This build is what I've been using with stonetooth heart for health and pen instead of amulet of the veteran and I have to say this build is amazing. Good stuff britik
So glad you updated her! I just started playing with Sparrow so this was perfect timing. I built her deck in a similar fashion so it's good to know I'm on the right track. Keep up the good work!
I may try this once I get another bone plate, bc as of right now my sparrow is pure damage and crit with a very small amount of attack speed. For me that works but I do think this build would be very beneficial for me to try out. Thanks for the sparrow build!
My build is brawlers ward with three major strikes 12 Spiked bone plate three major strikes 12 Thrones greenweave three major strikes 12 Offensive maneuvers with 3 wounds 9 Feral stone 2 major kinetics 1 kinetic 11 Hunters guile no upgrades 4 This equals to 60 and allows crits for roughly 560 damage
+Neil Jhurial when I first started playing I died a lot but now that I'm decent I tend to go positive. Last time I used her I think I went 14-7. If I get hit by khamiera or kallari I tend to die but with the wards I use those to know my surroundings so I don't die as easily. My best play was a triple kill on Gideon, Murdock, and someone else whom I can't think of. But if I'm dying too often I have switched out hunters guile with the epic card for order and I can toggle armor allowing me to have 77 for each bc of offensive maneuvers passive.
if I were to guess I'd assume you had the Windcarver blade in case you wanted to replace it with on of your more tanky cards, for example if the enemy team were full physical dmg, you wouldn't need the 12 CP Energy armor card. Also, I really like how you create your decks, using only 3-6-9-12, so that it always fits. Overall a good guide :)
Woo! Another good build! Actually I was gonna ask, how do you counter Pen builds with your Grux build? Is there a card you would switch out for a Pen card?
Sparrow is my main but I've only played for about 2 months and I'm missing a lot of cards - build isn't perfect: Start with jungle drink to tank jungle minion damage and increase dps against them. Later replace jungle drink at will. 1. Wind carver blade (3Xkinetic) 2. Wind carver blade (major kinetic 2X strike) 3. Adamant edge (2X major strike + strike) 4. Adamant edge (greater health 2X health) 5. Spear of rift hunter (3X wound) 6. Blade of agora (3X major strike)
In high ranked play this deck would not phase anyone just grind some matches and buy packs it's a decent build but you definitely want more armor for more sustainability
I prefer to have a few situational cards that I can sub in if I need to rather than discard and sub in the same card but upgraded. Being without a pen card available can sometimes mean you may as well surrender at 20.
Maybe I'll take charging brute out of my deck. Seems like more of a luxury. However if I ever get swiftcreek heart that will be going into a deck similar to this one!
Andres Acosta Yeah. strike token very first to make alst hitting easier. health token to make you not di super quick in the beginning. armor tokens to add to the health token. regen token for loke khaimera or rampage...or any jungler. etc..., so yes they are very useful. In my greystone build I hit 1k health and 60ish energy armor and 70-80ish physical armor at level 5. I out tank everything early and late game
She becomes more deadly with her ult more than just basic attacks on enemies, so it's better that sparrow can take some hits while chasing down enemies with her ult ;)
Nice guide. One question, why you choose not to build crit? And also, i find one growth card very good with sparrow, the one with an active that shred physical armor. Could it be implemented in this build?. Thx a lot
Been seeing builds similar to this on her a lot lately. Dunno if you are taking any suggestions for the order you do Diamond builds in, but any shot of getting one for Murdock in the near future? I saw someone build him with like 4 flippin micronukes the other day and was going freight train on everyone. XD Just curious as to if your build on him has changed any.
I already have a Grux Build updated, and my Khaimera and Greystone builds are relatively recent and still good. The only outdated ones really are Feng Mao and Kallari, who are both currently not even in the meta. So I think I'm in a pretty good spot right now :)
so if i understand correctly, the strategy is during early game upgrade equipment cards with minor cards to get a quick boost in damage, speed or whatever. then replace those equipment cards with an the same card but then upgrade with higher point cards?
tried it, I know armor is the meta, and thanks for the work but the damage is so low nothing dies fast enough XD I need her 400+ crits into minions, shooting those 200's just isn't fast enough or maybe I'm doing something wrong XD
How do you get passed other people's armor without pen? also, can I send you my kallari build to see what could improve? Is she viable? she doesn't have much of a team ability, unlike howitzer or gadget ect.
Don't play kallari right now unless you are just doing it for fun, because she has no team ability making her not as usefull in a teamfight as other heroes. As for pen, I couldn't find a decent universal card that gives both pen and damage.
Yeah it is if you have trouble positioning yourself in teamfights. I feel like I see more experienced Rangers not use it because they put themselves in positions where they can run away easily if needed.
I've been having a better luck putting at least some health and/or resistance on the build. Usually I stack up on damage early on so I can get last hits easier and then start putting points into health or defense. I usually like health more since you shouldn't be getting hit much but when you do, those additional health points really help. Try playing a match with 2 different builds and see what works better for you :)
+Brandon Francois Personally, I put at least 500 health on so I can take some more damage. Otherwise you feel paranoid that you are gonna get ganked every time you push a tower with someone. From what I have experienced that extra health can be the time it takes for your team to save you if your in trouble.
+Brandon Francois You mean cards like Spiked Boneplate? tbh I am not much of an armor person on carries, but then again armor is sort of the new thing recently. I wouldn't feel comfortable giving you any tips without knowing how good it is myself. I'll do some test builds later tonight if you want me to. BritikHD is pretty good at making decks though, so you can use his deck for an idea.
I'm level 17 and I'm primarily a jungler who is willing to learn different roles better, and I was wondering if anyone wanted to play some paragon together?
idk what it is but when I have been playing sparrow ppl go like really. I am like wtf sparrow is great then I proceed to wreck face. Idk where people are getting that sparrow is bad from like shes kallari or something lol.
Agora changed its elo back so it's as if there wasn't a reset, but personally I still think it's wrong, after the reset on agora I won basically all my games since I started playing Murdock and got to gold but because the game didn't reset I was facing low tier silvers and so if I won I was winning 7-6 elo and if I lost I would lose 15 or so and there fore after they changed the elo back I lost 80 elo instantly but my old wins weren't changed and counted as if I was a gold when I was 80 elo less and if that isn't enough proof agora says I'm top 24% while fury says I'm top 14% so I still wouldn't trust agora for elo
It shows you what your previous season elo was on agora.gg as well as showing you all of the history. I base it off of that. Your in game MMR has also not changed (to my understanding, since I keep getting paired against top diamond players). I could be wrong though.
lol idk how ppl build i see tanks with all atack cards and now the adcs building tanky thats is the reason because the matchs are a really shit the people dont know how to build in the role they choose, if the tanks are doing their job you dont need any defense just get back the tank and make dps but all world wants be the fucking carry and die in 2 seconds because the dont have a decent front line, sorry about my bad english
I don't know what other mobas you've played but you don't have to shoot the tank first just because they're there they will run out of cc and then you can go around them and kill the squishies hell kallari as bad as she is can just teleport past the tank
im play smite for 3 years, its very similar to paragon and adc builiding dps can destroy you in 3 hits just need a front line a tank and one warrior to kill other players in rear line just that concept dont exist in paragon because all world want dmg and dmg and they finish feeding because a rampage all dmg die in 5 hits and you dont have front line when that happens, so you gonna lose because u dont have some one in front line concept basic for a moba now if u dont plays mobas u dont understand that
Matias Tello I've played smite for about a year now myself but there have been plenty of times where I was just avoided as tank or they avoided our tank and killed me
Thank you so much dude! You were real quick for this!
one of the best paragon youtubers!
tru
This build is what I've been using with stonetooth heart for health and pen instead of amulet of the veteran and I have to say this build is amazing. Good stuff britik
So glad you updated her! I just started playing with Sparrow so this was perfect timing. I built her deck in a similar fashion so it's good to know I'm on the right track. Keep up the good work!
this is actually better than the one i just got off a hold sparrow player earlier today :)
I like to play tanks, I'm glad to see no one is trying to stop me :)
was going to say! where is the pierce!
(hands in sinister pierce)
Can't wait to try out this deck
Sparrow is bae
IF YOU WANT PEN IN THIS DECK, use Splinterbark Vest.
OK cool thanks for the advice. I would like to know you're opinion on armour pen though. do you find it unnecessary to use?
Stonetooth heart is a better option and more cost efficient
the 3rd wind carver blade is if you don't face one type of damage or dropping your wards for more attack speed.
I may try this once I get another bone plate, bc as of right now my sparrow is pure damage and crit with a very small amount of attack speed. For me that works but I do think this build would be very beneficial for me to try out. Thanks for the sparrow build!
My build is
brawlers ward with three major strikes 12
Spiked bone plate three major strikes 12
Thrones greenweave three major strikes 12
Offensive maneuvers with 3 wounds 9
Feral stone 2 major kinetics 1 kinetic 11
Hunters guile no upgrades 4
This equals to 60 and allows crits for roughly 560 damage
I'm sure you die relatively quick if someone is in your face
+Neil Jhurial when I first started playing I died a lot but now that I'm decent I tend to go positive. Last time I used her I think I went 14-7. If I get hit by khamiera or kallari I tend to die but with the wards I use those to know my surroundings so I don't die as easily. Third Windcarver blade is for when the enemy only has one type of damage Heroes.
if I were to guess I'd assume you had the Windcarver blade in case you wanted to replace it with on of your more tanky cards, for example if the enemy team were full physical dmg, you wouldn't need the 12 CP Energy armor card. Woo! Another good build!
Actually I was gonna ask, how do you counter Pen builds with your Grux build? Is there a card you would switch out for a Pen card?
I use Rustbreaker for my physical pen. As for countering physical pen, I just build a good amount of armor.
Sparrow is my main but I've only played for about 2 months and I'm missing a lot of cards - build isn't perfect:
Start with jungle drink to tank jungle minion damage and increase dps against them. Later replace jungle drink at will.
1. Wind carver blade (3Xkinetic)

6. Blade of agora (3X major strike)
In high ranked play this deck would not phase anyone just grind some matches and buy packs it's a decent build but you definitely want more armor for more sustainability
I build her full damage and attack speed with a blink charm lol. It's really fun
I prefer to have a few situational cards that I can sub in if I need to rather than discard and sub in the same card but upgraded. Being without a pen card available can sometimes mean you may as well surrender at 20.
2 words... Charging Brute. You're welcome
I used to use it
you know it m8
Maybe I'll take charging brute out of my deck. Seems like more of a luxury. However if I ever get swiftcreek heart that will be going into a deck similar to this one!
you can build her with amor and make her crit for 400 if you use her order cards
I start with a health token, so I don't die as fast. along with a health pot and strike token of course
Also cause maybe I only have one strike token
+Xandalf The Great Tokens are actually useful?
Andres Acosta Yeah. strike token very first to make alst hitting easier. health token to make you not di super quick in the beginning. armor tokens to add to the health token. regen token for loke khaimera or rampage...or any jungler. etc..., so yes they are very useful. In my greystone build I hit 1k health and 60ish energy armor and 70-80ish physical armor at level 5. I out tank everything early and late game
I always thought sparrow needed crit. Although lately I have noticed alot of sparrows running resistance and health o.o
She becomes more deadly with her ult more than just basic attacks on enemies, so it's better that sparrow can take some hits while chasing down enemies with her ult ;)
What about physical pen? Everyone and their mothers build tons of armor.
LOL I love this bitch he says hahahahaha superb
Nice guide. One question, why you choose not to build crit? And also, i find one growth card very good with sparrow, the one with an active that shred physical armor. Could it be implemented in this build?.
Thx a lot
I'm the complete opposite I main Murdock and am level 9 with him. I really want to become better at jungling.
Well I have guide for that! :D
+BritikHD I saw! Haha I'll need to watch it.
+BritikHD How come you don't have pen on. won't you not be able to get passed other people's armor? also, is it possible to send you my kallari build?
similar to mine but i use a swift creek heart and a splinterbark vest so if i need pen i have it
Can you show us some gameplay with the deck?
u probably had a third windcarver in case the enemy team had only one type of damage
Surely u wanna have the centurion so you can live longer to dish out more damage???
Great video. Why is it that you don't link your cards. Am I missing something or is it just preference? Thanks.
Preference. Its so I dont get stuck with my choices. It allows versatility.
makes sense. I will give it a shot. New to the game and your videos have helped a lot. Thanks for what you do.
Will you do a Khaimera or any of the junglers build soon? I mean come on man you main jungle.
Unless the old decks are still legit, then my bad.
I already have a Grux Build updated, and my Khaimera and Greystone builds are relatively recent and still good. The only outdated ones really are Feng Mao and Kallari, who are both currently not even in the meta. So I think I'm in a pretty good spot right now :)
Thanks man. As always, real quick reply :)
Do u stream? Cuz i would love to watch it
huy vo ocassionally, it's starting to become a bit more sporadic due to my classes starting up again.
so if i understand correctly, the strategy is during early game upgrade equipment cards with minor cards to get a quick boost in damage, speed or whatever. then replace those equipment cards with an the same card but then upgrade with higher point cards?
Pretty much
You don't think charging brute is good? Its nice to get away from a gank but cost a lot to get in out.
does the lack of armor pen ever become a problem?
tried it, I know armor is the meta, and thanks for the work but the damage is so low nothing dies fast enough XD I need her 400+ crits into minions, shooting those 200's just isn't fast enough
or maybe I'm doing something wrong XD
You will die constantly if you have no armor you want field presence with sparrow she is one of the best carries in the game other than Murdock
Can we get a Feng build
What should i do if i dont have Strike Tokens?
what happen to invigorate
you dont use Crit on Sparrow?
How do you get passed other people's armor without pen? also, can I send you my kallari build to see what could improve? Is she viable? she doesn't have much of a team ability, unlike howitzer or gadget ect.

Hey britik, i was watching your heri guide on severog yesterday and i cant find your beast build guide. Pls halp
th-cam.com/video/t-7fSEBoTGY/w-d-xo.html It's a bit outdated, but I haven't changed it much.
+BritikHD. Thats fine, ive only just started playing on ps4 and your tanky iggy build has helped me heaps. Love your work
uh don't know what to comment
Sane
+Hungry Hippo same*
+Hungry Hippo sane
You need pen my friend.
Is it good to use blink charm with Sparrow?
Yeah it is if you have trouble positioning yourself in teamfights. I feel like I see more experienced Rangers not use it because they put themselves in positions where they can run away easily if needed.
+BritikHD awesome, thanks
Is building any ranger carry a glass cannon ok or should I have some defenses
I play Murdock by the way
