for those with long chin beard's when making those head adjustments of resizing the bottom chin and tip of the head within the range ,should the long beards be within the range of the measurements or we just assume the beards and stick with the top head and location of the chin while the beards to be left outside

If you cropped the photo using photoshop, without any changes or alteration in the photo background , facial , hair or anything (just cropping). But the photoshop left some mediadata on the photo EXIF in which it shows in the photo (properties) that software is (adobe photoshop) . and I applied with it is it going to be directly disqualified

Hi! You don't need to use the photo tool anymore if you are sure you did a perfect job.
Check on the photo details after cropping your photo.

On the 5:28 duration, when you zoom the image, after the zoom done, i do not know exactly what you press on the keyboard to fix with rectangle.
hit Enter to finish the zoom,
to increase the height of the rectangle, go to WINDOW and select PROPERTIES and from there you can proceed. Please let me know if you still have an issue

When you all set and zoom the image, when you hit the Enter button, the image going to be true 👍
But when I zoom the image and set the rectangle properties and then hit the Enter, no thing going according settings.
Zooming is only for the image, for the rectangle you can also select the rectangle, hit CTRL+T and increase or decrease the shape height then press enter

Hi! You should find that option when saving your photo. Otherwise use the photo tool at the end and you'll get everything done
Pls I have done what you have shown to us but when check is from the USA sit it says, the picture does not need croping

The only problem here is the 96dpi which supposed to be 300 dpi. Maybe they can consider at the end.
File size is ok but maybe your image has a lower quality.

You can adjust that in Photoshop, set the resolution and try to increase the image quality when exporting it.
In Photoshop, go to image and increase the resolution.
Never try to modify the skin texture or color as this might lead to your photo been rejected.

with versions without the "save as a copy" please use "save as" then choose jpg or jpeg.

Yes , it auto crop(resize) your photos to match the dv photo requirements but I like to do mine manually in Photoshop so I can see clear results

Yes it’s preferable to have the white background on the original photo.

Hello, it is said that the artificial intelligence that checks the photos rejects all photoshop edited photos, is it true?

Photoshop can be used to crop photos, i.e. for everything that is shown in this video. But at the same time, you cannot make any changes to the image using Photoshop, except for cropping. This is explicitly stated in the rules: "You will be ineligible for a DV if the entry photographs for you and your family members do not fully meet these specifications or have been manipulated in any way." Therefore, you should not try to change the background of the photo, including making it lighter or whiter. In general, it will be better to check the cropped photo for errors before sending it. This can be done using the "ASTAR photo-validator" program. In addition, this program can crop the original photo itself according to all the lottery photo requirements, which eliminates the need to use Photoshop at all.
