better. Keep on moving ahead.
Working on your own ride. Good job. Josh. Is rich. Am gonna try to go on one of the campouts for forgotten angels in the future. Have a nice week

I enjoyed that 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳
gutentight torqued to spec or cross threaded, tight is tight...
ellie I can't even barely sit on a himalayan with the center stand on. Yet you stood right over it lol.
Great job getting hands on your own repairs
I’ve always done minor maintenance (bulbs and filters etc) on my cars so it feels right to work on my bike 😊
both work
Testing testing
A pretty girl wrenching on her own motorcycle is so sexy! Good guidance Josh!
install hand guards if the bike falls over it keeps the levers from snapping off
Wow!! That's Kool shaderee comes in for the rescue. Love your Himalayan motorcycle is it 500cc.
It’s 411 cc! Maxes out at like 75 mph but it works really well for me ☺️

Do the right thing and get a torque wrench; I didn't 😂
Which types of motor bikes do you prefer to drive? Which is your favourite type?
I haven’t tried a ton yet but I like adventure bikes a lot so far!

VOTE = it is a METRIC / HIMY = Ellie needs a TORQUE WRENCH !

A torque in time can save nine! (or something like that)
GIVI has the Worlds worst Instructions. I just use the schematics, which also are tiny and poor.
What is the top speed you have done on this bike? How was it in the mountains with Shade Tree...Josh?
Not even trying to be funny but it only goes the speed limit 😂 I think maybeeee 75 downhill if I tried really hard and asked it nicely
Gotta test your work right 😂
a superbeautiful supergirl who likes to put hands on a motorcycle...I0m dreaming and it is a amazing dream, SuperEllie, almost like you...🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
but can i eat the silica gel ?
Omg I joke about “tasty organic home-grown” silica gel packets all the time haha maybe just a little as a treat 😊
Happy Birthday Weekend Ellie!!!!
It was a super happy birthday weekend 🥳

lol I thought I was typng this in the live chat.....
No torque wrench needed only for engine work
Broken parts just build character
They make my bike unique and special to me 🥳
And deplete bank accounts...😃
super hot woman😍
Guttentyte
Torque wrenches are for quitters
Locate zip ties and friends fix everything.
She should get it cause you won’t be around all the time.
You don’t think shadetree will get on a plane and come visit any time I need to make sure a bolt is tight enough? 🤣 I do need one you’re right haha
