- Sixty-eight per cent of Canadians want Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to step down, according to Ipsos polling exclusively done for Global News. The desire for him to call it quits is highest in Alberta (79 per cent) and Atlantic Canada (76 per cent.)
"This is as bad as we’ve seen it for Trudeau. It’s close to rock bottom," Ipsos CEO Darrell Bricker said.
Ipsos surveyed 1,001 Canadians between June 12 and 14 and found that if an election were held tomorrow, the Conservatives would enjoy a “comfortable victory” with 42 per cent of the decided vote. The Liberals would receive 24 per cent, with the NDP at 18 per cent.

I have a journeyman red seal trade for almost 10 years now, and my wife is a teacher… we cannot afford a house. We feel all our tax money is providing for people that don’t want to work and know that this government will take care of them on our dime. Lately giving money away to other countries, atrocious government overspending , and immigration are the main contributing factors. We the working people cannot afford to keep this up… Canada is just not that big, the numbers don’t support it.

Thanks to this government, I am without a job. I will be on the street starting on September 1, because I received an eviction due to selling house by owner. System change is needed and that starts from the bottom-up, grassroots local level in worker co-operatives and mutual aid, other than those types of developments, nothing is going to get better. Canadian Fed election isn't for over a year. That gives people and communities time to build a better system and can educate each other better too to realize the politicians and mainstream parties aren't here to save us, they are guardians of the capitalist world order and we need to recognize that if we want to change for the better.
