Very inspiring, showing that you can always rescue a mistake and turn it into an inspiration.Lovely oriental look.
Wow turned out amazing in the end. Was a bit worried to start with. Your creativity and puzzle solving is amazing. Thanks as always Christine for sharing.
I really enjoyed watching this rescue! Love your ideas and sense of humor!
There you have it! The creative “brain gears” got out the gloves and tongs and pulled the trash from the fire and made it into a treasure! Well done you! Not just clever but humorous to boot! You and l are the same age, 1944 vintage l believe… Wrote a ditty yesterday you may enjoy… “l looked around…. The snow was gone and Spring was here. I looked again…. to my surprise…. the snow was hiding in my mirror.” 😮Not everyone will get it… but think you might! Thanks for another delightful “bit of play”. Be blessed as you bless.🙋🏼♀️
Hi Christine, you give us all such encouragement to not throw in the towel if things don't at first work out -- persistence paid off, it turned out fabulously. Thanks so much. 😊🇨🇦
Don't you just love it, when you dont thinking will turn out hood and it's a pleasant surprise in the end. I like the black and gold with the multi coloured guilding flakes. Great idea using adhesive sheets in embossing folder. ❤
A very striking card, I enjoy watching your play day videos there is always something new on each one. The idea’s you have tried work so well and we get to see an amazing card. Thank you and take care.
That was very well rescued. Looks lovely in the end and just shows you not to throw things away!!!❤
I really enjoyed watching how you rescued the panel when it didn’t quite turn out as you’d expected. It was a beautiful result.
Another great idea with embossing with sticky tape and then adding gilding flakes! Made a stunning card. I did find some of my gilding flakes but now I want that one!
Oh wow. What a stunning effect. It reminds me of the brass rubbings we used to do long ago. I love your combination and it would look amazing on any project. Thank you for another fab project and tutorial. Crafty Hugs - Dawn 🌅
I like that you show how to rescue a card!! It helps so much!! This way I will try to find a way to save it and use it!! Thanks so much for sharing!!
Recently I watched a TH-cam video of a lady named Heidi doing something that made me think of you. I kept thinking Christine would love this. Christine would love this. What Heidi did was she used a very fine point tacky glue pen to make different size circles. She used her heat tool to set the tacky glue. Then she used gilding flakes on the circles. They were absolutely breathtaking.
It worked out beautifully in the end. Well done for persevering and ending up with something lovely . I really like watching your thought processes x
Once again a beautiful technique and the end result gorgeous x
Stunning affect from that piece with simply adding black and gold.
Hi. That card is just fabulous. The dark vintage look of the florals against the bright, splashy metallic background really speaks to me. It's truly fabulous. Around the same time as I got my fancy electric eraser I also treated myself to a mini vacuum cleaner (Made To Surprise) for a fast clean-up of my desk and it works very well despite only being battery run. Thank you for sharing this great video and have a lovely day.😊
This turned out much like some backgrounds that we don't necessarily love, but using it in small pieces and it's beautiful. I did like the black ink on top, but once you heat embossed it, I liked it even more. But to much to use the whole thing. The small piece you used is just gorgeous, your card will be gorgeous! I love the black background with the gold mat. Very elegant, and yes a little bit oriental looking. Hugs, Brenda
Thank you for another great video. Always interesting and I learn something new each time. 😊👏💕🐕🐰
Beautiful card! Also, a new way to use gilding flakes! TFS
