Very helpful video, Jerry! But a question on settings. Want to have a contest where neighbors can upload their photos to a specific contest post on my business Facebook page. But the post is not allowing viewers to upload their photos. Comments yes, but not photos. Is there a setting to change a specific post? I don't want photos to be uploaded to the page itself...just the post for the contest. Is there a way to do this? or only for the entire page?

Asking your followers to tag their friends is against the rules because you are asking your followers to abuse their personal friendships on Facebook to promote your business. Anything similar to that would be the same. Asking your followers to post on their friends' timelines, asking them to private message your friends, etc. Asking your followers to do things that don't involve their friends is usually fine - you can ask people to Like your page, comment, etc.

Great question! The easiest way to keep it going is to spend money to boost it so new people keep seeing it all week. You could keep re-sharing it, but I don't think you'll get much reach. So the next best thing is as you suggested - make new posts adding urgency (only 3 days left!).

And then it was said that, to be the winner of this contest one should get the maximum shares on the post which he had shared. Every shares (primary & secondary) must be public. So my question is How that company is going to detect the person with most shares, how it will detect whether secondary shares are public or not. Is there any direct method to check all these T&C on facebook page? I think its impossible to count individual shares when post has almost 50k shares.

It doesn't. You're prohibited from asking people to tag a friend, but you can ask them to comment. That being said, some language, like "comment below," is considered "click bait." So it a perfect world just ask your question in the post and it should be obvious that they answer by commenting.

Oh no! If their posts are public, your page should have gotten a notification, but if their posts aren't public you can't see them. A lot of people post so only their friends can see, not publicly.

Okay I have a question...There is a Childrens singer/songwriter my daughter and I have been following for years (my daughter has special needs and will always love this singer). We have gotten to know this singer very well and have met her several times. You are correct, but understand Facebook doesn't want you bribing your current audience to share your message to people who don't care about it. If you want to reach more people not on your page, you can spend a little money to boost the post. Another sneaky workaround is to make the contest where you have people enter by "naming" a friend. Many of your people will tag their friends when they "name" them, but as long as you don't ask them to tag people you're not breaking the rules.

Getting the list of users who have completed your criteria depends on what you had them do. And the channel name is about being efficient and not wasting time on social media. The videos are all the length they need to be to answer the question - I'd hate to be teaching or explaining something and then stop midway through and say, "Uh-oh, we're out of time!" 😆
