Hello, this is a really great tutorial! Quick question: I'd like to keyframe an animation like this so that it starts dissolving slowly before it speeds up. Which variables should I be keyframing? There's a lot going on with these nodes that I don't really understand well.
Thank you. You can actually keyframe the velocity parameter in pimage emitter node and increase it over time, that is the soeed of the particles moving. Hope this would help 😊
@@salmannafeesacademy Hmm, I tried keyframing the velocity -- starting it at 0 and then adding a keyframe to gradually increase it, but now I'm not seeing any dissolve at all. Is there anything else that I would also need to change if I'm starting the velocity at 0? Thank you again for such a quick reply!
@@bensyversen i think you should not keep it at zero in start, keep it in the middle somewhere according to the tutorial and then drag it up to something more later on

Thanks for this great tutorial, however could you please share as to how can I convert this effect into a Macro so that I can directly use it on the Edit page. Thank you
Very clear explanation and a lovely simple use of Fusion for us Fusion virgins! Thank you for doing this. It's an effect I was hoping to be able to create. But I do have 3 questions. Will lengthening and shortening the Fusion composition retain all the settings? I want to reverse the effect to a cloud of particles coming together to create the final logo, is there a way within fusion to do this? Is the alpha value of the particles animatable so they become less transparent as the logo comes together (in my reversed scenario)?
Thanks, yes it will retain the settings after lengthening , but it's always a good idea to start of with a desired length of fusion comp. Reversing the effect could be done with a retime node at the end. Or an easy way of reversing this whole thing is to make a compound clip of this fusion composition after completing the steps in the video and just reverse that in the edit page. About the third question , I am not sure what you meant to say.
