Hi Khalid, I numbered each entry - usually from oldest to newest - and then I put the numbers into www.random.org/ - starting from 1 up to how many you have - and then it selects one randomly. Hope that helps.

Hey Alison, Thank you for the info! I am selling a product and would like to find a Facebook influencer to do a Facebook giveaway. Am I allowed to send a landing page for the Facebook influencer's page to capture the participants' emails and I select the winner?
Thanks for the video great advice. But I’m confused some are saying you can’t run a contest where the participant has to like your page or share it to enter? And other contradict that? When can I go to get a definitive answer?
Hi Liz, the best thing is to always look at the current guidelines from Facebook (because things change). If you go down to section E on this page you can read about contests. Number 3 is important when it comes to asking for shares facebook.com/page_guidelines.php

Hi Jenny, Yes I believe you can do, you might just have to check the advertising terms to see if they have any restrictions. I'm afraid it's not something I have done myself so not 100% sure :-)

Just one question Alison, how can I select the winner number. For example you showed in your video, that randomly selected no 7 is the winner. How to select that no 7 winner. If you could answer my question. that would ease my GiveAway contest.

I'm from the future, can I still do this on my page or through a 3rd party?
Yes it's still fine to run giveaways on your page as long as you abide by Facebook's terms.
Thanks for your video..is the word "share" or "like" a big no no in the post?
You can ask people to comment Lisa but it against the rules of FB to ask for shares or likes. Some people add a statement to say 'shares and likes are not a requirement for entry although much appreciated' However, I don't know whether FB would ever clamp down on that so I suppose it's 'at your own risk' :-) Hope that helps!

Hi, Alison, I don't see the where it is not permissible to ask for likes or shares in FBs T&C's. Did they remove that recently?
Hi Juan, I have just had a look and it does seem to have changed a little. If you go to this page and then section E number 3 it still says about not asking for shares but doesn't seem to mention Likes any more - thanks for raising it :-) facebook.com/page_guidelines.php

Thank you for the useful information on Facebook Contests. How do I follow up with non-winners and create a voucher for a discounted product? Is there a program that I can use to create a coupon code?
Hi Josh, It will depend what cart you are using to sell to people, most do offer discount coupons. If you are just using Paypal you could duplicate the page and send people direct to the one with the discounted proie on it I guess, more hassle but at least a workaround.
