    1. He gives you times to skip too.
    2. I'm here to learn how to do this myself and I'm guessing some others are too. We want him to talk as he is teaching us how to do this ourselves.

    Idk if idve gone the body filler route. Preferably idve gone with fiberglass for strength but either way its looking great

    Great work, I've been doing automotive frame design since 03 but before you added body filler you should of added dyno glass first for a more reinforce frame.

      that's exactly my opinion, because unless you are incredibly talented, you will never get both sides to look the same. And you will be able to notice that even from 20 meters away. And you will be mad at yourself for "screwing up" even if you didn't. And at that point you will have to ask yourself if the invested energy and time have actually been worth it.

    tie a piece of twine to a marker. take a marker put it on top of the already shaped fender. run twine to the center of the wheel. hold twine on the center of wheels then run marker around the top there you go all the same shape

    From observing DIY videos as to the filler material I believed using fiberglass with resin and glass filler wouldve strengthen it more than just body filler its self.

    You should make a single side of car and make a fiberglass mold, so you could do a more resistant part and perfect symmetrical

    I know I am watching this long after you're done, but go to walmart or goodwill and buy a large mirror (if you dont have one) and put it on the other side so you can step back and look at both sides at the same time.

    Should use tiger hair for the first coat ! It's lighter and stronger then bondo. It has fiberglass strans in it witch allows it to flex better. That Bondo will crack !!! Just a friendly FYI good job though!!!

    A cardboard template might be a good idea when shaping to make sure both sides have the same contours.

    how to devalue an M3? I don't get why you'd spend so much time to make when you can buy something that works perfectly? Also with those spacers aren't you sacrificing the way an M3 handles on the road?

    If you Jack the car up the suspension is unloaded when you turn the wheels, so the wheels will hang lower. Need to put car on the ground and turn the wheels.

    Shit looks really good so far for doing it urself... You should have been sanding each layer of foam after it dryed so u wouldn't have had the air pockets and it would have been a lot easier

    You should've had a mirror on the other side of the car, hanging on your ladder pointer downwards. That way you could see a perfect mirror image(that's NOT inverted)

    I love that the music is cut while you're talking but could you kinda of match volume levels a little? every time you stop talking i have to nearly mute my volume the music is so much louder than you're audio... Go slightly more Mono my friend. LOVE the progress on the build
