My dad got us into the GM employee lounge and it was fabulous. So quiet with a fantastic view of the park. Everyone there was so nice, clean bathrooms, free beverages and snacks, front of the line access to the attraction, and bonus: they were able to update my dads employee card. He was so proud to get us into such as exclusive area. Great memory!
Those VIP lounges, back in the day, were great. I used to work for Exxon and, the first time I went there, the company got us passes for the Exxon lounge and a couple of others. A nice touch.
Not for nothing but, I really liked the educational aspect that EPCOT kinda still has. It certainly can be made interesting, Living on the Land is very interesting to me.
Yeah, I used to use that to justify pulling my kid out of school for 2 weeks when he was younger.
I love the educational underlayment to epcot
Sad that it's slowly dying, though.
The most underrated thing in Epcot (and maybe all of Disney World) is the Voices of Liberty. They do shows in the rotunda of the American Adventure. Every 45 minutes starting at 11:15... Seriously incredible!
Forgive me for this but I REALLY appreciate knowing all the “poop in private” bathrooms. There’s nothing worse than being stomach sick in the summer heat and having to share a space with strangers. Seriously though, thank you.
Believe it or not my wife and I will bring our own TP with us into the parks. Much better than the 2 inch wide less than single sheet used by WDW.
I’m going in two weeks! Can’t wait! I have been binging DFB in preparation 😎
A great idea--this is one of the very best sources. And very entertaining as well.
Me too buddy, so if you see a tired man with a glow in the dark Epcot shirt, just know I'm trying my best.
@@IAmPorkchop 😂
@@IAmPorkchopTired I understand; wife and I had to use Scooters last time. Having Neurosurgery in a month; maybe I'll be able to walk part of EPCOT before I collapse.
Bhaiya log sab log AK baar support karke 1k karba dijgye na plz nhi to monetize nhi hoga😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
Epcot is my favorite park. It offers the most activities and great rides and shopping.
💯 % agree!
Agree, Guardians is hands down the best ride at Disney World.............Best drinks too :)
Animal Kingdom is a very close second, especially with the Flight of Passage ride and the live animals.
The very first time I went to Florida back in 2005 my family went to Epcot. One of the fond memories I have is doing the rocket race after going on space simulators. I remember me my dad and brother got the huge screen at the front and our team won. Makes me smile every time I think about it. It’s one of the few things that I still remember about that day.
I’m ur biggest fan … I love watching ur videos at night time relaxes me after a long day
31:26 That's the Disneyland Paris CM that was on Chris Provost's recent video!
That Visa card photo spot… thank you so so much for letting us know about this 🙏🙏🙏
I did my DCP at Epcot and worked Future World Merch- I frequently spent time down in the EPCOT tunnels ❤️ and have fun memories of them! I also wanted to add there is a conference room for cast member meetings above garden grill and living with the land. You can see the room from the ride as well (I believe it was over the farm scene). I always look for it now that I know it’s there.
This video is so awesome! I will be there in about three weeks, and I am so excited!
Have fun!
I love love love this breakdown and love how yall have already made me an Epcot expert for each visit!!!! I always learn something new and of course there’s never enough time at Disney!!!
Lol, anyone else catch two of Provost Park Pass’s French cast member friends from DLP exiting the Christmas shop? Cute ;) 31:21
I’ve always loved Living with the Land. I wish I had the spare time to take a Behind the Seeds tour.
My favorite park for so many reasons!
I did Guardians 5 times IN A ROW during an After Hours. Yes, I was a tiny queasy at the end but it was fabulous!
But how many times did you get the song “Conga?” 🎶
My family has the pickle ornament tradition, but I had no idea it was German. That's really cool to see Disney doing
I found hidden characters in my last trip that I never knew were there! Uncle Waldo in France, Abu in Morocco, Pascal in Germany, Little Brother in China, to name a few!
I believe those were part of the Festival of the Arts. My wife and I spent a good portion of two days tracking them all down. Each country had at least one.
I'm going to Epcot for the first time next week! ❤
The "Forgetful Troll" is actually based on a Norwegian folk lore. If you ask the CM's about the story of the troll, they'll tell you. It was such a a cool story & it wasn't about coming alive at night.
ooh i’ll try to remember that for my trip in june
Can’t wait for my trip in September
Same here!
Omg does anyone know where that adorable pink frog stuffed animal can be bought????
In september 2023 my husband and i got to name the troll :) it was unexpected, and so cute and fun!
Those poor dolphins 😢wish they would get rid of that aspect of Epcot!
In the 90s my kids loved doing the World Showcase passports.
It is great that you, as their father, got them to have that experience.
@@perfesser944 I'm their mother, lol.
@@IamSnowbird My mistake, sorry. It is still quite great.
MORE of these kind of videos!!! Pls 🙏 I had uh...a friend who used to take uh...lysergic acid diethylamide and hang out on those twinkly sidewalks way back in the day. Fiber optics used like that was still pretty new and we thought it was the coolest thing that ever existed.
FYI just went to Monsieur Paul last month and saw a guest in a baseball cap, tshirt, and basketball shorts. I was a little surprised!
I'm literally going to Florida in 7 days and we're going to epcot. I CAN'T WAITTTT!!!!!
Iv only been to World Showcase twice but just as a little kid and a teenager. I want to come back but times are very hard. I just wish that someone had a really long in depth video/tour of everything in World Showcase.
I don’t think it was even so much a mash up. As I brit I know there are pubs in uk Called “the rose & crown”. Some other popular ones are : the 3 horse shoes, the white horse, the red lion, the white lion, the crown, the white heart, the plough, the swan, the bell 🔔, the Royal Oak.
Would you happen to know if you can arrive at boardwalk inn by Uber, use the walkthrough and rope drop through international gateway? I have an early reservation to Arkeshus and don’t want the risk to lose it 😢
I’m still trying to figure out why they use Battlestar Galactica in the music for Soarin’... lol
Lots of good tips here, many I knew and some I’ll use next go.
My last trip to Disney I got one thing from every gift shop in the World Showcase except Morocco. Mostly cuz I got to the gift shop a couple minutes before they started closing up for the fireworks so I didn’t want to be rude and stick around too long and nothing was really catching my eye right away. I’d gone back on our AK day after having a nap back at the hotel after lunch (I’d gotten a bit too overheated; the waitress at Rainforest Cafe was a real sweetheart because she brought me a water very shortly after we were seated at our table).
The plan was that I’d hit the shops I didn’t get to on our Epcot day and catch the fireworks after. I was speeding through but it just took a lot of time to get to Morocco from the International Gateway cuz I started with the UK since I’d gone to the France one already and just circled around. Even skipping Germany and Japan since I’d gone to those shops already as well I just barely made it in before closing. Suppose I could have started with Morocco and had a bit more time to browse since most all of what I got at the other gift shops were t-shirts anyway. Can never have enough t-shirts haha 😅
Though okay _technically_ I got more than one thing from Japan’s gift shop because I bought souviners for a friend of mine as well as something for myself but that doesn’t count.
Are the Disney visa meet and greet pictures watermarked?
Was so excited at grabbing a space 220 reservation for my trip last dec. Boy was I disappointed due to the environment populated with kids running around . Did they have any parental supervision? I think not.
I’ve seen that house when at garden grill years ago in the 80’s
I have only seen the Canada to Morocco boats for a few years, do they still run the Mexico-Germany boats?
I was thinking the same thing! I was just there last week and I don’t think the Germany side boats have been running for years.
Was that Steven Seagall at 18:39?
Has anyone ever managed 3 parks in one day? I’m getting ambitious on my upcoming trip and wanted to try hitting AK, HS, and EPCOT one after the other
This past December we did MK in Am, after lunch went to AK then took bus to Riviera and Skyliner to Epcot! We had a blast.
Emma from All Ears sighting! 😀
And Fry Bucket too.
I must have missed Fry!
Oh please PLEASE tell us where those lilac flower Minnie ears were found?! 🌼
I saw them very recently in the France pavilion store.
@@joyRM8 Thank you!
I am the same way with restrooms
To me the most beautiful restrooms are the Tangle theme & Pirates of the Caribbean theme
FYI 🐬 Dolphins in Depth does not require a Theme Park admission ticket. Yay!
Did not know that the photo spot near imagination was limited to Disney cardholders. We were lucky enough to get formal Mickey and Minnie here in early March 2024. They never checked.
You can actually buy both a real sword and a new car in EPCOT.
I got my Tomorrowland pin from the dealership at Test Track. This was in 2012 though and they weren’t doing it this past go.
I can spend all day in the World Showcase, and I can spend at least 25% of it in China looking through the shop and enjoying the performers.
161 days until our trip!
The rosewalk is closed. You have to walk through the middle.
Im a CM and ive been in the tunnel but only one part of it
We’ll be there in eleven days.
So excited for my trip this year with all the updates (also, cellar is pronounced she-lr)
EPCOT is a shadow of what it once was. This used to be a magnificent place. Now, nope.
Epcot was my favorite park. I was at Disney World last year for the first time in several years. I was disappointed in Epcot. The countries are all themed after movie characters rather than the countries themselves. There were no street entertainers in any of the nations. What was The Living Seas is a B grade version of what it used to be. Disney is no longer bringing out its best. I going again late next year with my son's family. I hope they get their act together by then.
You do not need an epcot entrance ticket for dive quest if all you want to do is dive the tank
144 days to go til our 10 day trip
👂👀👂
I'm sorry
Can DFB use this platform to raise awareness to Disney about the disappointment of long-time customers who are being "shut out" from being able to reserve the Cabins at Fort Wilderness? Since the replacement of the actual cabins with apartment-style boxes, allowing DVC timeshare to have preference, the non-DVC folks have limited opportunity to reserve.
It’s cheaper to swim with the dolphins at sea world
Not if you add the additional park ticket to Sea World and the cost and time to travel to there and back to Epcot.
Discovery Cove is better for swimming with sea critters
Most of us have families and are crazy busy. Love the videos but time stamps would be really appreciated.
good lord, how many times are you gonna comment the same thing on every video? LOL
Seriously?
I’ve commented a total of 2 times !
Hi. Looks like someone put the time stamps in another comment
