I love the Linq Promenade! So much to do and so many places to eat and drink. Never stayed at the Linq but with those prices I will definitely consider it! Nice video, keep up the good work.

Yeah, Linq kinda has that "Florida Beach Party During Spring Break" vibe, doesn't it? I like it as a nice change, a fun place to get away to for a while when I'm staying at one of the more relatively quiet and corporate-seeming hotels nearby. But it would be way too loud and in-my-face for a longer stay.
And, yeah, I'm old enough to remember Inferior Palace. It had a funky enclosed neon-lit hallway/tunnel entrance from the sidewalk; the whole property had a weird, can't-quite-identify-it smell; there was an auto museum upstairs; nominal Asian decor; the rooms were run-down; every time I'd sit to play video poker at the main bar I'd be propositioned by hookers. Ah, I miss the old Vegas!
I've stayed at LINQ quite a few times and is my def up there in my faves. Especially love the pool atmosphere. Little on the small side, but the music & vibe is always 🔥 Really a good value given the clean / modern looking rooms, central location on the strip and fun pool. always catch myself staring at those trippy screens in the casino too haahaa

The small toiletries provided by the hotel were complementary, meaning they were free of charge for their guests. They are no longer used because it is cheaper to refill the large containers.
It's also better for the environment. We stayed one night at Flamingo about 2 weeks ago. The shampoo and conditioner dispensers were SO much better then those tiny containers when you have long hair.
Yeah it's not really stealing, but agree that it's much better to have large refillable containers. Little hack though - if you really like the supplies, grab a water bottle and pump with reckless abandon.

The little bottles of toiletries and soaps etc. were put in a bathroom for your use, taking them is not stealing, lol. Also, if you want or need more just leave a note beside the housekeepers tip. I always wanted extra body wash to use as bubble bath in the tub and they always left me plenty. I kept the little bars of soap to put in my chest of drawers at home to keep clothes smelling nice.
Lillian, during the pandemic lockdown….all this hotel stuff saved me🤣. I was digging in my suitcase for all this stuff. Soap, shampoo and the lotion for sure. They should give us hand sanitizer. I always ask for sewing kits at the desk👍
We LOVE the LINQ! Stay there every time we go to Vegas. We normally have free rooms so only have to pay resort fee + tax. Food on the promenade is better priced then most places (Tilted Kilt). We play at Harrahs or Caesars normally. Got all my ear piercings & my fiancé’s tattoo at Club Tattoo.
It’s not stealing, those items are meant to be taken by the guest. They cannot be reused once the customer uses them.
So if not taken, they just get tossed in the trash and replaced with new ones.
Right but this saves money by not replacing them regardless if you take them
@@daa589 trying to understand your response, if you use it and don't take it, it still has to be replaced, it cannot be used by another guest. And in fact even if you don't use them and leave them most hotels still remove them for safety concerns.

Stayed there a couple times years ago when it was the Imperial Palace, the place was so disjointed, you get quite a workout just trying to find your way around, i doubt that has changed.

Stayed here once, I liked it though I didn't really spend too much time in the hotel. The location is prime for walking around center strip.
Definitely might try this for when I come to Vegas in October. It’ll be my third time there this year and I’m just coming for a concert so I don’t need anything fancy for that trip.
Great information in this video. That’s the second not so positive review I’ve seen on the Mac n cheese burger. Just watched Normas Foodie tour of the restaurants at Virgin Resort? Would love to see your review on Olive Restaurant (beef carpaccio) as well as One Steakhouse ( are they both worth the money).

Caezar’s use to give 2 free tickets to that show/others as well if you are a Diamond card holder. You get 2 free tickets monthly, go to the reward desk for the list early in the morning to pick what shows their offering that day.
I'm heading to Vegas in August/September this year by myself to celebrate a big birthday & from what I've seen in your vid The Linq looks like the perfect place to be, well situated with plenty of things around it. I'm not 20-30 but I'm good with people that age & travelling from the UK alone isn't always great.
I stayed there twice and its very budget friendly and it also is in the center of the strip which is good for me easy access to all ther other hotels

we stayed at the Linq once, and I won't stay there again. It was incredibly difficult to get around in the hotel. Everyone got lost trying to find their room because it is divided into districts. Our view was the horrible parking garage and a muddy road. I don't like the casino there, the only good thing is the location.

sketchy parking garage, barley lit, filthy, the first level entrance was flooded.
O'Sheas (original location) was such a fun small casino on the strip. Not the same in the LINQ but still cool.
Shame I never got to go! This one has a cool vibe forsure!
Christopher Musick, I agree! When it was a "dive bar" it was a blast and Cheap!!! I remember when Vegas was the cheapest place for ADULTS to get away! None of this resort free rip off, free valet parking at every hotel, and the most expensive buffet ran about $25 but most were $10 at most! Then they started gearing towards a family friendly kid geared casinos with NYNY and the Excalibur and then Food Network took off and the "Celebrity Chefs" started flooding the restaurant market and by 2007 during the recession the resort fees started to make up for the slower economy and MGM was the first to start both outrageous resort fees and then the paid parking. Locals really got pissed and that's much of the reason why most would rather patronize Downtown vs the Strip.
$87 isn't a bad price, I stayed there when it was the Imperial Palace. It was a small, clean room but the walls were paper thin and I got over that want of a strip view after 3 nights of no sleep! Lol 😆 hopefully over the years they got some soundproofing done??
That same beer would have cost you $5.00 at Casino Royale. Try the burgers at Ellis Island Pub. Huge, Delicious and half that price.

I stayed there when it was the Imperial Palace. Horrible. You had to walk out the casino , walk through an alley to get to the rooms. Also had our room broken into. But it does look better than before

How in the world did you get the room so cheap? My husband and I were there in September 2021 and we had to pay $256 per night plus resort fees per night. (Approximately $589) Is it because we rented Friday and Saturday?
Yes those are the days that they upcharge you on. I recommend becoming a caesars rewards member to lower you price for rooms
It doesn't take much gambling to get free rooms for future trips at lower end properties like LINQ, Harrahs, Flamingo, RIO. Maybe as little as $100/day budget on gambling.
2:08 minfridge is the most game-changing hotel room amenity for me.. i always take leftovers to go after eating at a restaurant, and it seems like such a waste when there's no way to store it after taking it back to the room
