Hey Derek, The brothers Pageau, sounds like a mythological memoir. Chapter 1, when Jonathan made Bret cry. And since you asked and if time allows, deep symbolic breakdowns of movies, and the things that interest you would be the place to go. As that lines up with your desire, as you said earlier to profilirate meaning and consistency of the symbolic structure, all the way down the cultural hierarchy. Peace be with you and family.

@@DerekJFiedler I really enjoyed it, though I think most of it could have fit into a single issue's worth of pages. Given the page count for a book-length graphic novel, I was hoping for more story than set-up. I'm a big comic book fan, so I might have a different set of expectations than most of Jonathan's followers. But I'm definitely invested and they whet my appetite for more. As for the symbolism, there are a ton symbolic world Easter eggs throughout the book. Long-time followers of Pageau will be happy. I did a joint discussion that will be posted on the Symbolism Happens TH-cam channel soon.

I am unpacking the narrative themes first before getting into the nitty gritty. I'll take a closer look at deciphering the code though. If I come across any insights, I will let you know.
