    Hey, thanks for this video. A great explainer. It is very timely for me. I have ordered my first colour 3D printer (not Bambu) that will be here in July. So this will be the first time that I will be wanting to create "stuff" with multiple colours. Your 10 minutes has given me food for thought. I already use Orca and TinkerCAD with my existing printers.

      Glad it was helpful! I have not worked with Orca slicer yet. Cura, Prusa, & Bambu... is it something I should dig into?

      @@HLModTech If you're using Bambu Slicer that is based on Orca. So you'll see similarities if you went to the open source Orca. I use a few brands of 3D printer so try to use a slicer that covers them all. Long term been using Prusaslicer. Started the switch to Orca last year. I see the brands making their own forks of Orca this year so far (Flashforge and Creality to mention two).

      Thanks for the info. I had to learn Prusa for my Artillery X4 Pro this spring. I feel they all have their features they do well. I will have to do some checking to see which printer in the stable has an Orca profile for it.

    Nice! How do you do it so the words and keychain are all on the same plane an dnot raised? When I do it in tinkercad and group it it basically disappears

    Do you use ironing for the keychains or it just comes out nice and smooth? I struggle with the top surfaces, even after calibration.

    • @HLModTech
      @HLModTech  5 วันที่ผ่านมา

      All of my key chains are just given away... so I have never worried to much about the end result being perfect. What filament are you printing with? Which printer and temps too.

      @@HLModTech its a generic brand from Poland, X1C and 220c, I'll experiment a bit more - I guess I'm being too nit picky! :)

    Hi HL. Thanks for another amazing video. Could I ask for something in particular. I'm trying to make a hollow cone with slots around its circumference and reaching top to bottom. Could you help please. Thanks Ken@Zanneth3d
