If you aren't already, be sure to save a Photoshop file (PSD) while you are working on your project as this will retain all of your layers. How are you saving/exporting out a PNG file? I'm guessing you are using a method that is just exporting out your background (original image) as opposed to exporting out a copy of the combined layers.
Thanks Michael 👍 hey how do you open a RAW file directly in Photoshop & not Camera Raw where you can obviously edit it but I want to bypass ACR for this particular thing I’m doing..Just thought I’d ask thanks again!
Thanks John. Do you use Adobe Bridge by any chance? If so, hold down the Shift key and double click on the RAW file. It should open directly in Photoshop. If you want to control whether that file opens as a Smart Object or not in Photoshop, you can change the "Open in Photoshop as Smart Objects" option in the Preferences… Adobe Bridge - Camera Raw Preferences - Workflow Photoshop - Preferences - Camera Raw - Workflow Working on anything cool at the moment?
