Flats, you could definitely be a castor. If you look at dota casting, which is one of the best casting I have seen, there is a shot caller and one person who is calling out the deeper patterns. Meaning one person is doing the casting for what is happening every second, and the other is the big brain who is contributing by helping all of us understand what is happening at a deeper level and calling out big brain plays. Its like you and Emong. Emong is talking a mile a minute and you would be adding in more in depth analysis to add to emong's shot calling. And emong could add to your commentary because he also understands the game at insane level.
you just described every sports commentating roles. a "play-by-play" commentator that just describes what's happing on screen(talks the most), and a "colour" commentator that will provides more insight into specific things that happen(talks less but usually more knowledgable). that is the traditional lineup. and some duos just work better than others.
I thought overwatch competitive was very boring to because I o le ever watched the first meta of overwatch 2 where everyone pretty much used the same exact comp, but the world cup is actually very entertaining to watch
Overwatch League have the best players in each roles who Can play almost every Heroes so the meta is the best way to win. Most of the players in the World cup are contenders level so they don't have the flexibility of owl players. At this level it's better to play a off meta Heroe that you're good with than a meta Heroes that you're Bad with. Unfortunately the final phase of the World cup will probably look more like the overwatch League.
Is anyone else unnecessarily annoyed by the caster that mispronounces everyone’s name, even when the other caster is saying them correctly? Just me? I get being green and needing experience, but that’s just doing your homework and paying attention to your co-caster and thinking “huh, they said that different than me, maybe I should look into that…”
Why didn't the Netherlands play Kraandorp and match them on the Rein. Like don't get me wrong, Daan wasn't the reason they lost. But Kraandorp has proven to be able to match Benbest on Rein last year in Contenders. Why walk away from the mirror and give France a comp advantage.
Rush comp is the main comp of France and the ram brawl is just more consistent and polyvalent, maybe they didnt trained rein rush bc they dont have a sufficiently good mei or symm player, rein isn't alone ahah
It's role lock and you can substitute players between maps (main roster of 7 players max). There are a reserve roster, but I don't know in which circumstances they are allowed to play.

Completely off topic. But what if a change for life weaver could be, he charges his heal then when he heals someone. Allies around the target who was healed get a passive heal like inspire. This could potentially help with his healing output and struggling to keep multiple targets alive who fall to low hp. It could be they either receive the same heal amount as the target for the heal or a percentage of the charged heal amount. Thoughts?
