I've been watching your video this morning because it was on my playlist this morning, cause my phone for some reason, didn't have total amnesia. I was watching April Wilkerson's on a similar build. Good job on the video brother.
Everyone's beginnings are different. Mine are in the form of 3 home made tables, built from scrap wood.
I work as a heavy duty body repair man. Just think of it an extreme diesel mechanic, with a healthy splash of body repair, with SMC(Sheet Molded Compound), aluminum, and steel.
Anyways, those huge body parts are shipped in large, fabricated shipping crates and containers and pallets of all shapes and sizes. Over the past 14 months or so, I've accumulated a bit of reclaimed lumber. Like my own simi-privet lumber yard. 6, or maybe 9 big racks in total, not counting what's in the 10x10 shed. It's where I keep a selection of long and large stuff for dry lumber during rainy days inevitably come and need to build something the after rain fall. My shop completely outside.

Looks really good! would reversing the bolts on the upper glider brackets so the nut are on the inside of the frame give you a bit more buffer room between the base and the seat?

Since the spacing on each side is really controlled by the design of the bracket, I don't think it would make much of a difference.

After using this project would you do anything different; Longer or shorter glide brackets, different reclining angle, different seat height? Thanks

How long are the bolts? By the way, thonk you. I've been wanting to do this, and you saved me some research time.
