I own the Sony HT IV300 for more than 2 years now...Superb bass, but yes mids and highs are not up to the mark, so I connected the system with my LG 4k tv which has Harman Kardon tuned speakers, and belive me, it's 10 times better now. Haven't heard Logitech model sound but heard Yamaha..Yes it lacks that punchy bass and sound is also low compared to Sony. Btw...Very nicely explained. 😊

Hi sir, I am planning to buy a Home theater and my budget is under 50k I have Chosen three models 1. Onkyo HT-S3910 2. Pioneer htp-076 3. Yamaha yht 3072 Onkyo and pioneer have Dolby atmos and DTS X features and Yamaha has Dolby digital feature. Onkyo and pioneer have Passive woofer and Yamaha has Active woofer. But in sony iv 300 treble is very poor only bass there are no tweeter in all speaker. You can not increase or decrease the decibal points. So you can hear only bass not voice or dialog clearity.

I've this yamaha yht 1840 but I've upgraded the front and center speakers with Wharfedale Crystal series, rear with my old Samsung hifi speakers with 6 ohm and active subwoofer pioneer srs-3sw..

based on your suggestions i've purchased SONY HT IV300 3 days back and i"d tested it produces awesome sound awesome awesome, but it cannot give 5.1ch surround when this home theatre connected to PC. for music lovers through bluetooth njy the music, for movie lovers should connect to DTH box or need to plug pendrive or external hard disk for 5.1ch surround field.

Sony HTRT3 3 YEAR OLD MODEL AND BLUETOOTH 4.0 AND sony Ht-S20R is laletst 2020 version and BLUETOOTH 5.1 but don't know bass qualities..
RT3 and S20R both have great Bass, but RT 3 has more. 😊

I've this yamaha yht 1840 but I've upgraded the front and center speakers with Wharfedale Crystal series, rear with my old Samsung hifi speakers with 6 ohm and active subwoofer pioneer srs-3sw..
I have an old pc which have only 3 3.5mm jacks in the mother board.... no hdmi, no optical port.... how can i connect my Sony ht iv300 to my pc at the most affordable cost to get true dolby 5.1 audio... i have tried to connect my pc via rca to 3.5mm wire, but the output is pathetic...
based on your suggestions i've purchased SONY HT IV300 3 days back and i"d tested it produces awesome sound awesome awesome, but it cannot give 5.1ch surround when this home theatre connected to PC. for music lovers through bluetooth njy the music, for movie lovers should connect to DTH box or need to plug pendrive or external hard disk for 5.1ch surround field.

Can you please suggest me the best 5.1 home theater with maximum bass I would prefer sony the most and my budget is around 16k. I wanted the iv300 but I think it's discontinued now and I also need hdr 10 and hdr 10 plus video as I will be connecting it to my frame 2020 TV via hdmi earc. Also when you say that the hdr formats are not supported do you mean to say the are not supported only on Blu-ray through a bluray player or is is that it won't support it even on prime Netflix TH-cam and via a pen drive connected tbrough the one connect box?
