      Yeah that should be the worst of it over with, next bunch of videos will be all the procedure guides and relatively easy once people know where every switch is.

    Most wonderful tutorial, i ever saw, thanks and hundreds of thanks. I have a question, how do you turn on the weather radar display on HSI, do you have any add on for this or I am missing some switch. I have trying for months but didn’t succeed. Thanks

      You can find the button on the EFIS control panel, I cover it in this video here: th-cam.com/video/2o8LYEU-MXc/w-d-xo.html

    Great tutorial, thanks! On VATSIM I can use only the first two radio panels(set 4 different frequencies and switch between them using VHF1/VHF2), right? Or do I have to switch between VHF1 and VHF2 MIC selector on the Audio control panel?

    • @Doofer911
      @Doofer911  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I believe that you can activate the Mic for the second radio by hitting the MIC selector on the first radio. I don't use any online ATC system so I can't say for certain I'm afraid.

    Just found this about the TFR button on the Wx display :
    TFR (TRANSFER) - BOEING ONLY
    Boeing: The TFR button allows the Captain or First Officer to select all
    of the control settings from the opposite side except range. Therefore, if
    the First Officer presses the TFR button, the First Officer’s radar control
    settings and display will be slaved to the Captain’s settings. Conversely,
    if the Captain presses the TFR button, all control settings and display
    will be slaved to the First Officer’s side. This function works for both
    AUTO and Manual modes of operation. During Manual operation, the
    TFR includes slaving of the TILT value selected on the opposite side.

    Can someone help me, as a passenger and armature pilot i have always wondered were the radio is to talk to the tower. I know the flight staff and most likely a more experience passenger would already have this knowledge but just encase you needed to send out a message for help, were would this button be?

    Why there's 2 buttons for the adf but only one panel?

    • @Doofer911
      @Doofer911  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      My understanding is that when FSX was produced, the background code only allowed for one ADF radio to function. So while aircraft often have two ADF radios, the simulator was only coded to allow one to work.

    Could you say me which addons do you use? Actually I use orbx global and Rex 4 texture.I also use "anisotropic"filtering.But it looks crappy.All the building look like garbage you know what I want to say..But my setting are on high quality.In Rex 4 I use 5.0 rating theme,but it looks like cartoon! Specially the sky.So if you would suggest me which addons and which filtering mode do you use or you suggest me , should I use for better realism and look great which may be you use,then it would be much better for me.

    • @Doofer911
      @Doofer911  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      In FSX I use REX Essentials, and that's about it. I used to have scenery add ons as well but I don't anymore.

    • @Userznxbdjr
      @Userznxbdjr 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Doofer911 is orbx global worthy? I mean it also too not looks so great .It looks like vegetable soup from sky haha.And what filtering mode do you use anisotropic trilliner or billinier?

    • @Doofer911
      @Doofer911  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Orbx do have a couple of products that provide global coverage but you need to make that decision on whether you want it or not. I think I use triliniar but I'm not sure if it makes much difference.

    • @Userznxbdjr
      @Userznxbdjr 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Doofer911 yeah I think so trillinier is good .Cause I have used antristopic and really looks like garbage.But it may be better in p3d.

    Doofer great videos and I have been waiting for them (next plane maybe the Majestic Q400). I want to ask you if you are able to provide a checklist word or pdf file like this created by one of your viewers ( www.docdroid.net/1gkVymp/a320-aerosoft-checklists.docx ) for the upcoming procedures videos because i was able to print it and it helped me a lot learning the Aerosoft A320. Keep up the great work and I love your videos and livestreams!!!!
    P.S You forgot to put the video in the playlist.

      It is something I'm looking into however at the moment my focus is just on the production of the videos first. Also, thanks for the heads up about the playlist. I thought it was already set to be added automatically but you know.... TH-cam! *rolls eyes*
