This is the comment I was looking for! I'm planning on buying the V2 Pro which is the wireless version, but in the video he is showing the V2 (Wired) and V2 X (Also Wired). The V2 Pro is the Wireless one that comes with the USB Dongle and 3.5mm jack cable as well, so you can play either Wireless or Wired. The reason I want the Wireless one is because I can use it Wired on both the PS5 and Series X, and Wireless works with the PC/PS5 not the Series X which I don't really mind. Still, this is a great video nonetheless!
@@nithorias9622 yes 3D audio works for ps5. The volume does get enough high for me. I try not to blast my ears lol. They are very comfortable for long gaming also. Only downside is adjusting eq you can’t for ps5. Either then that worth the purchase.

Btw the pulse, and other wireless headphones the exact names of which I can't think of right now, when plugged into the controller has a MUCH MUCH better mic sound. I've seen it demonstrated in multiple other videos and I think it's a big point worth mentioning.
The Sennheiser PC38X smoke all of these other headsets in terms of sound quality. Accurate imaging for pinpoint sound direction, good sound stage, accurate footsteps direction, forward mids, nice bass without clouding the mids and highs, and the highs are crisp without being too bright and fatiguing. Once you go Sennheiser, the rest sounds like 💩
@@SimplyPops you could also add the epos (Sennheiser) H6 Pro (close back version) and beyerdynamics MMX 150 (MMX 100), which will also make those other headphones sound like dollar store headphones.

I have the LCD-GX. Extremely disappointed and I'm a Audeze fan boy. I would 100% recommend a mod mic and a second hand pair of hd800s's or a few extra hundred and a new set of hd800s. Also the pc38x is better than the 600s for gaming, has a much more filled in sound stage, backwards, above etc and the imaging is about the same. the hd600s are good for music but they really do sound like there's a hole in the soundstage inbetween your left and right channels and the centre, similar issue I have with the LCD-GX the GX has a wider soundstage though.
I wish someone would do a video of good wired and wireless gaming headset for people with big ears, the only headset I can find that works are the Astro A40 gen 2 I can use them for 12hs+ and no ear burn
I took the V2X but i wasn't satisfied with the sound treatment. It enhance the environment so much. Really cool but in comparison to the hyper X the sound was more neutral and accurate. Good for competition though and the mic is indeed one of the best out thete with the seinnheiser. I'll go with the latter but it's out of stock! Nice video though! Next try to get all audio test , that's the différence between a B youtube channel and a A ;)

i have astro a10's that dont rotate horizontally to rest on my chest when im not in a game so what i do is put the earcups on my temples and they dont fall off

I’ll try playing my PS4 games like TLOU II and Arkham Knight and see what the volume is like on those. But for $60 and just getting back into gaming, I like them a lot.
Use an A/V Receiver that has a Bluetooth enabled and connect any bluetooth Headphone it then you will have much more choice available and better sound quality on the PS5/Series X/S like the Bose 700/Sony XM4 or the newly Apple Airmax.
Yeah, it sounds great without an amp. An AMP/DAC will improve it for sure, but you absolutely don’t need it unless to really want to squeeze out the best possible sound you can get from it.

astro a40 or a50...with the hdmi adapter which is finicky...the cloud 2 wireless which have been great for me...and i think the arctis 7p has sidetone as well
IDK man, I had a wireless logitech headset for my 360 back in the in day, and it was the best headset i ever had. Unfortunately the next gen had lots of issues with them, but If those pros hit, then I might come back to logitech. Rocking the arctis steel series 9x, lost of connectivity issues, friends also have trouble hearing me at times, and it will disconnect my wireless control when there are connectivity issues.
I just got the stealth 600 gen 2 and I had the gen 1 of them for last gen and to be honest the gen 1s were better. You can’t adjust the party audio with the gen 2s and it’s too tight on my head. I would get the stealth 700s if I were you or just get the gen 1 600s

The Pulse 3D Headset is the most expensive headset I've ever owned and although they're not the best they definitely get the job done. Just having just the headband adjust is super convenient as you don't have to fiddle around with the band.

Astro a 10 are the most resistant headset ever! Usually they last mire that 2 years but i coudnt handle mine good and it worked for 6 months.

How about the Steelseries Pro + Gamedac, or Steelseries Pro wireless? Which both work with PS5 and PC which both have a range of 10khz to 40khz
