i have this stereo on my older car than did not have a touchscreen. i love it. it was cheap, simple to use and elegant looking. changed color scheme to match my cars stock clock(green light). paid 200 for stereo and 100 to have it hooked up with back up camera. cant beat that for 300 bucks now my car has backup camera and Bluetooth!!
I love the AVH-221ex installed in my car. The UI is very effective, well designed, pleasant to look at. Feels nice having a good touch screen console rig different from apple carplay that still presents nicely. Shows the album cover of whatever song you’re listening to when connected to USB which is a huge plus for me. The customizable colors are dope too.
As soon as I saw the test equipment in the test, I subbed to the channel. This is LEGIT

Would be nice to see a tutorial on connecting all RCA Jack's on back, which I have never used.

You had me until you said No Carplay or Android auto. Also, here in Japan, we can watch live TV so why would something like video while driving be disable?

I use the TH-cam music app and was wondering would I be able to search and control the music from the screen? I been looking for a Pioneer radio that plays cds and have android auto with no luck. I just want something I can still play cds and play music from my phone without dealing with my phone.
You would be able to advance or restart a song, all apps are compatible with the track forward and reverse.

So what's the difference between the three stereo 210 n the 211 i know is the same but 211 has a remote that I also see that 221 has one too n also the 221 ??? What's the difference between Darwin and the other two when they all three looks exactly the same

How to you reset this model to factory settings?
On the bottom left of the display is a very small hole. This contains the factory reset button. Use something very thin like a pen or paper clip to press and hold this button down while the headunit is on, and it will reset
Why can't I get the system to display the cover album on the screen?
has to be a usb connection. you cant get the album cover to show through bluetooth

I'm debating between this, MVH-S622BS, and DDX376BT. Part of me wants a touch screen and part of me doesn't think I need it. I really am only looking to upgrade radio for sound and spotify controls which the MVH-S622BS would do even though not touch screen. What are your thoughts. One is 199.00 the other is 114.00
Well they're both good stereos, but this is completely about personal choice whether you want a screen or not. I prefer a screen but that's just me.

Friends i have bought an avh201ex from US but the fm bandwidth is like odd numbers. for example it shifts from 105.9 to 106.1 whereas locally i have a channel at 106.00. How can i change that?
