It was on at one point same with Deezer, but was taken off. Sometimes an album will show and then disappear and may show again at random and then disappear again.. Has happened to a few albums for me unfortunately
This song just builds and when that guitar solo finally hits my heart flutters and my hairs raise, goosebumps overwhelm me ... in that moment, nothing really does matter ... hope floods my thoughts, a sense of comfort embraces me, a feeling that everything is going to be alright, that beauty surrounds me amongst all the chaos and destruction in this world, it reminds me that the most important aspects in my life are still within arms reach ... the people I love and the time I have ... this tune changes me every time I hear it, and that’s how you know what good music really is ...
I think Billy has always had amazing talent. If there is one artist over the years that I can put in a cd of anything they have done and just listen from beginning to end, all of his works are it.
This is such a beautiful song, I love the way it's overflowing with Machina / The Machines Of God energy. A fuzzy warmth that melts into your heart, the vocals, guitar, keyboards, and drums are perfection.
This song 🎵 is so powerful...had days thinking about it, woke up and just had to play th video...it helped me in my break up of 8yrs with my ex....this band is a thorn in all of our hearts 💕 💞 been hearing them since I was 8years old ..im 40 now...please don't stop and keep smashing those pumpkin s....🍂🍃
The music video is terrible(which all the _recent_ SP videos seem to be...which is so unlike the amazing videos they made in the 90s) and the album this came from is a complete let down(to me at least), but THIS song is pretty fucking good. It's simple and emotive and has a nice wall-of-sound lush shoe-gazey chord progression going on. Like it.
When I listen to this songI always end up wishing really hard that the world would listen to it so everybody would know what musical awesomeness actually is.
That's The Way (My Love Is) They say that life ain't easy They'll say your life's a crime Destroy up all good reason How I'm alive They'll say that nothing matters Not even your will to survive Of course I love you baby 'Cause I'm alive Yes, I'm alive Whenever I call you out Whenever I draw you round Whenever is here and now That's the way my love is That's the way I care You should call on me baby I'm always there for you Yeah, I'm always there for you They'll say you'll lose your nerve soon To claim identity Disgrace our sacred promise With no belief Oh, how I believe in you That's the way my love is for you That's the way my love is for you I feel a coming age now I feel a dawn in me A certain sun keeps rising On my belief in you That's the way my love is That's the way I care You should call on me baby 'Cause I'm always there for you That's the way my love is That's the way I care You should call on me baby 'Cause I'm always there for you Yeah, I'm always there for you
The guitar in this song consumes me every time. Such a beautiful song and underrated album. One of my favorites. Video is reminiscent of "Tonight, Tonight" video. Stellar.
This song is very close to greatness. What I love about it is its construction and how it builds from Chorus to a different keyed verse to a quiet chorus and then the big guitar solo finally that big major chord. What a moment!
This song pulls on all type of emotions- nostalgia, good and sad memories, loved ones, lovers, old friends and enemies alike- then that guitar solo comes in and multiplies the sentiment like a positive fresh gasp of air... epic!
When this album released SP came to my state. I went to see them live that year and they have never been back since. I'm so happy I at least got one chance in my life to see them. Hopefully they will play here again and when they do I'll definitely be there.
It's been a while since I've listened to this song just because it isn't available Spotify. But now that i've revisited it, it has been on repeat all day
everyone hates on this era of SP but I'm 27, Zeitgeist came out when I was 12 or 13. This was the record that got me into them. This song in particular was what made me fall in love with them. Gish and SD are my favorite records but Zeitgeist is not a bad record. Billy is a great songwriter and has always come out with a handful of good songs every album.
Billy has recorded many albums w/just him playing everything except the drums. He is the Smashing Pumpkins. Same great band they've always been. It's called evolving. Always will be one of my favorite bands
hahaha yea , an speaking of tonight tonight... I'm doing a remake of the music video with the cloud floating and weird shit and everything!! its coming out eventually
Totally. Zeitgeist is ok....hell, over time I've even come to really like some tracks. But....also a bit of a letdown. Very little of the _feeling_ of other albums. But this song is excellent....has that shoe-gaze/dream-pop thing Billy does so well.
It’s overrated to say that something is underrated. Just accept the fact that your friends are never going to have taste as good as yours especially in 2020. Lord have mercy, every good band or song could be called underrated when even indie music sounds like shit. Just be grateful that you have this and it means something to you. You’re the one who’s rating it. Alright, where’s my beer?
@mikedavidrivera 'Highly underrated album' was my comment. As in the album as a whole. As one piece. As an album. It's no surprise that the Smashing Pumpkins can attract a million views for anything in 14 years. And in comparison to the acclaim that the early Pumpkins albums get, Zeitgeist is for sure underrated.
authentic, passionate, unbiased yet conflicted (when not recipricated) lover (I can just tell). Every girls dream. Plus… Deep Pisces- that sums that up. I have always and still continue to have a special appreciation and overall love for this fella.
I wasn't a huge fan of the two previous Pumpkins albums before this one. Adore and Machina both had songs that I liked, but I always felt the band was just never the same after the Mellon Collie era... I remember being pleasantly surprised that Jimmy was reuniting with Billy to make another album, and I wasn't sure if it would work without the other members, but I think this album turned out surprisingly good and I listened to it a lot more than Adore or Machina.
you should know the year 2003 was mostly becoming the end of precious music era, many were disbanded, hauling them for the comebacks, they did, firstly and foremost, the smashing pumpkins, i moved in tears, back in 2007
I like the song a fair amount, but I think I've listened to it more from watching this awesome video than anything else. They really complement each other well.

Man it fills my heart with joy to see this album getting some of the love it deserves. It's not Siamese Dream or Mellon Collie it's Zeitgeist and it rocks.
how the hell is this album still not on spotify after all these years? shameful, zeitgeist is truly underrated.
@townsabove Not in this case Corgan had it pulled.
@@Dravenbelmont yet its ok for youtube, video and all
Still not on Apple music!
They put such bad albums on Spotify like Oceania or cyr and didn’t even think to put zeitgeist on Spotify

One of the most underrated songs of the Pumpkins...
I love this song and this whole album. But that's just me.
One of the best corgan s songs
Yeah it just doesn’t get eaten enough

Shawn fuck you, Shawn!!! Lol kidding bu-dee
If you’re a drummer, you know this entire album is underrated. Played it 15 years ago and I still am here for it.
100% i loved drumming to this
Just that drumming alone is worth a million views.
Yes, we need more musicians and artists not afraid to reach for 110%, rather than settling for autotuned/automated 40-50%
Chamberlain is probably the greatest drummer of all time, he's criminally underrated, as is Corgan on the guitar.
13 years and still and always an absolutely wonderful song
16 years ....
This song is up there as one of their best!

Smashing Pumpkins' music is made to mark ages and stamp memories. There's no song of theirs that does not evoke any stage of my life.

Smashing Pumpkins, Monster Magnet, Jimi Hendrix, the Who, most Pink Floyd albums
The message of this album is indubitably more critical today than ever.
Not everyone's heart Chakra is ready for this gem. For me it is perfect and on time. I can rise to this level of ascension now.
One of my favorite songs of all time. And I can’t even stream 😢
This is such a beautiful song, I love the way it's overflowing with Machina / The Machines Of God energy. A fuzzy warmth that melts into your heart, the vocals, guitar, keyboards, and drums are perfection.
The video is dreamlike.
Always gave me the vibes of “Perfect”, “Eye”, “Untitled” and even Zwan. Definitely hearing some Machina tone/vibe too.
"Of course I love you baby, 'cause I'm alive." So true, what a sick world we live in too that it is that way. 😢
this is a top ten Smashing Pumpkins guitar solo, fo’sho’.

It stresses me out that this isn't on

Same.
same for me
Yeah, I luckily found it in a second hand shop, along with all the mellon collie singles (aka, Aeroplane flies High)
Also, they just took off Adore too, and I think my Adore CD is dying.
2:27-2:55 I want to live inside that sound...stretches the barriers of time and space for me..
This whole album kicked ass.
Obsessed with this song.

I've never heard this song until today.
I bought this album for 99 cents when I was working at Best Buy in 2010. And this song definitely made the purchase worth it.
The guitar in this song consumes me every time. Such a beautiful song and underrated album. One of my favorites. Video is reminiscent of "Tonight, Tonight" video. Stellar.
Zeitgeist is such a great album. I could never understand why it was trashed by critics.
Jimmy's rocking that kit!
The Pumpkins' have the best guitar features in history, period!
Man, that solo is fucking awesome.

Greatest modern rock band
This really is a beautiful song. Absolutely can't get enough.
Underrated banger
This song brings back so many memories, I wish I could be as happy now as I was then
One of the most BEAUTIFUL songs he's got out! WOW! I LOVE IT!
I remember listening to this for the first time on a bus trip to Malta....Great memories of a wonderful Island :)
It's been a while since I've listened to this song just because it isn't available Spotify. But now that i've revisited it, it has been on repeat all day
Something about the way the ending note hangs triggers me to just hit refresh and replay
The last great song by the pumpkins. I remember getting a hold of some real good shrooms, and rocking this song all night long. Great night

Fun fact:
Jimmy Chamberlin wrote out every Smashing Pumpkins songs in six days, all back in 1990.
Eddie Chavez oh hell yeah
but jimmy chamberlin's drumming is probably as crucial to their sound as everything that Billy does.
If that's true, why do they suck now?
Toejoe they're still great but sometimes doing so much by yourself can leave you without fresh ideas.
That solo....so simple but so emotional.
A certain sun keeps rising, on my believe in you 💕
Zeitgeist is to Smashing Pumpkins as Slippery When Wet is to Bon Jovi; a hit machine
Excelent song! Another from the BEST of smashing.
This song makes my stomach and soul hurt thinking about the perfect person I let slip away…beautiful song
my favourite Pumpkins track, shame it doesn't have more views!
I almost cried hearing this song, Billy is just GoD of music
A masterpiece.

Let's just leave it as this: Billy Corgan is an amazing artist who can do whatever the hell he wants, whenever he wants, with whoever he wants.
Beautiful song. Highly underrated album. Its one of their best! Consistent and flows perfectly. Great performances

Truly underrated.. a good recipe of a song.. really good.. !!
Billy is the most gorgeous man in the world to me!! Heart melting!!
I hope you still feel that way 7 years later
This song feels like it was written in Machina era
It does
I enjoyed a handful of their song back in the 90's...
I hate these playlists where most of the songs have been removed..
BEAUTIFUL !!!!! I LOVE SMASHING PUMPKINS!!!!!
Great video, song and band.
I saw them play live i was definitly the best concert i ever saw in my life
the century of the returning best 90s bands...A.I.C ...Soundgarden... pumpkins. thanks for saving good musik;-)
I like how this is an emotional song and jimmy chamberlin is beating the hell out the drums lmao
That's pretty cool. Billy is smooth like that.

this song reminds me of getting on the plane to houston 8 months ago when i started listening to the pumpkins
