After I select autoblend layers it just turns the new face white like in the layer where we deleted the original face. Not sure what Im doing wrong.
Check if u are clicking on the mask or on the layer

At the layer where you deleted the original face, used the background eraser tool and carefully erase the white layer. Then use the auto blend layers again

When I press delete it just deleted the whole layer how do you get it to just delete the face…?
press delete the button in ur keyboard after you do the selection
Ive watched it 100 times .. idk what I'm doing wrong but when I get to auto blend on my computer its not an option to click . only auto align please help
Rasterize ur images. And make.sure u are not clicking on the mask. But on the layer

I don’t see the extra little pop that you use to select pixels. How do I get that near my side bar - newbie
Hold control and click on the thumbnail of the layer to make a selection
If I am using a Mac how do I find select pixels? I have tried right clicking and there is no option for me to do that. When I right click I get "new layer, new group, delete layer, lock layer, everything except any option that says pixels or select pixels"

After using the lasso tool, the move tool FORCES me to move the whole picture and not just the face.

@WeJustClickme Yeah I spent 4 and a half hours watching this repeatedly and when I'd fix one problem another would pop up. After getting so frustrated, I was on the verge of tears I quit. Watched a different video and get it right except the face didn't change after blending, the new face just disappeared instead. 18 times. I quit. I just wanted to make a family picture for my fanfiction book cover with everyone it (the children are older now than their characters were when the show left off.) Faceawappers wouldn't get the adults 100 percent right. It's too hard, not worth it.

@WeJustClickme Maybe it's because I only have a free trial. There's no way on earth I'd be able to afford photoshop. Extremely poor. I also have a kid to shop for christmas so. I was just hoping with the little free trial I could get this picture done. I managed to find a free website that let me cut the faces off The family picture I got of google images. Then upload the picture of the Actor or actress and drag it in. All I had to do is size It. Unfortunately, I can't blend or change skin tones. But it's better than Ai making them look nothing like them.
Did you have each pic open in a separate tab and not both on the same tab as layers?
why do you delete the face on the original layer before auto blending the layers

what version of photoshop are you using? There is no 'Content aware fill transparent areas' checkbox on my Autoblend layers window, resulting a blank white face instead
Im using 2021 version. Maybe u are clicking on the mask. Check again the tutorial

@@rodrezcarson The layer might be locked, to unlock it, at layer 1 there's a padlock icon, click it. After that, click delete

"PRESS DELETE" I can't find delete. If I click delete below, it delete the whole layer
U have to keep the selection on the layer, and choose the layer below and then press delete

Go to select choose deselect. Or press control D
Sometimes the color of face isnt same, how to adjust the color of skin that we copied to the skin of the background
it does it automatically.. but if it didnt work. then u will have to do it manually

Okay but I can’t get the face to move to the other photo….. I had it but then I decided it was not the best face option. So I started again and now the lassoed face will not move to the good photo

@@WeJustClickme I got that part figured out but now I’m stuck at the part where you say to deleted the layer. Instead of it deleting the second of the face I’m trying to cover it deleted the whole photo.
I also get and Error thing when I tried to to the blend layers that says the paramaters for command “trim” are not currently valid
@LindseyNixon check if ur layer is rasterized. And u have to keep the selection to delete that part of the layer
