    Benji, major respect! You’re an exceptional interviewer-guiding Tech into deeper conversations as seamlessly as he navigates his way into a back room filled with NOS grails.
    Tech, your self-awareness is on another level. It’s impressive how thoughtful and intentional your responses are. I can imagine you put a lot of effort into anticipating where this conversation with Benji might go, just like you have a knack for knowing exactly what flea market vendors will charge for an item. The way you handle these exchanges shows you’ve truly mastered the art of working smarter, not harder-a skill honed through experience, trusting your process, and earning the respect of your peers. And, of course, a lot of trial and error-failing, resetting, learning, and applying what works best while keeping the taste of failure fresh enough to stay grounded.
    Big respect to Benji too for figuring things out earlier in life than most. The chemistry and banter between you two were top-notch-I really enjoyed it.
    Looking forward to Part 2!

    Great conversation! A different way of looking at this idea of putting on your work hat and "being someone else" is that it isn't actually being someone else, it's recognizing that within each of us is multitudes. It's being ourselves in a new and different way. We are all capable of being different people at different times, and this can be both a good thing and a bad thing, depending on our ethics, intentions and level of self-awareness - It's the definition of personal growth when done the right way!

    You could have learned algebra with the right tutor. I use it sometimes to figure out stuff. Not often but sometimes. I'm keeping track of things you've said you absolutely can't learn. Dedication and desire are required. You didn't have either for algebra. But I disagree that you couldn't learn it. Great math teachers have endless ways to explain things. The masters don't give up until they see the light bulb go off. Like you do with resellers. Great video today.

    Thanks for the conversation. It really makes me think about the times I have overspent or put value on the wrong things. It really doesn't make you happier in the long run imo. The concept of the infinite money loop is so facinatin and how they can compound and stack on one another. If I could successfully do this business full time it would be the greatest gift anyone could ever give me. I'm close but no there yet. I'm so much happier when working for myself and growing as a person.

    Do you think as a new seller you should pick a niche and stick with it. I’m feeling very overwhelmed trying to learn a bunch of brands and feel like I end up wasting time while sourcing because I don’t know exactly what I’m looking for?

    • @johnwilliamson8367
      @johnwilliamson8367 3 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Honestly it depends on what you have readily available to you in and around your area. Like if you can find an abundance of clothes readily and video games not so much then it really doesn't make sense to continue doing video games you'd be beating your own head against the wall. It's sometimes even dependent on how you source. Like if Facebook Marketplace is your primary sourcing grounds I couldn't recommend going with a singular niche because you simply aren't going to consistently find one particular niche on there with the best product at the best price every single time. At that point you are in a scenario where you are going have to expand the how of how you source whether it's distance or/ other avenues of sourcing.

    • @johnwilliamson8367
      @johnwilliamson8367 3 วันที่ผ่านมา

      It really is a game of figuring out how you work and make it manageable for yourself. It's going to be a minute before you know exactly what you are looking for.

    • @johnwilliamson8367
      @johnwilliamson8367 3 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Like I do video games but that's extremely competitive and incredibly hard to scale on especially with no vehicle. So I decided I'd check out printers and there's plenty close enough that I can either take a taxi, convinced the seller to bring it to me, or ask my friend for a ride. Granted that's not necessarily me saying you should do that it's a bit nuanced shipping printers. I'll warn you that when you ship the printer if it has a tray you will want to remove the paper, remove the ink cartridges or toner cartridges shrink wrapped the cartridges or use a baggie, never place the printer on the bottom of the box, tape all doors/lids shut, bubble wrap the printer, bag the printer because you will have foam peanuts on the bottom and top of it, label the box this side up and fragile, and of course there's testing it before you even do that. That's part of why Technsports left doing electronics/tech because there's a bit of know how even the buyer has to have for it to be a smooth transaction whereas clothes not so much.
      Clothes is one of those things as long as you understand the basics of doing laundry and know how to avoid color bleeds that's going to be the worst part beyond the fakes/veros. Yea returns might be a little high but as long as you do your part you can minimize it and when you do get returns it ain't going to be trashed like people do with electronics.
