    2 cups all purpose flour (300 grams)
    1/2 cup butter or margarine (100 grams)
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. sugar
    80 ml. water
    filling
    1 big can tuna flakes in oil (420 grams)
    medium size carrot
    1 stalk celery
    salt and pepper
    cheese
    3 tbsp. cornstarch
    green peas
    1 pc. of egg
    oil for frying

    Made this today and i added bell pepper. Nagustuhan ko to dahil di na kailangan ng yeast. Pinakasimple na paggawa ng dough. Follow all the right measurements of each ingredient and voila, perfect empanada. With the dough i was able to make 10 big pcs of tuna empanada. Thanks for your videos, very helpful during the lockdown to develop my cooking skill.💟👍👍👍👍👍👍

    THIS IS SOOOOO GOOOD!!! I made tuna empanada with this crust and omg my fam loves it so much 🥺🥺🥺 Hindi ako napahiya sa recipe na ito 🥺 Ginamitan ko lang din sya ng melted cheese. Super yummy talaga. First time ko gumawa ng dough. Thank you po!

      180° for 25 minutes or until brown po, brush with eggwash din before baking😊

      As a hrm student po ginagawa namin sa pagcompute ng ganyan is itototal nyo muna nagastos sa lahat ng ingredients tsaka ilang piraso nagawa if ang total ng ingredients is 100 tapos ang nagawa nyo lang is 10 pcs isesell nyo po sya ng 10 pesos each, tapos magdagdag nalang po kayo ng additional fee katulad ng (repacking fee) 😊 hope makatulong po

    Nice. I will definitely try this during this Holiday season with some mozarella added. I don't like peas though.
    Question, kapag wala yung diluted cornstarch, hindi na magiging makapait yung filling?

      Yes po, kapag walang cornstarch medyo bubuhaghag yung filling at di magiging moist after ma prito😊

      Pag fried po nag kaka blister nangyayari po yon kapag frozen ang fats(butter o shortening) nung nilagay o frozen yung pies bagi i prito

      You can use all purpose flour to thicken the sauce, without thickening the sauce it will be hard sealing the edges and you will end up with dry filling.
