For the life of me I just can't understand why people wipe other tribes, and then constantly harrass them until they leave the server. What the hell? Do you want to play alone on an empty server?
Same. Wouldn't it be more fun just allowing the destruction of, say, dinos and doors and structures inside but not the bases.. I mean what raiders in real life in the past would just go destroy every bloody wall în a castle. Raiders usually steal valuables. Don't know. Thatch should maybe just decay fast to make people replace it.. They should have worked on a more interesting PVP raiding, I think.
Raiding is dumb IMO. Tried PvP on many servers, writhing 2 days my bae would be emptied. No time for a solo player to build defenses. Just switched to pve with tribe wars.
UmaroXP well an empty server is good because you can build up getting all the resources without worry and to build up to transfer items too other servers for raids or reinforcing another server base you or your tribe may have. it can be very good. but I understand it sucks for those on the losing end. when ever I raid I always try to avoid killing there passive tames and just go for the items and dip out unless they were a problem then they get wiped
I hate how pvp works, if I were apart of a big strong tribe I would want another tribe to be of the same power so we could have giant 20 v 20 battles. I hate the aspect of raiding smaller tribes to keep them from growing (n enjoying the game). Pvp is just too cancerous, hell the whole community of ark is kinda cancerous seeing as to how even in pve youll have ppl completely ruin your game
This is the result of the most pathetic social outcast virgins grouping into a tribe mentality. People with nothing going on in their real lives, no sense of power or success in their careers use games like ark to get what they aren't getting from their lives. That's why all games like this are just pure cancer. Can you imagine the time and effort needed to run a large mega tribe? It's only possible if you genuinely don't have any life outside of the video game.

There are some unofficial servers like this, i believe its called 'purge' where you can only attack on weekends, but most of those servers are dead so no point in playing on them
it should simply be that on the weekends there is a server purge where anyone can fight, but only attack people who are online. That way if you dont want people to raid you, you dont get on during the weekend
im pretty sure there was a post on reddit about a server with exactly what you want. propably impossible to find now. theeir rule is, that every tribe is a pve tribe, except they put up a red flag at their base. search on /r/playark, /r/ark, /r/arkpc, /r/arkservers (yes, i think there is even a subreddit called ark servers)
Watching this video makes me really want to play Ark. Too bad I can't since there's a 19 Gb update that's bound to take a day or two to download with my trash internet.

Y plant + Tar jars + Flaming Arrow = Immobilized flaming dino or human. Add in some stone pillars to slow them down a bit and sap some of their resources and health.
My comments: Yes, Y-plants are quite disappointing. Wish I had some X-plants. Sounds like you've had the same experience we've had on every Scorched server we've tried: 3 days max until you get raided. Loved the sudden-groan-of-death of your tribe-mate while you were checking the smithy room! Now THAT's the true Scorched Earth experience !!
Adobe has more hit points then stone but it takes damage like wood. Rendering it worse. You and someone else can take out an Adobe wall dealing 40 damage a hit with a pike yet stone takes 4 damage... Stone is the winner, losing out in insulation
I always will look back on these videos. A special part of my life was spent playing this game. I hate how broken ARK is, but there is no other game like it so I can't put it down for good. It's so sad how the game went after scorched earth released. It can no longer be called just a primal dinosaur game.
I did Scorched Earth for a while but then I realized I had my settings boosted up so high that it would be more enjoyable if I deleted everything and restarted on official settings. So my plan is, it work through Ragnarok as if it's my original life, then do Genius maps, then the Island, Scrorched Earth and move around from there. If make sense right now to transfer my survivor as I go but ill figure out that when I get there I guess. I'm also mutating stats in dinos, not sure if I'll transfer a mating pair of each creature or tame and mutate on each map.

+NEBULA I think the jugs you are talking about are the vessels. They are used to store preserving salt. Just like a preserving bin or fridge, but it's only for salt. Goes from 20mins expiration to over 400 days

i love pvp but there are not many good youtubers that get on the pvp action ,also you edit and have a great sence of humor if you did a series id whatch every single one of them
i dont know where you heard adobe is weaker then stone, because its supposed to be the same with more structure health and keeps you safe from the weather and heat. i could be wrong, but from my game play nothing could break adobe besides rock elemental. love the videos man keep it up :D
you double wall stone window frames lined with adobe close the reinforced windows when your not in . protects yyo from heat and keeps your base safe ish . not sure if it works with metal

i build an all adobe house then built stone around that so far nothing has gotten in and when I've got time will do metel around the stone so any Raiders coming will have to hit metal>stone>adobe

reminds me when iv played on official public test server, got raided by chinese alpha tribes every single day for 2 months, sometimes in only 2-3 hours interval, it was not raids for gain, but purely evil and not allow u to play, without any fking reason, we were very friendly tribe. this game is a mirror of how shitty human nature can be

it has less hitpoints then stone and acts kinda like a stone structure that takes more damage.

On scorched earth. If you can tame a carno and level it up in health and melee, you're golden. I got mine strong enough to take down a trex

Use Adobe for inner walls and ceiling then honeycomb rest as stone/metal. You get the perfect insulation and great defense in structure

hey in the reforge roum put a catwalk so you can have 2 forges down and 2 forges up it reallys helps when you wonna save space

adobe can be destroyed by pikes, so its super easy to raid an all adobe structure

it's just a cheap way to see if you have any ground leveling/proximity issues.
its the cheapest way to see where you can place all the foundations and see how big the base is so you can work out the space for each room
Have you ever considered doing a fun 100x subscriber server for a day or two

I’m not gonna try another but when you look at his inventory., he’s lvl 90 with very little stuff. Is that normal or what?
He transfered the character in. Back then you could transfer characters but not items & dinos.
