You are always so honest with what you up on your channel. I rather enjoy the info you provide.

When i used to fix 50cc mopeds they had really square ex ports, tho i have old husqvarna cylinders and they are almost egg shaped lol.

Thanks. Hopefully parts will be here in a day or two and we'll see if it actually runs strong. Not just another pretty face...

Ms660 doesn't need intake porting? How many degrees are they open usually?

They(1122-1144) usually have too much intake, that’s why you normally have to raise them with jb weld. I think my 661 had around 83 degrees of intake stock when I sent it for port work.

So the air leak is a crank seal? Why would you redo the crankcase for that leak?

    • @richardflagg3084

Good question. The play in the crankshaft caused the seal to fail. The crankshaft bearings were a must to replace. Installing a new seal would have been a temporary fix and would have soon failed again, possibly causing even more damage if the bearing came apart.

@@richardflagg3084 Oh yes of course there should be no play in the shaft, thank you for the reply. Just out curiosity, how much end play did the crank have?

@@Oli4vn Maybe a 1/16" or less if I had to guess.

Hello, I follow you and some colleagues of you. I'm French and passionate as you about chainsaws and mechanics. I have post this message on chainsaws builders and I hope that you can help me. I published in my shorts on TH-cam «Please who can tell me what is this crankshaft thank u», because I don't know the kind of crankshaft which is on this one. Can you please help me, knowing it's normally a 0.34 ?
    I will thank you.
P.S. : Please apologise my language, I'm just a little frenchy frog who should like to live in your country cause in France, no one is interessed about performance, and there are no fests and competitions like those in which you take part in.
