- Is this the best viewpoint in Lochaber?
This fine pair of Munros - commonly known as the Easains - give a fairly long ridgewalk high above the glacial trough of Loch Treig. Stob Coire Easain in particular is a fine peak and offers superb views; it is quite hidden away behind other summits from most roads which perhaps explains why it isn't better known.

Great video Calum! Glad the cloud stayed high so you got those amazing views.
Thanks so much pal, Yeah we got so lucky with the weather. The weather gods were smiling on us for sure.
Fantastic views as you say. Thanks for sharing
Thank you so much!
That's a fancy tea. Your defo a connoisseur. 😉☕🍵 A fine viewpoint indeed from they hills. Pity I saw zilch. I'll need to return.
Haha... not sure about connoisseur, but I do enjoy a good cuppa. Thanks so much Kev.
Amazing video. Thanks for sharing. 👍19
you are very kind, thanks so much :)
Great video Calum, did these 2 on a hot June day , sat at the top for over an hour as i had the hill to myself, some of the best and clearest views i have had on a hill , stunning place
Sounds like you had a cracker Derek. We are truly blessed with such stunning landscapes. Thanks ever so much for watching.
well, Calum , i have to agree, those were some amazing views. you are very lucky to live in a place where you can go and see such beautiful sites. I would absolutely love to see those in real life.
Dwayne
Thanks so much Dwayne, and thanks for watching. I hope you can see those views too? Any plans to do just that?
well it would be pretty tough since I live in florida. But I am planning to go to the mountains in Georgia this fall. right now all I do is little short hikes in the local state parks. my health as it is won't let me be out in the heat we have here. it's been in the mid 90s for a couple weeks. but I still try to keep as active as I can.
Dwayne
That was brilliant callum, not one of the more popular routes but you could be right with the view there.
Yeah, these two are often overlooked, which is a real shame because its a cracking pair of munros. Thanks so much pal :)
great job mate , done that walk a few weeks ago it was hard going but the views were awesome .
Thanks so much pal. I really enjoyed this pair, and aye... views for days!
Great video, just wondering roughly how long it took you? I do most of my walks with my 10 yr old labrador but he's starting to struggle with very long treks!
It was about 6 hours in total, and that included all the filming and farting about at the summits. Thanks so much for watching :)
