If there's one thing the US military is good at, it's logistics. Can move an entire army in a couple of months.
And I saw that while serving in the Army in West Germany (at that time) now it’s Germany in the early 70s and what an honor to see just how capable our solders and equipment is.
Isn't it amazing the amount of time, effort and extreme money that is spent because humans cannot behave themselves. And we always blame 2 year old's for not behaving.
What do they all do if they can’t find a war?
Make one.
Don' t worry, they will find one !
And if there is none, they invent one. 😉

Australia's railways are abysmal - we cant even move a few tanks from one end of the country to the next because we have different railway guages we have to stop and transfer the tanks onto different trains all the time - then there's the problem with hundreds of bridges and tunnels which aren't high or wide enough to fit a tank or the railway lines are too close together !!!!!! You would think that an advanced nation like Australia would gradually sort out these problems but no due to poor planning and abysmal government we struggle through ...................................

Hace ya muchos años estudié ruso (ya no recuerdo nada más que leer) porque siempre me pareció un pueblo maravilloso que estaba en malas manos.
These operations are not "insane". Dozens and hundreds of personnel have signed off on every moment of every parcel from manufacture to destination. That is an enormous stack of accountability, culpability, and verifiable sanity. To refer to any of this as "insanity" is demoralizing in the extreme.
The word "insane" should have probably been replaced with "amazing."
War is insanity. That's not demoralizing, that's fact. Never glorify war. Unfortunately, it's a necessity in life on this crazy planet, but that doesn't mean we should praise it as if it's something to look forward to. When war comes to a country, I don't remember its citizens proclaiming that it's a praiseworthy and wonderful occurrence. These things have to happen because very many people themselves are insane. So yes, it falls under the heading of necessary insanity.
All loaded up with no where to go. Maybe this stuff that cost billions will be of value someday, like when aliens land on earth 😊
Oh it’s got places to go, you can bet on that. There’s a lot more behind the scenes logistical movement being conducted on a daily basis right now than people know. A lot of movement of chess pieces, and strategic placement for future large scale combat operations.
America is selling their overstocked and outdated military equipment to their Allied partners and using that money for more modern equipment like unmanned drones and bombers. Have faith

@@davemeeks8109 the real enemy is whoever is deemed “the enemy” by the military industrial complex, which is no longer just an American structure. Right now, theres a number of potential powers that meet that description. The worlds top one percent shifting things about, posturing, battling it out using the rest of the ninety nine percent as pawns. That’s the truth.
If aliens come all this way and a few tanks cause them problems they may as well stay on their own planet 😂

Do they have to pass a yearly smog check? By 2030 all military vehicles must be electric vehicles.
I assume this is a joke, but for anyone who is unclear, not just US Military vehicles, but ALL US Government vehicles are exempt from EPA emissions standards. State and local government vehicles are also exempt from Smog Check requirements (although, they are still subject to some of the EPA rules). Only you and I have to abide by all of the rules. Which is just how the government likes it. 😉

I actually enjoyed watching my tax dollars being used for something worthwhile as opposed to being wasted on useless garbage like welfare and college loan forgiveness programs for idiotic ingrates who bitch about the money spent on the military while failing to realize they are only able to bitch about it because that very military is keeping them and the nation safe from those who would otherwise try to destroy us and our way of life. To each their own, though.
