For me it’s actually the .png or .jpg file extension to the layers. That’s my favourite new feature. Actually saves me so much time if I wanna reuse some assets for new designs and mostly to export the assets in premiere pro for video editing. Design the base in photoshop with a still background and export the assets all within photoshop, and then to simply import them in premiere pro. I love it. Thank you Adobe for think about this feature

You should be able to use the Generator thing also in the "normal" release of PS. Just check the box in the preferences > plugins > Generator and restart PS. Worked for me at least. All the best and thx for the video!
Another great video from a master but have you tried out the 'new' remove tool ? I am guessing it is new because I hadn't seen it was possible to use Generative AI with it, you get three options. Use AI every time, never or let the programme decide. There is also an option to 'find people in the background', very nice. Apologies if you have already covered these in another video. I am using Beta version 25.12.0
Holy moly! That semi transparent selection with the selection brush to embed AI generations in a background is something I never would have thought of. Thanks for the hot tip.
Thank you for another easy to follow review... There is one new thing that is not mentioned and it's in fact a bad one. When using the remove tool and "remove after each stroke" is checked a fixed pop up progress box shows up in the middle top of the screen every time. It's invasive and distracting and you can't reposition it out of the way. Before, there was a small floatingspinning circles progress which was small enough not to be a distraction. The big bozwoukd only show up if the selection was complex and it would take longer to process and it could be moved anywhere on the screen if u wanted to. I already posted this on the Adobe community page... Time for a new GUI and new ways to get rid of big boxes which are always in the way, specially for small screen users. The options bar is usually empty on top. I suggest to use it to show progress, contextual menus and more. Cheers!

Unmesh, thanks for another great video. Mate, help: how do you achieve such fine control of sliders when using your Wacom? If I drag a slider to say “20”, in the act of lifting the stylus, it can jump to say 35 (just using random numbers, the point being that I can’t lift the stylus without moving the slider from the position I want).
The generator assets folder when you rename a layer to export in said file format. Does that update with changes, I guess now but if you rename with a different file extention or the same would it update or re-export, I assume so, but that it my favourite feature, such fire!!🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Updated the other day. The new features are great. But, they still haven’t fixed the broken artboards. When working with artboards when moving them are copying them photoshop will freeze for around 30 seconds and then just dump the artboard in a random place!

Do you have "recommended workflow" to scan (resolution) , colorize (if black and white or yellow tint) , enhance details using AI but keeping same look and not give new face or eyes, lossless format to make backup.
Do you have suggestions on how to remove the AI metadata w/o removing copyright metadata so that IG will not tag your image AI? I use generative expand because I shot the image to tight for example.

Text to image is my favorite! But it's not perfect, I wanted to generate an explosion in anime style, but it generated it in a realistic movie style. It surely needs more training, but it's really good.
I was using the watercolor effect as above in the current release with good success, but this same technique fails in the current beta version. When I generate any type of image - watercolor, oil pain etc. I get a large grungy square shape in place of the processed image. I even matched my 'preferences' between the two versions, but the beta version always fails. I think there is a bug in the beta version for this new brush. ...Even using the older method of creating a quick-mask fails.
I really don't understand the difference between gen fill with a semi transparent selection or a solid one. In your example the results look the same and after playing around myself, I'm finding the same. The results are the same for me as well. You suggested the semi transparent blends better into the scene but I'm not seeing any evidence of that?

We use it for setting up all the image assets for our website portfolio.
