Top’s makes awesome knives. I’m a Top’s connoisseur myself; but if you really want to know which knives will break, check out JoeX’s top 40 knives. The Top’s Tom Brown tracker came in at number two, but should have been number one because that handle did not fall apart. Like the number one knife did.
I have the regular 1095 version but I've always thought about buying this 154CM version but I never did because I kept thinking it might be too brittle for bushcraft tasks. Did you ever get any of those issues with stainless steels being brittle in longer blades?
Wanting to get one of these so bad but absolutely hate how they added the ferro rod striker to the pommel of the knife. I know I can grind a 90 degree spine on it myself, but really don’t want to do that to a 280 dollar knife
@@luisloya1120 They use 1095, which wouldn’t be a problem normally. The issue arises that they temper their 1095 at too low a temperature, meaning it boasts a higher HRC. This is an issue because a higher HRC on 1095 makes it more brittle
Entry level beater???!!! Looks like a TANK to me.
Yea it's a very indestructible knife but compared to many many others it's bot really in my top list that's all
Awesome knife

Thing is still in awesome shape

My friend uses this outdoors, he beats the HELL out of it. It holds up well, its thick you can really abuse it with batoning etc
I have this knife and absolutely love it , but I agree doing delicate work it’s not great like skinning a animal
hey man they make them in 154 cm now too would you recommend going for 154 cm or keep it in 1095 I think it's only a 50$ difference.
You never used that knife. Weird to do a review on a knife you only changed the sharpening
I got the same exact one that handles a little different

Great knife, dislike the company that makes it. I’m hoping to make my own bushcraft knife soon, no one else makes them the way I want them
Hi, what's the problem with the company? I'm thinking about buying their stuff.
