No talking, just walking. Exploring the English Countryside. A nice gentle walk around the beautiful Winster Village located in the High Peak Derbyshire. We meander through the various little paths that go up and down throughout the village. We also pass by so many beautiful gardens full of colour! A beautiful walk! Do enjoy :)

Hi there, I‘m Dave! I've lived in the English Countryside all my life, and I love it! I enjoy walking, and couldn’t help but notice just how beautiful the UK can be away from the cities. I found myself inspired and decided to get some camera equipment and make some walking videos so I can share my walks of the beautiful countryside with everyone!
I mainly focus on small towns, villages, picturesque landscapes, rolling hills and mountains, forests and canals, all along the coastlines in England, Scotland, Wales, and who knows maybe one day further afar!

I use the free version of Davinci Resolve 16 to do some really basic editing. Mainly making sure the sky isn't over exposed. It's from Camera straight to TH-cam. No cuts, no fancy business, no talking, just walking.

I love the narrow, almost labyrinthine-like lanes in the village. Seemed like a lot of the houses were built into hillsides!

You could not find enough of those striking blue flowers falling all over rock walls; some coming right out of the rock walls could you Dave? You really out did yourself on this walk. Adored this walk through Winster Village! Really feels like I am there. Stone houses and narrow stone-lined streets with flowers cascading over the stones is my idea of English village life. As I look out my Canadian window at snow falling and about 8 inches more of new snow to shovel, this video gives me a very nice little escape. My sister will love this walk as well. Sharing it with her.

It is an old village in the countryside. Beautiful, cute, charming, classic, living with nature, peaceful, simple, like a fairy tale village. Like walking in a dream...

We spent a fantastic summer holiday in Winster in 2007. To me it was the best family holiday I ever had. Loved the village, loved the cottage (you passed it at 11:17 and again in 48:05) and the pub up on the hill where we had a drink every night. The locals made us feel so welcome.
There also was a great little community shop.
Since then we have had about 12 more holidays in the UK, each was special, but Winster in the Peak District was the best.
They don't let that beautiful little cottage with it's very romantic garden anymore, alas. Still I hope to come back one day..... What I didn't like? Rain, rain, more rain. I think that stopped us from going again. But it was still beautiful! Really need to go again

If 'Escape to the Country' ever needed a segment where they highlight the places, surrounding the target houses, they should use your videos like this one. I adore these walks amongst a quaint village, with the nature sounds, greenery, and old world charm of the buildings. Absolutely LOVED this walk Dave mate.
