We recently bought 20 acres, and will be documenting everything on our channel! It was demonetized last year for being inactive and I'd love to get that income stream flowing again. We'll be starting the house build this spring. There's an old bus on the property that with a lot of love could possibly be an airbnb, and a steel frame from a demolished mobile that will likely be a studio for my Etsy shop. I'm also starting a food forest this spring and hoping to run a small scale nursery in a few years once established.

Great information. I am in the process of turning a shed into a cabin conversion, moving from Myrtle Beach to a rural area in Timmonsville S.C. It's baby steps for me because I am figuring it all out with the build done my myself with zero experience. My first step is currently with my homestead I have easter eggers on my incubator for the first time and I am raising red wigglers hoping to sell them. I have been raising wigglers for five years under my kitchen counter. My land is only 1/4 acre so I have a small space but I am hoping to turn it into a little homestead making money at home living my dream. I am making videos with my baby steps. Thank you for the ideas you share.

Great advice! We are living in the city and are limited but hope to eventually have land. We are homesteading where we are until we get there. Just getting things started online and looking to learn.

Great Video!!! I live on a 5 acre homestead with my parents and my dad worked his self till retirement age and soon after was unable to to even finish the homestead due to health complication from just working nn the road doing construction, bad eating habits and long long days and night s working ran his body down, Soooo being in good health is a must or a family homestead like we have is a great way to be togther as a family, its notaal fun but the good out weights the bad, thanks for the video. good luck to you and your family. #LandinMarsHomestead

Great advice! My Wife and I are just beginning our homestead. We are just entering our second year. We built a chicken coop and have a roster and a eleven hens. We had a large garden this year 50x50. We tap our Maple trees and make Maple Syrup. Next year we are going to add bees to our homestead. I'm trying to talk my Wife into goats. Any advise? I appreciate your channel! Thank you!

I noticed you talked about how you would love to watch the process of going from the city to starting a homestead. My wife and I finally found a place after 4 years, and are closing on the 30th of this month. 20 acres with a few buildings already there. We plan on documenting the entire process from the start. Our goal is to be as self sufficient as possible. Do you have any tips? Homestead and documentation/TH-cam wise? Any tips would be appreciated.

Great ideas! My biggest issue with quitting my job is my mortgage. I have to be "guaranteed" @ $2000 dollars a month in my pocket to pay that and pay regular expenses. Have tried to encourage my stay at home wife and kids to get the ball rolling on some income sources but seems the bulk of the labor still falls on me. I'm 55 and would love to actually enjoy my homestead instead of thinking of it as a secondary job.

Don’t move. You will regret and resent your homestead for not making your nut.

Could your wife go to work so you can stay home and work the homestead? I was a stay at home wife for many years. When we bought our homestead and moved I went to work. We both work now but the plan is for him to quit his job as soon as we can get enough set up to start bringing in an income. I will continue working until we get the homestead paid off.
