Maurice had the eagle-eye and a razor sharp vision. He always knew what he was looking for and he knew when he round it.
This song was actually written by a white couple and it was based on a life style of drug addiction, and fast life style. The couple even admitted they were surprised with the content of the song that earth,wind and fire wanted it.

Add David Foster, who also contributed to the other half and include Bill Champlain of the group Chicago, who wrote the lyrics to Foster's music for After The Love is Gone then you can say practically the entire Album was written by white folk.
