Awesome video !! I am a GM nut as well. I agree - It is a small block chevy ... It will run ... as long as there aren't broke parts inside!! As nasty as the engine looked from under the valve covers and the distributor shaft looks like the engine was run hard/hot. I had a '75 camper special. The 350 worked it's butt off hauling all the weight and "off-roading" to a camp site. Mine looked like that when I did a refresh to it.
This one is gonna get some love in the next video for sure. We’ll get her right. Sounds super similar to yours back in the day. I LOVE hearing stories about people who had similar cars. Thanks so much for sharing yours!

Man you said it… I feel like this truck gave just enough at every turn to keep me going. Just barely enough promise to continue but eventually ran great. Typical SBC stuff I suppose… thanks for the support!!!
I did a “will it run?” Video on a 250 6cyl, i didn’t think I was ever going to get it to fire and run. It was rusted stuck and the valves kept hanging open. I’d pry bar them closed and keep trying lol. If you want to part ways with that tan dash I could use it lol.
These old engines are so resilient. Check out my video on that cutlass…. 2nd video I ever posted. There was at least a gallon of water in that engine for over 30 years. As far as that dash goes, I don’t think I’m gonna put it in that truck so we could work something out. Where are you at?

Good luck buddy!!. I love being around before the 1k subscriber mark... Can't wait to see what u do with the c10. However you aren't the first channel and definitely won't be the last one to need to take this advice.. drop the vice grip garage lingo and just be yourself...
Once it's running and driving lots of oil changes will help slowly clean out the sludge. A little marvel will help as well but avoid any of the engine flush type of crap so it doesn't break off big chunks and plug up oil passages.

I saw some genuine "you" in this video and you have the stuff to do this man. I tried the TH-cam thing and basically before I eveb got the guts to show my face.. the lack of views/subs basically discouraged the hell out of me.. you have this man. I subbed and will continue to watch.. the fkn struggle is real! Keep it going
For the record, if you listened to the talking you’d understand why there’s less filming of “doing” in this video. Battery fires in beds and burnt tripods and stuff.
Youre right. All these channels are all becoming alike without a distinguished character. It's difficult to watch someone who has the camera all the time on his face instead on the thing we came in to watch.
