- in this video we will mod the muffler in the holzffarma stihl 660 clone. this saw will be the power head to my Norwood pm14 chainsaw mill. this g660 is a 98.5cc big bore with 19 sqish with exhaust port on the cylinder widened and polished for heat to escape faster.
Wind has been bad here to bro, every dam day
@@White000Crow where you at? Im in north central Kansas, where you get all 4 seasons in a day lol. Dry here to
I'm so over the wind lol 😆
I'm probably going milling Sunday... looks the best.
I'm starting the farmmac 372 big bore now brother... IL make sure the camera us correct lol 😆 🤣 😂
@@majorpixchannel7146 I will watch it cross eyed....🤪
@@White000Crow its a wet cold here to. Gotta get farther west, like Colorado, to get that dry humidity=dry cold
@@White000Crow I agree and yes it is...
My G660 came with a dual port cover. I just drilled a 1/2" hole in the baffle face.
Awesome way to muffler mod! Thanks for sharing sir
Hey. Really interesting content. I have just ordered a 660kit and I ordered a big bore cylinder and piston with it.( Farmertec)Would you bother with the big bore? The more I look around the more I get confused. I can cancel the cylinder etc for a credit. Any advice please.
I'm a big fan of the big bore! In my experience it makes much better power! You won't be disappointed sir!!
Thanks for watching 😎
@@majorpixchannel7146 Thank you for that. I was Just going through my order. I was waiting for your reply. So many people on you tube talking about free porting and dramas... Nice to have a straight answer. Really appreciate your help with this.
@@danwerkman yes sir... I have 5 660 clones with the big bore in it! Never had any problems. Let me know how you like it!!!
Hey, where did you get the big bore kit from?
Would you do this to a stock 660 (without a big bore kit)? And what about the carb tune to compensate for the wider exhaust port?
Absolutely 💯... and yes it will for sure need tuned when you open the muffler up. Leaned out probably 1/4 turn!
am sure there is an obvious answer to the question, 'Who enjoys milling in the wind?' but I just cannot think of it!!
I love milling... each board is like a fingerprint! Thanks for watching 👀 sir
