Amazing tutorial. Spent a about 60 min getting it right! thank you for this. Main question is now, how can you save this in your davinci, so you can just drag and drop it onto new projects if and when you need it?

Awesome Tutorial, i love this ! What should i do if i want the displacement to happen from a different angle like diagonal and not vertical or horizontal ?

Dropping gems since 1900. Thanks for sharing this. Very cool stuff.
Was wondering if there was a way though to create a glass shatter effect procedurally without manually creating the shards shape. If you could share something like this, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks again

Amazing, finally I've been able to develop it, only thing text animation doesn't work, it just appears all together! is there any chance to make it on a transparent background to apply over normal images?

Just used this tutorial to make an intro myself, very thorough and explanatory tutorial. Thank you for your help. One question I have for you though is why do we need the second background? It was too my understanding that if you connected the brightness node to the media out it would simply work. I tested it and it doesn't work obviously but just hoping you could clarify.

Because it's a new branch and you need the background to set the frame

@@VideoEditorStudio so without the background 2 frame the logo won’t be in the 1920 x 1080 size? What’s the first background for then?

Great tutorial! At the end I ended up managing to put everything together, however how do you overlay the logo with transparent background? it just appears black to me. Thanks

Hey Jeremy, as you asked for suggestions at end, I'd like to give one!
Can you teach us how to make some cool graphics like you have in the background of this Thumbnail?

Tanks for creating all these DR videos, I really appreciate them. Maybe one constructive note about your intro sound: seems that your microphone is too far from you which creates a bit of unwanted reverb, a quick fix is booming your microphone closer to you or using a wireless lavalier microphone will also help sound quality of your intro. The rest of the video sound is great. The first 6 seconds of a video are crucial for viewer retention and will help your views

Thank you for your feedback. I know the current set up isn't ideal right now, i'm recording with my ZOOM H5 mounted on the camera cause my Boom mic broke on a shoot. Currently rolling with this until I can buy a new one

Everything works but the RGB split @10:55 when you create the bitmap and link it to displace it doesn't show the black only white and no animation.

Thank you I managed to get this done. I was wondering if this works if I convert the "logo "into a SVG file to be able to add the glitch effect ?
If not what will I have to do to be able to add this effect to an animated logo ?

Make sure you have the same connection as I do in the video if your bit map is connected through the mask input it will not work. Other alternative is using the prism blur node or chromatic aberation node
