Hi brother.. You have two option sony IV 300 and Logitech Z906.. If you love to listen balance and clear sound with tight punchy bass then Logitec Z906 is for you. If you love more and boomy bass then sony IV 300 is for you but iy will not give you that listening experience which Logitech Z906 will give you. My suggestion Z906. Thanks.

When ik was looking for info about this set, all I found was simple homemade fan videos, so I started to think that it wouldn't probably be good enough, but your analysis shows exactly the value of this set; probably not high tier, but way better than one would think.
All good but I am not feeling enough bass. When I play movies in vlc with some tuned equaliser then it’s best. But directly on tv like prime or Netflix not feeling enough bass. Is there any way to increase the bass. Even I tried to install equaliser app in my tv but not supporting any app.

nice bro tq, i liked ur showing of creative crossover, im gona buy this system for my PC, i like to modify it. itz woofer is amazing, but dont like the speakers, dont has tweeters, can i make a custom made speaker with car component speaker and tweeter pioneer, will car component woofer sound good for vocals.
Hi brother.. 1. You can't adjust individual front speaker levels. 2. It's high on demand, so you have to keep an eye on amazon or in your nearby computer market. 3. It's price is fluctuating, it depends upon the availability of the stock. It will cost you around 20-26k. Thanks brother.
Hi you had made a very detailed video. Thanks for the share. I had been using the z906 for the last 10 years now. The console was once broken but I was able to repair it. So really happy with the decision to buy this. At present I am trying to figure out a way to set up a Dolby Atmos using these speakers. Please share your insights on how you had connected the z906 to a receiver and add additional speakers to get a Dolby Atmos effect out of this. I don't want stop using the woofer thou. Waiting for your reply.
Hi brother... If you want to setup Atmos theatre then you should have atleast 5.1.2 speaker configuration. Since z906 is 5.1 speaker system with only basic 5.1 dolby digital and basic dts decoding capability. You won't get this higher codec like atmos or dts X out of this z906. You have to buy latest av receiver with at least 7 or 9 channel amplification with in built Dolby atmos and DTS X decoding capability. You can use logitech z906 subwoofer with av receiver. I have seperate equipments for dolby atmos. I haven't hooked this z906 with any of my equipments. You can watch my projection screen video in which you can see my whole setup. A new video is also coming up with how to setup dolby atmos in your home. So you cannot use z906 for dolby atmos. Thanks

If I am able to setupk3lll the z906 with an advanced 2021 receiver then the decode should happen from the receiver and I can make use of the z906 speakers set ( with the woofer) and add some more speakers to get the right effect.there aren't any video which describes this process on you tube. Let me know if you are able to share any insight on the query.

Bluetooth device kisi bhi speaker ke sath laga sakte hai jiame aux ka option ho ya stereo input ka option ho, bluetooth device chal jayega. Hi brother.. You can connect your beamer with this if you have analog or digital outputs in your projector. But usually projectors doesn;t decode dolby or dts signal. If it has analog output only then you will get stereo output not 5.1 surround sound output. I would suggest connect with your bluray player via optical output or coaxial output for 5.1 surround sound. Thanks

Hi there.. Pls go with Z906 only. If your purpose is to listen music and watching movies with great thumping bass. Sony IV 300 is too much bassy and vibrates alot. It will not give you that listening pleasure. Sony has too much bass in it and you will hardly enjoy the vocals, mids and highs. You have sufficient budget to have Z906 speaker. Go for it. Thanks

Hi brother... Yes you"re right it will only give you stereo sound i.e. in front left & right speaker. If you want to hear that stereo sound in all speakers then you have to try that up mix mode - 3d mode, 4.1 mode by just pressing the effect button in front of your Z906 control pod next to input source LEDs. Hi brother.. you have tweak certain settings in your TV’s audio section if your TV supports dolby and dts signal pass through. Then use optical output of your TV to get that dolby digital signal in your logitech z906. You will definitely get 5.1 surround sound. Message me further clarity if you want. Thanks

Hi there.. Yes brother.. Digital input is much clean and have more detail than analog. Mostly analog outputs have compressed audio due to which sound quality get worse. More n more compression more and more degradation in sound quality. So if you use digital over analog you will definitely hear the difference. It's like audio cd vs mp3. Hope you get the idea. Thanks

One is creative sound blaster audigy FX 5.1 but with no optical output. Its has 5.1 analog output. Second is creative sound blaster audigy RX 7.1 with optical output. Third one is Asus Xonar AE with 7.1 and optical output. These are some sound card which range from 4000 to 8000 with dolby and dts support. Hope you have idea now.. If you are in delhi then buy from Nehru Place market otherwise from amazon or flipkart it will cost you more. Thanks..

But it will cost you much more. I have that CREATIVE S750 Gigaworks with THX certification, it also discontinued. I purchased that in 2004. Thanks.

Wahi sony ne smartly play kiya hai, 1000 watt likha but RMS hai PMPO yeh nahi likha kahi par. Agar main logitech 500w rms ko convert karu PMPO mein toh banta hai 5000 w PMPO. Hi brother.. In this price range you can only get Z906, sony IV 300 or Yamaha 1840.. It depends on your need. For me Z906 is the beat option with great output, clean bass. Sony iv 300 has too much bass and details get merged. Yamaha 1840 has low output and average bass. So work on your choice.. And thwn buy. Thanks
Hi there.. One of the main advantage in sony is, it has 2 HDMI inputs and one HDMI ARC OUTPUT. So if you connect sony iv 300 to your TV with HDMI ARC connection you will get 5.1 surround sound and no need to connect via optical connection thru TV. Whereas Logitech Z906 can give you 5.1 surround sound experience via optical or coaxial with connecting to your TV, Bluray Player, DVD player etc. Sony didn't mention anywhere that 1000W output is whether in RMS or PMPO. Logitech gives you pure 500 watt RMS power. I personally feel that Logitech subwoofer is more powerful than sony's. Sony amplification is built on ICs and logitech used high quality transistor for amplification. My vote goes to Logitech only. If we talk about decoding both are same. Thanks for your response and one last question about after sale service of logitech because I have seen many videos on youtube where peoples are complaining that after getting any error in logitech they didn't got any assistance from logitech and it is also unrepairable because the parts are not available in any local market and the home theater gets wasted and unusable.
Okay.. So I want to tell you that if you stay in new delhi there are couple of authorised Logitech service centres in Nehru Place Computer Market. Any glitch in electricity will affect any of your electronic device in your home. There are certain safety measures you can take to prevent your devices such as this Z906 i.e. lower down the volume while switching on or whenever you shutoff your z906 lower down the volume and then switch off. Dont run again high humidity or moisture in air. If you ac is running then its okay. Dont mess with speaker wire while aystwm ia switch on. Make sure that speaker wire ends are not getting shot. While you switch on the speaker system increase volume gradually coz unit also get warm and produce sufficient current for your amplifier's capacitors. It will help in higher volume. These are some precaution everyone should take to maintain your each n evry device in good shape. This will increase your product longevity and prevent from certain damages. You will surely think that who will do such things in India with such products. I assure you I have rupees 8-9 lac home theatre system and I have installed power conditioner to prevent my such expensive equipment from any unfortunate damage. And I also check voltage first before powering them on. I advise everyone of my nearest one or friends to follow such things to save your expensive equipments. Not to worry there are service centres available in all major cities if problem occurs. May be you can first do thus check about service centre in your city and then make your purchase. Hi brother.. The pioneer is COSTLY and this is proper av receiver with full audio and video capability. Its superior than Logitech. It has all the latest codec support which any high end av receiver will have. Pls be clear that what is your main purpose of listening music, movies, gaming etc. If you go with pioneer then spending so much doesnt make no sense coz end of the day pioneer only has 5.1 channel decoding and amplification which logitech alao has. You will get no HDMi support in Logitech but pioneer has. So first decide your criteria then budget then opt. My recommendation for basic home theatre and music listening is Logitech Z906 its cheap and absolute power house to suffice your need. But of you have 50 k then you can consider pioneer. Thanks

Alao ola check whether your laptop support dolby digital sound id yes then get HDMI audio converter and attach that with laptop thru HDMI port. Mobile will not send dolby signal thru any sound card. All good but I am not feeling enough bass. When I play movies in vlc with some tuned equaliser then it’s best. But directly on tv like prime or Netflix not feeling enough bass. Is there any way to increase the bass. Even I tried to install equaliser app in my tv but not supporting any app.

Hi you had made a very detailed video. Thanks for the share. I had been using the z906 for the last 10 years now. The console was once broken but I was able to repair it. So really happy with the decision to buy this. At present I am trying to figure out a way to set up a Dolby Atmos using these speakers. Please share your insights on how you had connected the z906 to a receiver and add additional speakers to get a Dolby Atmos effect out of this. I don't want stop using the woofer thou. Waiting for your reply.
Hi brother... If you want to setup Atmos theatre then you should have atleast 5.1.2 speaker configuration. Since z906 is 5.1 speaker system with only basic 5.1 dolby digital and basic dts decoding capability. You won't get this higher codec like atmos or dts X out of this z906. You have to buy latest av receiver with at least 7 or 9 channel amplification with in built Dolby atmos and DTS X decoding capability. You can use logitech z906 subwoofer with av receiver. I have seperate equipments for dolby atmos. I haven't hooked this z906 with any of my equipments. You can watch my projection screen video in which you can see my whole setup. A new video is also coming up with how to setup dolby atmos in your home. So you cannot use z906 for dolby atmos. Thanks

The bit that was on how I can connect my z906 with an av receiver is what I am interested in. If I am able to setupk3lll
the z906 with an advanced 2021 receiver then the decode should happen from the receiver and I can make use of the z906 speakers set ( with the woofer) and add some more speakers to get the right effect.there aren't any video which describes this process on you tube. Let me know if you are able to share any insight on the query.

Bluetooth device kisi bhi speaker ke sath laga sakte hai jiame aux ka option ho ya stereo input ka option ho, bluetooth device chal jayega. Hi brother.. You can connect your beamer with this if you have analog or digital outputs in your projector. But usually projectors doesn;t decode dolby or dts signal. If it has analog output only then you will get stereo output not 5.1 surround sound output. I would suggest connect with your bluray player via optical output or coaxial output for 5.1 surround sound. Thanks

Hi there.. Pls go with Z906 only. If your purpose is to listen music and watching movies with great thumping bass. Sony IV 300 is too much bassy and vibrates alot. It will not give you that listening pleasure. Sony has too much bass in it and you will hardly enjoy the vocals, mids and highs. You have sufficient budget to have Z906 speaker. Go for it. Thanks

Hi brother... Yes you"re right it will only give you stereo sound i.e. in front left & right speaker. If you want to hear that stereo sound in all speakers then you have to try that up mix mode - 3d mode, 4.1 mode by just pressing the effect button in front of your Z906 control pod next to input source LEDs. Hi brother.. you have tweak certain settings in your TV’s audio section if your TV supports dolby and dts signal pass through. Then use optical output of your TV to get that dolby digital signal in your logitech z906. You will definitely get 5.1 surround sound. Message me further clarity if you want. Thanks

Hi there.. Yes brother.. Digital input is much clean and have more detail than analog. Mostly analog outputs have compressed audio due to which sound quality get worse. More n more compression more and more degradation in sound quality. So if you use digital over analog you will definitely hear the difference. It's like audio cd vs mp3. Hope you get the idea. Thanks

The sound Z906 produce what the music is meant to be listen by the music company. THX gives you that satisfaction. Old systems are also good but it's hard to find out whether the technology is not compromising on sound quality or on amplification. So better you first hear the system which you are trying to buy. One is creative sound blaster audigy FX 5.1 but with no optical output. Its has 5.1 analog output. Second is creative sound blaster audigy RX 7.1 with optical output. Third one is Asus Xonar AE with 7.1 and optical output. These are some sound card which range from 4000 to 8000 with dolby and dts support. Hope you have idea now.. If you are in delhi then buy from Nehru Place market otherwise from amazon or flipkart it will cost you more. Thanks..

Hi brother.. Unfortunately I don't know any like this, within this price range or configuration. There are brands which sold separately speakers, amplifiers etc with THX certification. But it will cost you much more. I have that CREATIVE S750 Gigaworks with THX certification, it also discontinued. I purchased that in 2004. Thanks.

But sony aur logitech mein major difference hai amplification ka. Logitech Z906 500W RMS hai aur THX certified hai that means apko pure build quality aur pure amplification milega without compromise. Wahi sony ne smartly play kiya hai, 1000 watt likha but RMS hai PMPO yeh nahi likha kahi par. Agar main logitech 500w rms ko convert karu PMPO mein toh banta hai 5000 w PMPO. Toh ab batao sony 1000w kitna hoga. Logitech mein transistor use kiye gaye hai amplification ke liye wahi sony ne IC use ki hai channel amplification ke iye. Sony iv 300 ka ek advantage jo apko milega woh hai usb port aur HDMI port. But sony ne bluray disc player diya hi nahi hai aur price 26000 rakhi hai. Hi brother.. In this price range you can only get Z906, sony IV 300 or Yamaha 1840.. It depends on your need. For me Z906 is the beat option with great output, clean bass. Sony iv 300 has too much bass and details get merged. Yamaha 1840 has low output and average bass. So work on your choice.. And thwn buy. Thanks

Hi there.. One of the main advantage in sony is, it has 2 HDMI inputs and one HDMI ARC OUTPUT. So if you connect sony iv 300 to your TV with HDMI ARC connection you will get 5.1 surround sound and no need to connect via optical connection thru TV. Whereas Logitech Z906 can give you 5.1 surround sound experience via optical or coaxial with connecting to your TV, Bluray Player, DVD player etc. Sony didn't mention anywhere that 1000W output is whether in RMS or PMPO. Logitech gives you pure 500 watt RMS power. I personally feel that Logitech subwoofer is more powerful than sony's. Sony amplification is built on ICs and logitech used high quality transistor for amplification. My vote goes to Logitech only. If we talk about decoding both are same. Thanks for your response and one last question about after sale service of logitech because I have seen many videos on youtube where peoples are complaining that after getting any error in logitech they didn't got any assistance from logitech and it is also unrepairable because the parts are not available in any local market and the home theater gets wasted and unusable.
Okay.. So I want to tell you that if you stay in new delhi there are couple of authorised Logitech service centres in Nehru Place Computer Market. Any glitch in electricity will affect any of your electronic device in your home. There are certain safety measures you can take to prevent your devices such as this Z906 i.e. lower down the volume while switching on or whenever you shutoff your z906 lower down the volume and then switch off. Dont run again high humidity or moisture in air. If you ac is running then its okay. Dont mess with speaker wire while aystwm ia switch on. Make sure that speaker wire ends are not getting shot. While you switch on the speaker system increase volume gradually coz unit also get warm and produce sufficient current for your amplifier's capacitors. It will help in higher volume. These are some precaution everyone should take to maintain your each n evry device in good shape. This will increase your product longevity and prevent from certain damages. You will surely think that who will do such things in India with such products. I assure you I have rupees 8-9 lac home theatre system and I have installed power conditioner to prevent my such expensive equipment from any unfortunate damage. And I also check voltage first before powering them on. I advise everyone of my nearest one or friends to follow such things to save your expensive equipments. Not to worry there are service centres available in all major cities if problem occurs. May be you can first do thus check about service centre in your city and then make your purchase. Hi brother.. The pioneer is COSTLY and this is proper av receiver with full audio and video capability. Its superior than Logitech. It has all the latest codec support which any high end av receiver will have. Pls be clear that what is your main purpose of listening music, movies, gaming etc. If you go with pioneer then spending so much doesnt make no sense coz end of the day pioneer only has 5.1 channel decoding and amplification which logitech alao has. You will get no HDMi support in Logitech but pioneer has. So first decide your criteria then budget then opt. My recommendation for basic home theatre and music listening is Logitech Z906 its cheap and absolute power house to suffice your need. But of you have 50 k then you can consider pioneer. Thanks

Hi brother.. No didn't used that with my current AV Receiver. Because my AV Receiver is more advanced and powerful than Logitech Z901. Agar aap apne purane AV Receiver jo ki 5.1, 7.1 hai aur analog output ke saath hai toh aap Logitech Z906 ko connect kar sakte hai. Thanks

Hi brother.. You can purchase external sound card with optical out and cam attach with laptop thru usb port. Alao ola check whether your laptop support dolby digital sound id yes then get HDMI audio converter and attach that with laptop thru HDMI port. Mobile will not send dolby signal thru any sound card. Hi there.. You can use 100 percent copper 14, 16, 18 gauge wire for apeaker connection. Dont fo below 14 otherwise speaker current got weak and more copper will eat the speaker current. Resulted you will get lower sound at higher volume.
