    I always thought about how planets are so big that when standing on one, you can't even tell that it's round. I think this can be applied to the universe. It's so big, and we are so small, it's impossible to see what it is. Just like a cell on a human would have no clue what a human looks like if it could see.
    I always thought the universe was possibly sentient. Planets are basically little cells compared to the entirety of it.

    Yeah, that falls into a long held idea in Tao Buddhism. The consciousness we have is a single thing, not exclusive to any one being. So your conscious experience, your friends, strangers, animals, etc. Across all beings, across the entire universe are all one consciousness that belongs to the universe. Alan Watts explains this for western minds very precisely in his lectures. Our conscious experience is just the universe wanting to look itself in the mirror.

    I have seen the argument that we are the mental construct of the Universe, so a rippling out of the universe, each a limited view point which enriches the whole viewpoint. Sort of like showing your work in a complex math problem. Each step provides value almost apart from just getting the answer. The why, to the how to the what. Imagine a being that states "I am" and then tried to figure out what it can be. Imagine this as the universe. It splits itself until it can see itself from every possible viewpoint, focussing on every degree within the whole of anything and everything. Example on that. Light and dark or hot and cold are part of the same thing, difference is by degrees. Dark is absence of light, cold absence of heat. We see them as separate, and infinity so, because with our limited minds we can't process it as a whole mentally. But, if you categorize every viewpoint in a "database" then it serves a purpose when put together, quite literally putting infinity together piece by piece. I have seen it suggested that if we are the consciousness of the universe, we are just learning, and we are just learning about what has already happened. Like time is a concept, a focus on a degree rather than the whole. Time is thought to be a man made concept, but if we are potentially the universe's mind, then it would suggest that time is a tool to understand itself. Universe feels and makes things happen. We think and add meaning and value to those feelings. This would also suggest that there is no good or bad. So the "I am" simply "is" rather than "is something specific." The universe is everything, and we are only separate in a grand type of thought experiment that is being done to gain true meaning in "self." Watch Jim Carey's interviews or people who have compiled his stuff to claim he is not "crazy" but waking up to "reality". Now, if Jim is not crazy, and people are waking up to this, if it be true, then we would only be waking up to half truths, because we cannot fathom or grasp a whole truth which encompasses infinity. But why wake at all? Why be concious of the potential fact that we're just a "field of energy dancing for itself?" As Jim explains? Well, I think that if every person is a particle within a multidimensional mental abstraction, then some particles need to know what it is like to know, and some need to know what it is like to "finish" their part. A particle of god, or the universe, is playing out it's role exactly as it should and gets to. I believe the ones that come to such a knowledge are close to finishing their part of the thought experiment. Once finished it returns to the void or the source of everything and becomes like the budist joke "one with everything" having realized it was never separate at all. Meanwhile the rest of us are still playing things out wondering if we are in a Shakespeare comedy or tragedy day to day. I jest a little, however, I actually think these ideas have merit and personally believe it works quite similarly to how I've explained, but on a much more grand and incomprehensible (to a human) way. Certainly fun to think about and makes up for "why bad things happen to good people." Answer = infinity. In infinity everything happens. Like that new movie Anything Everywhere All At Once. Nothing matters in this idea, and at the exact same time everything matters because nothing and something are the same thing diferences are only by degrees. This means a multiverse is real, other lives are real, and quite literally anything you can think of is real somewhere somehow. We just happen to live here and now, and it works within the rules of this particular reality.

    Alan Watts nailed it. We are the universe observing itself. Apertures of light. Also the famous Freeman Dyson said and I will paste it here. This is what he is getting at. “It is remarkable that mind enters into our awareness of nature on two separate levels. At the highest level, the level of human consciousness, our minds are somehow directly aware of the complicated flow of electrical and chemical patterns in our brains. At the lowest level, the level of single atoms and electrons, the mind of an observer is again involved in the description of events. Between lies the level of molecular biology, where mechanical models are adequate and mind appears to be irrelevant. But I, as a physicist, cannot help suspecting that there is a logical connection between the two ways in which mind appears in my universe. I cannot help thinking that our awareness of our own brains has something to do with the process which we call "observation" in atomic physics. That is to say, I think our consciousness is not just a passive epiphenomenon carried along by the chemical events in our brains, but is an active agent forcing the molecular complexes to make choices between one quantum state and another. In other words, mind is already inherent in every electron, and the processes of human consciousness differ only in degree but not in kind from the processes of choice between quantum states which we call "chance" when they are made by electrons.”

The discovery of DNA, all life based on an immaterial concept information. We have the overwhelming evidence of fine tuning in the universe. The discovery the whole universe and it's 13.8 billions years required just so one earth and humanity can exist in the universe, there is no waste it was all needed and we are largely the earliest life can exist in the universe, the universe is actually very young. And other amazing discoveries such as the quantum holography of genetics and so on and so on. The universe is inherently coherent, this requires a mind behind it, God.

      Yes humans are waking up and recognising their own behaviour. There are 700,000 people on Reddit raised by a narcissistic parent support where they recognise that family scapegoat one child. Recognising that pattern seems to be an ethical shit shift and shift in human behaviour to recognise Family scapegoating. To become conscious they need to recognise the unconscious behaviour in family groups and individuals. To recognise Family scapegoating seems to be the most simple but complex thing to do.

      Er, Humans are parts of the Universe. We are not separate from it, we are literally embedded within it. We are entities permissible by the laws of physics, and every atom that makes up a Human is a atom of the Universe. Therefore if humans are conscience, then the Universe is implicitly conscience also.
      There is no separating Humans from the Universe, they are one in the same.

To experience all things first hand as it’s better than learning through a 3rd party. Which is why we forget our past lives when we’re born and pass our trauma/mistakes onto our children so each child has the best chance to make a mistake and learn from it.

      Seems like the universe is just a useful model to contextualize our perceptual experiences, but its not reality. Atoms, molecules, neurons and such are reconstructions of what is actually there according to our model of a space-time universe, but its just a useful mode that got us along through natural selection. It completely leaves out anything fundamental because what is fundamental is not useful, simplified models of fundamental reality optimize for information that is useful to increase our fitness, to ensure that this biological structure will survive and pass on its genes, not so that we consciously perceive this all accurately.

      Pseudo science, science is naturally pseudo, it’s hear say through thought. Perception, this is more so a philosophy than anything. Everything has a cosmic consciousness when it’s apart of life. Atoms to the giants who roamed earth millions of years ago. See how that sounds? We don’t know anything beyond ourselves and what we think is real, true or false. It all falls back on what we think. It is nothing special, If we get a chance to share ideas with other species (aliens). In that time we’ll have a better grasp on life, and consciousness. But overall I think the universe has life, otherwise it wouldn’t have created it. Is it per say conscious? Idk, ask how they feel, lol. Almost like talking to god, just not all that there. We are lucky our universe even made us to perceive these moments.

      The so-called "natural laws" of the universe, the course of nature, its tendency to turn entropy into order, those are CLEAR indications of the unconscious part of the universe manifesting itself. The universe isn't traditionally conscious because it doesn't have cognition, it doesn't think, but that doesn't mean it isn't alive. The universe is consciousness. Well its extension of that consciousness. Not religious but the bible says " we were made in gods image ". It should be " we were made in gods imagination. The universe is/was thought into existence by "god". God is source consciousness. The consciousness that thought all this into existence. We are piece of that consciousness. Along with every other thing in existence. Even inanimate objects we've made. We give then energy and thought them into existence just like creation did with us. Its all a loop🙏
      I died briefly from a heroin overdoses. My world got flipped on its head. I had a " spiritual awakening " to put it simply. During that time, I think I'm going crazy. I want some type of proof that the universe is alive and I got it.. The double slit experiment. This experiment more less demonstrates that our conscious observation has an effect on reality. Thats in part because this thing is to remain the unknown. We learned something, we looked to see the thing we knew, now the universe had to expand, evolve again to be the unknown. Almost every answer we seek is in front of us all🙏 Im not claiming to have all the answers, or any. I just known this life means to me, and I spent a lot of time dissecting this experience. Love you all🙏 The universe is already conscious. Its just slowly developing a voice To tell us shut the fuck up and look at what's around us. That development is the natural evolution of this experience and I think its purpose is oush foward/slap the people who can't believe we're more than these physical bodies without god coming down and literally slapping them in the face. Thats him just starting walking down here basically to show the sceptics , yes i am alive. A lot of people need god to come down from the clouds to believe, and thats what he's doing/ thats what this is. 🙏 Thats probably the " return of Christ " the bible speaks about as well. The return of the children of god, to knowing/feeling a relationship with creation just like " the son " jesus. Thats the holy Trinity. The father " god ", the son ( or sons ) the holy teachers who came to life to teach us to know god before we could see him, and the holy spirit- the piece of god in us/ the yearning in all of us to know god, know that there's more to this life, know what comes next etc. The only thing real is consciousness everything else is an extension of that consciousness. Energy doesn't just feast to exist right? It disperses almost like it lives and life of its. God is the energy that precedes/propelled the big bang🙏

That means something IS wrong! I have a panic disorder since last year and it has taught me incredible lessons in how I should live my life. I was having panic attacks because my life was so unbelievably out if balance and growing in the wrong direction, therapy is allowing me to get in touch with what I actually need to do and that is improving my life long struggle with anxiety. Don’t ignore it, don’t bombard it with benzos and other drugs, do what you can to reach homeostasis and then search for what the right direction is.

      Yes as the video says naturally things become more complex as time goes on. As do we, we seek solution through doubt and blame and other symptomatic human behaviors and like all other illnesses we treat the symptom rather than taking action towards the problem or goal. We should strive to have a hive like mentality, synchronize the individual mindset for the progression of humanity. Are rates have slowed.

    • @MrMadalien
      @MrMadalien ปีที่แล้ว +5

      @@soupypoo "We should strive to have a hive like mentality" this is absolutely the opposite of complexity and is not the future. The future is ever increasing diversity (not in the woke sense, I mean real diversity), think of the human psyche as an extension of the microbiome idea, each individual is like a microbe in a massive fractal ecosystem where each incredibly unique point of consciousness contributes to a larger system of consciousness, it's not a "hive mentality" like that one rick and morty episode. If you look back in history, humans started out in very unconscious, intuitive lifestyles where the individual means little, as humanity emerged out of nature and started to separate itself like a flower emerges from it's previously leafy stem, we move towards increased individuality and separation, which is complexity.

    What I think is if the majority of us like me, after watching this video have made up their mind about the universe getting conscious with life, congratulations we have just created 'the' reality and the gravity of it may soon attractive space and time to bring it into our disposal!

    • @3spressoShot
      @3spressoShot ปีที่แล้ว

      yes but i think what hes saying is that as we and any other conscient form of life grows and expands its sort of connecting the vast universe together even if right now its at its infancy. like his internet example, first it was mail , then phones, then tv, now internet. the world is now pretty much connected or online 24/7. so before if a tragedy happened in the middle of a foreign country maybe only locals would have experienced it. but now the world as a whole is experiencing these activities as one. for example we are all sort of watching whats going with russia and ukraine as one world population getting updated by the minute.
      as we expand to a different part of space and that connects to this earth now there will be two planets connected as one.
      with possibly billions other life forms doing this the universe is connecting into one "being". idk if any of that made sense lol.
      also joe is showing the ego thing he was attempting to criticize because he is separating us as if WE are not part of the universe. we are as much the universe as a blackhole or super nova. so us being conscience is the universe being conscience although I don think that's what the speaker meant. i think the speaker meant what I mentioned above.

    Very nice topic. There might be some anthropomorphism in my post but I tend to believe that the universe is an "experience" simulation. We are it and it is us and everything else.
    The sole purpose would be to generate any type of reaction such as life but also an infinity of others and collect the experience of it and out of that generate again and again and again, that doesn’t mean that it seeks for perfection it may just be about eternal creation over creation like a never ending discovery of effects. Now the Universe might have a beginning and an end in its very own existence but this can also be subject to creation over creation.
    Following those thoughts I also sometimes believe that whatever we are able to imagine also enters this process of creation meaning that as terrifying or amazing this may sounds there may be a possibility that everything we imagine somehow exists within the universe itself…

    If we are made of the same things the Universe is made of, then is it safe to say that a small part of the Universe itself is conscious? Now if that's true, then imagine a Universe in our Multiverse that has a larger percent of conscious life forms than our own. Assuming Multiverses are real, then all possibilities of a Multiverse must be true, so then there is a Universe which has become composed of so many conscious lifeforms the Universe itself could be considered sentient

    Blessings and gratitude Joe! Thank you for this exchange. It's fundamentally important to remember all has their own views on what life is what the heck are we doing here and why why why!?. I'd like to add, all on this planet have cosmic consciousness. In this perception of though, and thought has a huge part of consciousness and that is life all life exists even your instruments you use on your set is alive. So with this thought, the universe has always been alive it is us as a people who never had the perceptual awareness due to how we have been raised over time and not nearly enough information and toxins and illegal limitations to express and meet your inner cosmic awareness.In one thought leads to many more. Keep on your journey and know your on the right path and exploring all levels of inner awareness is the quickest way to become one though this doorway...it's all beautiful and all will be reveals very soon. Consciousness is alive and our earth is alive the biosphere is alive and we all work together. each planet has this unique life force and we as humans are ending a cycle, were evolving as the earth is. We are everywhere and human life is on many many planets throughout our Solar system and universal grids. It's time we all come together as a whole to unite as one collective called Earthly humans and open space for meeting our cosmic relatives because it's happening weather we hold onto fear or not....trust in infinite creation..it surrounds us and let's see collectively were we all can rise too....a new world is coming...and infor one am extremely excited for this evolution of our beloved planet and home we call EARTH. We need to separate consciousness / our energy / soul from the material reality (the Universe). Our material reality seems to be fixed / managed by sets of algorithms and coding (DNA). Somehow our conscious mind, energy, observation affects the projection of this reality. People say life feels like a video game, and they probably aren’t totally wrong about that. It’s like a simulation or holographic reality, experienced as real reality and with consequences (dying and many say there’s a review of what we did during our life here). Then we return to Source, the energy source, outside our dimensional reality. It’s a new state of being, of conscious awareness. NDE and OBE experiencers often say they felt WAY more alive outside of body than inside it. I can attest to this too. I’ve had two powerful OBEs and I’m convinced of this now.

      Hence reality is absolutely unknowable. Is there *really* any difference between awareness of experience and that which experiences? "What am I?", you should ask yourself.

I realized that I have so much support from my family and friends that it makes me a better person overall.

    "The Universe, " is just an atheists way of trying to comprehend our existence. Then, they inevitably come to the conclusion that, "The Universe," has a conscience, and created us!? Sounds a lot like a higher power.

    • @G360LIVE
      @G360LIVE ปีที่แล้ว +4

      What do you mean by "higher power"? There are many different views of what a higher power is. Someone who believes in God would view a higher power as an intelligence that created everything, that is hands-on to the point that praying to God may result in a change to a perceived coming outcome, that so loves and cares for the "lower power" beings (because if there is "higher" then there must be "lower") that there's a all-joyous afterlife waiting for those lower power beings who follow the rules of God. On the other hand, an atheist may view a "higher power" as a power greater than themselves that is not fully understood, has a certain hands-off approach to creation in terms of everything being set into motion at the start of the universe, and has no caring of lower power beings to the point that there is no afterlife to look forward to, and if lower power beings such as humans, destroy themselves and go extinct, then the higher power will simply keep going, perhaps to an inevitable end predicted by the lower power beings (you know, such as when all the stars burn out and the universe stops expanding and simply grows cold and everything ends).
      So, I don't think an atheist would be talking about God when referring to a universe that appears to show consciousness. Maybe what we recognize as the consciousness of the universe is no different than looking up into the sky and recognizing the shape of a bunny in the clouds. Is it really a bunny, or is it simply a cloud that, from our limited perspective, currently holds a shape that we recognize as a bunny?

      @@guillaumericard1233 emergent properties of the universe sounds similar to created in God’s image. The Bible talks about humans being God’s bride and how the ‘two shall become one’. People when they die have visions of a bright light drawing them to it while incredible feelings of love, acceptance and belonging flood their senses. Like being drawn home. God calls himself ‘I Am’ in the Bible multiple times which sounds like a declaration of consciousness. There are just a lot of parallels here. Rogan talks a lot about LSD being something like a portal for our consciouses to travel and meet other beings, Angels, Demons, Aliens. My point is that the only real difference between the Universe you’re describing and the ‘Higher Power’ others are describing is maybe it’s ability or lack thereof to love. At least the ability to love mere humans. That seems like a small difference when it comes to scientific standards. If consciousness is turning out to be more than simply a chemical reaction that occurs only in the human brain then maybe love is too.

    The Universe is already 'conscious,' or more specifically, it's an unbroken field of consciousness. Call it god, the source of all being, the supreme reality, the one life underlying all of creation, etc. Humans are not "one of the driving forces" in this field, but simply a part of it. It is the human ego that deludes one into believing they are separate from it, or can have control over it.

    I agree. We are but a Vessel to venture out into chaos and put order to it. We do that by creating Rules. Rules of which already exist, so were more discovering these Rules. These Rules come in different degrees of 'perfection'. Some of them are bad. Some of them are good, and ultimately were trying to find the best of these Rules to bring 'Consciousness' to the Universe.
    I think this is a cycle that has and will always exist. Beyond the Big Bang, and the infant Big Bangs before it and will come after it. The universe finds itself and loses itself just as is life and death. There is no life without death. The universe as we know it very young. Probably closer to that in comparison to that of an 1 month infant in the womb of one of our Mothers. In our Universe, we have a very long Journey ahead of us.
    By the way. what I mean by Rules are the Cognitive Biases we hold as they are the only thing we know. Our Vessel is build only on our Cognitive Biases. I call them Rules because that is a good way to put it. How often you brush your teeth is one of your Rules. Everything you are is complex system of these Rules, Cognitive Biases, that make up your Ego. Your Ego is like the Captain of this Vessel, again made up out of your Cognitive Biases, or Rules. You exist within a Universe of Rules. Even Time and Space is just a Rule.
    But why all this?
    Well I think Bobby Azarian in this video explains it quite well. We are on a Journey. We are building something. Were growing and expanding. Were turning Chaos into Order. However, We as in You and Me, are one and the same. Different Vessels, but from the same Source. We need to do different things, and collaborate to construct our Universe. We need our Biases to do this much like we need different sets of Electrons to create different kinds of Matter that have different kinds of properties to create in of itself a mixed bag of Chaos to create an environment to exist within. After all, to exist is Why we exist. Otherwise we don't. There is not Nothing. There is Something. And it has to Change. Change is the Forever Constant.
    This Chaos in of itself is a form of Pain. The Rules we discover and use are our tools to build our Vessel in such a way to reduce Pain. Pain is destruction. Pain is Death. Pain is the means to not exist. Love as an opposite is what brings everything together. Love is a Rule. Love is vague with many different subsets of meanings, but ultimately its the glue that holds the entirety of Consciousness together. Our simple minded experience of Love is very primitive if you will. We are aware of it in the way that it motivates us. But this Force is bigger then you and I, and perhaps ultimately, the End of our Universe, everything will be Love.
    And this will also consequently be the end of the Universe, as the entirety of it comes back together to one single finite point, it will create a new Big Bang. And the whole process starts all over again. For all of infinity. Life and Death. Chaos into Order. Forever as its always been and will always be.
    So you need to treat your Vessel right. Find the right set of Rules, Congestive Biases, and contribute to this Journey that We the Universe are on. Don't fret about the significance of your contribution, as so one single life contributes will be single handily be insignificant in the greater scheme of things. You as a Vessel is just a part of this collective Life Energy that we are all one and the same of. You and I are one and the same as the Grass. The Grass is a Vessel. It follows its rules. It contributes to this Journey too. And I'm sure you'd agree as important as the Grass is, its still just a small spec in its contribution to the Universe developing itself.
    The Meaning of Life can be summed up in one simple word: Procreation.
    Life consumes Life to exist. Just like the grass has to regrow every season, so to do all forms of life needed to do the same thing. And as the Rules become more collectively understood, as things Change, so too will be how Life appears will Change. Evolution. Extinction. Its all part of a changing system. A system built of the most recent Cognitive Biases available.
    So Procreate. Its part of the Journey. Make your Vessel with the best set of Rules you can come to. You do this by discovering other peoples Rules, and if it better then the ones you have, you change it. Be influenced by other people for the better, as these very people are one and the same. We are all the same Life Energy. Together, lets bring Order to Chaos. Convert Pain into Love. And lets Transform the Universe as a whole into one Being. So we can die and do it all over again.

His reasoning is that it isnt pragmatic information, and there is no way to get a definitive answer outside of our own definitions of words. Personally, questions and ideas like this are extremely fun to think about and consider. Its a creative intellectual lens that puts a lot of life into perspective. Not to say pragmatic science is not creative or intellectual mind you.

From a perspective outside of our universe, a portion of molecules and protons and electrons came together to record, measure, and chronicle the rest of them. Why is this practical information? Our drive to understand the world around us is directly linked to advances in technology. Although this is a baseless anthropomorphization of the universe, Its eerie to me that the universe seems to incentivize and 'want' us to understand it.
