@@mikesunboxing So I'm getting a lot of mixed ideas regarding giveaways from different videos I've watched. You obviously give away stuff so have you had any TH-cam grief from doing this? I don't want to get banned from TH-cam. What exactly do I need to put in the description that will make the giveaway legit? I had a couple nice table lamps sent to me from a company and they sent me a second to give away and when I reach 10,000 subs that's what I intend to do. Some channels say you need official rules and links to TH-cam guidelines and policies... is this needed? Sorry for the long winded comment but you're the first video I've seen that made sence. Any help from you would be greatly appreciated. Cheers!

I use Grambuddy chrome extension to do this for instagram! Super easy. It also shows "which user" commented "what" and "how many times". And also gives the option to download. I choose the top 3 users who commented the most.

is there an easy way to find the winner in the comments? for example 3000 comments on the Facebook post how do you find who won without scrolling through them all?
I vlog on a specific game, and the publisher sent me a copy to do an unboxing video. I already own the game, so a giveaway seemed perfect. This was the part I wasn't sure about. Now I just need to figure out how to contact the winner...

Hey great video I’m using this site as well but how can I get the actual winner to reach out to me without imposters trying to claim the prize?? TH-cam no longer has the private messaging so it makes it kinda difficult.
We do our giveaways through comments on a Facebook post, then direct message them through Facebook - or just leave a reply comment to contact us within a set time, if their account doesn't allow direct messages. Hope this helps

that is the tricky part depending on the platform you are using due to spoof accounts etc. We used Facebook as it is easier to validate the winner

That's why we used Facebook, so we could private message them for their address
