Tickling The Amygdala is an amazing track the production and stereo image phasing is crazy. Super psychedelic track accompanied by Raja's alto flute solo.
Never tried a single psychedelic in my life, heard aquatic garden as background music in some educational video series about Russian painters (???) and it blew me away. Didn’t need anything to be euphoric just listening to this enchantment of a track.
If I just relax my eye muscles and look at it without squinting at all.. it starts breathing. I think that means I've consumed a decent amount of good psychedelics.. Proud moment.
Shpongle makes me want to go out and show the world how music (not lyrics) can literally make you feel every emotion. A lot of shpongle albums do that to me, and it’s absolutely insane to me! ….but then I ground myself back to reality and realize, telling the world about this means they may go mainstream. Let’s not let that happen

Just sayin')
What I hear is : Release the you that's inside me, The danse macabre can now begin, Stumble, floating through the sound, Protective circles, all around. Break apart to build anew Golden prisms we jump through Holographic pyramids We see behind both eyelids . (it do feel like I'm stumbling and floating through the sound)

@@WhoThisMonkey thanks bro
Shpongle and LSD on a Sunday here in Scotland in my eyes is the best CHURCH of all
I should have picked something more chill to listen to before a neuro exam. Now I’m all riled up
Ya probably fried your brains like an egg in a cast iron pan but thats ok.
Listening to this on mushrooms was amazing

thank you for the amazing trip and letting me down easy amazing album guys amazing wow
Battle wounds can be healed but will never go away.
The main drum line that starts just before 3 minutes is probably the most memorable best part of Brain in a Fishtank. I don't even know if it's humanly playable by one person but hey. The complexity is just entrancing for a very noisy mind like mine; the only way to really relax me is to fill my brain up with something complex yet unstressful.
Check out them playing this live th-cam.com/video/ZYowY7tvBbY/w-d-xo.html - the drummer is spectacular.
@@karlnewstead Extremely late reply to this, but wow, that guy's good. Sweat just streaming down his face from the effort.
Well said..
I remember tripping balls to this back in 2013. Time flies, man
51min is a childbirth of this kind of music .... its fcuking awesome !!!
This album helped me heal.
Thank you!

I've always liked Shpongle, but the other day I put on this album after taking 55mg 2CB -- just WOW! mindblown over how tf they knew how to create this music so that it will transcend in such a state... When you know you know:D

I'm Totally sober and vibing with Shpongle baby. One can never be too sober for anything.
Headphones only or really loud.
Superb.
Or both
That very first introduction bass drop is sooooo good ! Powerfull stuff !! Awesomely perfect ! Perfect. ¡ Buetifull ! But somewhat very personaly intimate.. . Mystical.. id defo go dancing again to this.... Miss music... And here it is again.. tears !!
Unbelievable this mix is a compilation of trips and every song tells another story
I feel like a hidden portion of my brain has been opened. I'm experiencing all seasons at once. This is insane. Bro. 🍃
Spyro font lol. Love this shit. I wanna trip balls on some dmt or a real strong shroom trip while listening to this album.
2 weeks ago I listened to "Nothing lasts but nothing gets lost" on a 3.5 g dose of shrooms. It was absolute perfection, took me everywhere I needed to go. The quality of Shpongle's work and understanding of psychedelia is guaranteed to provide a worthy experience.
@@XxXSkAtEbOyXxX Shpongle is one of my goto trip libraries. Brain in a Fishtank is my favorite because I go to Bikini Bottom. or Jellyfish...or everything :p
@@XxXSkAtEbOyXxX Nailed it! I've listened to Shpongle tripping almost every time I trip, mushrooms are the best, it's definitely where the main influence is from, I'm meditating to this one everyday and it's amazing how close it gets me to feeling like I'm tripping, headphones a must!
Be careful what you wish for! Your life will never be the same again! However, he who dies before he dies does not die when he dies.
@@XxXSkAtEbOyXxX try listening to this on the psychedelics peyote or MDMA!!! TRIPPY TRIPPY TASTY
I'm sober as a judge taking a walk in the evening enjoying this amazing music.
You should not have to be intoxicated to enjoy such amazing music
You don't have to be. The experience is a bit different, however.
@@KortKramer both are good nonetheless
I like both.
Always loved them since Divine Moments of Truth · 2004 when I discovered them. Now... I sometimes use Psylocibin Shrooms... and I must be true, they help go beyond physical boundaries ;)
Have we gone too far? Nah, never.
Thank you for helping me through my Spravato treatment. When I listen to this, the music makes no sense, it just sounds like noise.
But whenever I listen to it when I’m on a journey, all of the sudden the music makes sense and, just everything. It works.
On my first ever trip, I was nearing the end of the experience, when I realized I hadn't listened to any music! I searched "acid music" (lol), and this was the first result at the time. I think the album had just dropped. What a crazy moment. It unlocked something in my head in regards to music, I turned heavy on to jam bands. But I still throw stuff like this on from time to time to feel that nostalgia of a first trip
My name is Tim Laursen and I approve of this music.
Yay that I can have a listen to this album whilst substitute teaching high school freshman Biology. One ear bud in of course, i cant wait to hear with both pods in, and yes, i am sober af, smiling innocently, but little do they know how kiki is delivering this service
It is always a pleasure to revisit this soulful, sonic masterpiece.
Sunday the sun is shining hear Shpongle just a beautiful day
Same here!
Took three ecstacy last night, listened to this full album, holy fuck I thought rave music was the way to go on ecstacy, I was so wrong this stuff is unlike any other, beautiful
Those who has been Out Of Our Depth, can be Spongle´d! Remember where we come from!
I'm too sober for this
Haha meet me up here man!
Granted this is a great trip album, but love listening to this level headed too ;-) just like I am now.
just put on good headphones and listen intensely and you won´t be "sober" anymore... :-)
Me too, its a trash
Same haha
i am planing on getting some of the you know what tonight and someone recommended me this album well i trip and im listening to it sober and god dame got the chills the whole time amazing cant wait till this is on and im not sober
Hey how did it go ?
Tickling The Amygdala is an amazing track the production and stereo image phasing is crazy. Super psychedelic track accompanied by Raja's alto flute solo.
Never tried a single psychedelic in my life, heard aquatic garden as background music in some educational video series about Russian painters (???) and it blew me away. Didn’t need anything to be euphoric just listening to this enchantment of a track.
No, the images aren't moving. You're just tripping balls
I needed this
Flashbacks 🤣
If I just relax my eye muscles and look at it without squinting at all.. it starts breathing. I think that means I've consumed a decent amount of good psychedelics..
Proud moment.
Sober now but we definetely will see us again on my next trip!
I’m tripping tonight broski can’t wait
@@sunnyj1288 enjoy it
Fs will homie ✌🏽
Shpongle makes me want to go out and show the world how music (not lyrics) can literally make you feel every emotion. A lot of shpongle albums do that to me, and it’s absolutely insane to me!
….but then I ground myself back to reality and realize, telling the world about this means they may go mainstream. Let’s not let that happen
🤣
It becoming mainstream is not that big of a sacrifice
God.....
Bless...
...Three days later...
...Shpongle
First time I listened to this, took me about 2 hours to realize the face isn't moving lol.
I love this album
I smoked such a fat bowl my brain is utterly saturated with THC right now. Love you all. everything is fucking amazing to discover
Saturated with THC. I love it😂

The best shpongle mix of all time [Psybient, World, Psytrance] - 432hz
This is the perfect mix for tripping ballas like me 👽🧠👁️
Bad habits never die ...music is the key to our salvation 👉💫
This music is truly an art form that so avant guard and delicious! It makes you want more. I'm always looking for something different in sound expression.
Love the amount of detail Raja ram stuffs into every second of music and the way it evolves so seamlessly.
Talk about warped perceptions...
*What I always thought were the lyrics*
Release the universe inside me
The danse macabre can now begin
Shpongles floating through the self
Protective circles all around
Break apart to build anew
Golden prisms we jump through
Holographic pyramids
We see behind both eyelids
*Actual lyrics*
Release to you the sins I've made
The danse macabre can now begin
Stone wall floating through the sand
Protective circles all around
Break apart to build anew
Golden prisms rage on through
Holographic pyramids
Were seen behind closed eyelids
(I like my version better, by the way. Just sayin')
What I hear is :
Release the you that's inside me,
The danse macabre can now begin,
Stumble, floating through the sound,
Protective circles, all around.
Break apart to build anew
Golden prisms we jump through
Holographic pyramids
We see behind both eyelids .
(it do feel like I'm stumbling and floating through the sound)
Very interesting, I heard similar, but also different things:
Release the you that's inside me
The dance, my cup, can now begin
Stumble floating through the sound
Protective circles all around
Break apart to build anew
Golden prisons we jump through
Holographic pyramids
We see behind closed eyelids
I love this album so much. So beautiful, such amazing compositions, such emotion and wonder.
Sorry it took so long to find you guys and gals! Awesome album! and I love the live sets!!
The good old O.O.O.D wibes!
