Thanks;) I guess it is just years of practice and chilling in between thinner layers. Knowing when to set it aside to chill and take another go at it is hard!

I tried this design a while back for my daughters birthday and it never worked for me 😂 but I think I definitely over thought it! I will try giving it another go one day though. Another wonderful cake. Designs that i love just wish my buttercream cover was as smooth as yours. Decorating i can do no problem but struggle with applying and smoothing the buttercream 🙄😬

I have been there too! Have you tri3d working with plexiglass disc's? Those helped me a lot in the past.
