really close to the build I roll on Gideon Health is for sure the best option to build on him rather than worrying about both armor types . great video brother
not really, his build lacks a lot of cooldowns and with a armor card you can build cooldowns as well, idk the card name
Gonçalo Ramalho you dont need cooldown with gideon. also with as much health as he has you dont need armor. play safe and you wont have any issues as he explains
yes you need, i build cooldown and i am always in every team fight using my ult and if i have armor i don t need that much health, however i only choose gideon when there is no enemy that can counter my ult, with cooldowns i just use my ult all the time and its a easy game
If you play high MMR games, you always have someone on the enemy team with CC so does that mean I never pick Gideon when I play the top 100 players? Nope. You have to build to counter this issue. Armor is too much to invest in on Gideon, ruins the burst on his Q
i only said when i like to play him, there are a lot of heroes to choose and i don t main no hero, i like to play all of them and when i have those conditions of no counters i play him, i know what you are saying but a 300 upgrade of health means little when a carry just takes 300 of health with one basic attack, still i think your build is good and you can destroy enemys with his ult, you play against top players so that means that you are good and your teammates too, i only play normal pvp, when your teammates are bad sometimes and they don t support you, so i have less damage and more armor
Just tried this build, changed some things to fit my taste but mostly untouched, loved it, i was tanky as hell and kicked like a mule, thanks for the build.

Hey RGSACE solid vid as usual. As a player who has put over 250 hours in gid, I completely agree with your build. The only thing I do differently is put in a Ring of the Domina in place of the Amulet of the Veteran, that really lets me quickly push lanes especially mid game. I do have one question for you though. Have you tried Hydroverser on him? I finally got the card last week and tried adjusting my kit around it and not sure if it fits my playstyle, I was wondering your opinion. Thanks!
Do you think that epic should implement a way to make it easier to remember build paths? I love getting early power spikes with minor but I rarely remember what I have to sell and buy

I use hydroverser on any caster that can use it since casters need lots of mana might as well take advantage of all that mana
Hydrover and mind flow builds are the way to go
The cdr and endless mana pool are priceless over 25 pts of damage

my main 3 is use on a deck is hydroverser, infinity stream, mindflow fallowed up by 2 chrono spikes lords ward n some other cards building on energy damage n mana

I've been trying to get a Shadow Scroll for forever and no luck. I've had to substitute Magna-Lens for the energy pen which isn't bad with a little mana regen. I recently pulled Shockwave, what is your opinion on it with his ult? In my first match with it in my deck I got a triple kill with it at prime by porting in>shockwave>ult. Kinda OP to be honest.
Lol I just hit 14 days played opening a shit load of card packs throughout that time and I still have 0 cast tokens
john smith you could try leveling up your heroes to lvl 4 use the ones that you love playing as
Magna-Lens is what i use and with Gideon you don t need more than a spark of 1.2, i am always full mana and then i build piercing

What is your reasoning behind using so much damage? Is it just to buff your abilities? Having a 0.4 damage scaling, I never would have thought so many points into damage cards would be the thing to do.
500 Damage on his Q at full build, dunno how thats 0.4 scaling?
Thanks for replying, I'm just trying to understand deck building in this game, was under the impression that if your auto attack had a poor damage scaling (which is the 0.4) it was a waste of card points. Clearly not, but I was wondering if it's common to stack damage for your abilities, and not worry to much about your auto.
could not agree with you more about the rotation issue. TOO many people don't pay attention to the mini map and give up a tower when taking one and most of the times it could have eaily been avoided for sure.
In the description it says that you have 2x Major Shock and 3x Major Shock in the last Shadow Scroll. So 5x Major Shock?! Lmao

I usually go for allot of cooldown with gideon. I use that Mind Flow and chrono discs. Anyone else do it like that?
yeah for Gideon and Gadget both I play with at least 20% cooldown reduction so I can spam my abilities and ult more often. 20% because if you grab the blue buff it gives 20% cdr and the cap is 40%
I guess RGSace doesn't because it would sacrifice either damange or pen, which is true, my builds run with no pen because I have to compensate for the CDR, and because of the higher CDR I require more mana or mana regen
TheJrr this is false. CDR is HARD capped at 40%, nothing will take you over 40% not the buff nor cards

its almost the same but with upgrades that cost 1 or 2 card points you can buy more cards and increasing your variety and you get more fully updrade bonuses, in some heros is good but not for every one
It's bad in the early game because if u have 3 points and spend them on 3 minor cards, like minor strikes for example, u get the same amount of physical damage as u would with a 3 point upgrade, EXCEPT u also get the fully upgraded bonus. This means you're more effective in the early game than someone building 3 cost upgrades.

Hey RGSACE, great build, but can you explain why you always use energy penetration on Gideon? What if the enemy has no energy armor? I rarely see energy armor on more than 1 person.
KingChickenwing bc all heros have a base energy and physical armor. with that one major shock, you by pass all default armor.

RGSACE So what is the scaling and minimum/maximum armor for heroes? Also, does a hero have both type of armor, or just the type of armor equal to their damage type?
KingChickenwing the only way to check the base armor is to play the character and see what they have the start. Obviously Greystone will have more base armor than, let's say, sparrow
Hey ace what do you think about the new champion, i feel like she should be a assassin but she's a burst caster, I also felt like kwang should have been a assassin but he is a fighter, come on kallari is lonely, the assassin class needs some love.
I hope the next tier 3 skin will be a cowboy twinblast(buff his ult epic).

Really, in the wiki and in the community site it said that she was a burst caster
solomon kane when they use the term caster it simply means they caster attacks for their main source of dps rather than their basic attacks and a burst caster is pretty much an assassin. they go in do mass fps to one or possibly more targets then get out.

Greystone build please
This is pretty much how you need to be playing him. Just damage and health. Focusing on damage though.
stunnerwwe9897 I play him with tons of damage plenty mana (ussually 800-900) and ussually get about 10 kills in a good game (35-50 mins)
No mana pot on a caster. Sad. The return is far more than a strike token will ever give you in terms of pushing, cxp gain, holding your lane, defending your lane, and in general playing the game. Also, always use your rmb to secure your nuke lands. It all about the amount of damage you can do during your tether with Gideon!
