- I needed a new haircut for the holidays, so I decided to cut my own hair! I followed Brad Mondo’s ‘Butterfly Cut’ tutorial. If you’re thinking of cutting big layers on your own, definitely try this haircut out!

Out of all the people that I've watched do this haircut yours was the most realistic! I had the same experience...lol. I had to re-do my pony tails, straighten them out, & re-wet. However once accomplished it turned out great. Yours does as well ❤...

Yes! My hair is very fine. Make sure to look up Brad Mondo’s tutorial and listen to what he says - make sure it’s wet when you cut it and make sure you cut off a lot of inches or you won’t see these results.

I think looking at the length of cut hair in your hand sets in the reality that you can’t go back lol
From what I know, it's not good to cut hair when wet, but better to do it dry - so confused about all these yells of "my hair's drying!!!" like it was a bad thing 😂
Brad Mondo emphasized that the hair must be wet. He’s the professional, so I’m listing to him. I’ve also never had any hair dressers cut my hair when dry???
If you cut it in place, seeing how it will lie dry is good. When you're using these tricks based on angle, wetting your hair ensures it's all as straight as possible and picks up the right angle. (At least,that's what Brad Mondo said ; he has dry-hair tutorials and wet, so it's not like he's just got a thing about wet hair)
